Abstract

This article describes how special broadcast series archives of Pusat Produksi Film Negara (PPFN) 1959 – 1978 might be a part of the making of Indonesian sport memory. This series makes us able to understand the memory and to some extent the information about the memory are available and accessible through the making of inventory. The archives themselves are audio-visual ones.

Abstract

Among others, archivist should be able to provide access to information over time. But it is impossible to do so all alone. By applying literature study to several journals and books, this article aims to urge collaboration among many other recordkeeping professionals, not only archivists, through an establishment of School of Information (iSchool). Due to the growing problems of digital transformation iSchool would become a scientific hub for knowledge and insight sharing.

Abstract

Disaster mitigation consists of three sequential processes, similar to functional approach towards disaster. The two puts concern that series system able to capture disaster function each of related governmental bodies. Despite the various structures and names of government bodies, it is their single function that creates records. Function defines activity and transaction. Align to it, life cycle approach is considered fail to capture the series system. Thus, records continuum contemporarily suitable. Preserving collective memory and providing access over time are main requirements. Structurism might lower the tense between structure and function.

Abstract

Efficiency and storage capacity are the main reasons for the social media users to use Facebook as their third party archival repository dan access provider towards their community archives. Two Kotagede cultural practicioners, Erwito Wibowo and Natsir Dabey, are aware for that potential. This article describes how cultural archiving at Kotagede Yogyakarta by preserving and providing access towardss their cultural activities at Facebook repository.

Abstract

In doing research of Indonesian historiography in the colonial period, primary sources in the form of colonial archives are important. That includes historiography of tourism in Indonesia. This article describes archival collection of the National Archives of Indonesia related to tourism in the colonial period of Indonesia and attempts to determine the related keywords. The results are information about the tourism activities was the history of the institution, namely Vereeniging Toeristenverkeer and the keywords that used, were 'Vereeniging toeristenverkeer' and 'toerisme'. The archival sources are mainly from the collection of Algemene Secretarie. There are many other collections, it is possible, considering that tourism activities are not only the concern of single institution. Tourism activities are also includes tourist attractions, infrastructure, transportation, accommodation and security.
