Abstract

Football is a popular sport that has many benefits, both physically, mentally, and socially. One of the basic skills in football is passing, which plays an important role in teamwork and the quality of the game. However, limited facilities, coaches, and structured training programs often hinder elementary school students in Indonesia from developing this skill. This community service activity aims to improve the passing ability of elementary school students through the "Football Passing Coaching Clinic Model" program implemented at SD Negeri 5 Kota Gorontalo. This program involved 30 students in grades 4 to 6 with an interactive approach, including introduction to theory, demonstration of techniques, individual and group training, and small game simulations. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in students' passing ability. As many as 70% of students managed to improve their passing accuracy in pair training with a distance of 5 meters, 50% of students were able to pass with the inside of the foot at a distance of 10 meters with better consistency, and 80% of students showed better ball control skills during small group training. Mini games held at the end of the session also showed improved teamwork and understanding of game strategy. Evaluation shows that this method is effective in training the basics of soccer while increasing students' motivation and self-confidence. This program is expected to be a model for developing soccer skills at the elementary school level, providing positive impacts on both technical abilities and character building of children. With integration into extracurricular activities, this program has the potential to be applied more widely and sustainably.

Abstract

The socialization of sports massage among students aims to improve their understanding and skills in maintaining body health, especially in physical activities and sports. This activity involves delivering theory, demonstrating techniques, and direct practice with the guidance of professional practitioners. This community service activity is important considering the high need for students for insight into fitness and physical recovery techniques, as well as the potential of sports massage as a business opportunity. Through this activity, students not only gain health benefits, but also the opportunity to develop skills that can be applied practically in everyday life or to support economic independence. The method of implementing the activity includes delivering theory about the basic concepts of sports massage, demonstrating techniques by professional practitioners, and direct practice that actively involves participants. Evaluation is carried out using pre-tests and post-tests to measure increased understanding, as well as direct observation during practice to assess mastery of techniques. The evaluation results show an increase in participants' understanding of the benefits and techniques of sports massage, as well as enthusiasm to practice it independently. However, there are suggestions to extend the duration of practice to deepen skills. With a comprehensive approach, this socialization is expected to have a positive impact on students, both individually and on the campus community.

Abstract

This community service program aims to support the implementation of Prapopnas in the boxing category held in Gorontalo by involving lecturers as referees and judges. The program was designed to address partner issues related to the lack of competent officials, which could undermine the quality and credibility of the competition. Through a continuous education approach and consultations, participating lecturers underwent intensive training to enhance their understanding of match regulations and decision-making. The outcomes indicate the successful execution of fair, sportsmanlike, and conflict-free matches. Success indicators include partner satisfaction levels, improved local committee competencies, and comprehensive activity documentation. Key supporting factors were the lecturers' competencies, effective coordination, and participants' enthusiasm. Challenges, such as limited facilities, were overcome through effective communication among stakeholders. This activity contributes to promoting the values of sportsmanship and professionalism in student-level sports achievements.

Abstract

One activity that supports individual health and social relationships is sports. Sports play an essential role in community life as they not only maintain physical fitness but also strengthen social bonds and create a sense of togetherness. There are some lesser-known sports, one of which is Petanque. The purpose of this initiative is to socialize and introduce the sport of Petanque in Hepulawa Village, increase community participation in sports activities, and develop Petanque playing skills. The stages of this initiative include preparation, implementation, and evaluation of the process and results. This activity was conducted at the Hepulawa Village Field, involving 50 participants from various age groups. The results showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge and skills in playing Petanque, with approximately 95% of participants able to explain the basics of the game and 40% mastering the basic techniques after one training session. The high level of enthusiasm and participation reflects a great interest in this sport and indicates that this activity successfully attracted the attention and active involvement of various community members. Additionally, this activity succeeded in strengthening social relations among village residents, creating a sense of togetherness, and reducing dependence on technology and gadgets. Therefore, Hepulawa Village is expected to become a pioneer in the development of Petanque in Limboto District and its surroundings.

Abstract

Sports activities are an important component in supporting children's physical, mental, and social development. Pickleball, a sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong, offers an interesting alternative to physical education in elementary schools. The socialization of pickleball at SDN 1 Tilango, Gorontalo Regency aims to introduce this sport to students and teachers through theory, practice, and game simulations. The activity method involves three stages: introduction to theory (cognitive domain), playing experience (affective domain), and real practice (psychomotor domain). The results showed an increase in students' understanding of the rules and basic techniques of pickleball, an increase in interest in sports, and the development of positive characters such as discipline, cooperation, and sportsmanship. This activity enriches students' insights into the variety of sports and provides a fun and useful experience. In addition, this program supports the national education goal of creating a healthy and characterful generation and contributes to the development of an inclusive sports culture in Indonesia.
