Abstract

Air conditioning has become essential in the modern era, with nearly everyone worldwide owning an air conditioner in their homes. Its presence is crucial given the increasingly hot weather conditions due to global warming. However, we often forget to turn off the air conditioner, resulting in energy waste and potential damage to the device. Therefore, this writing aims to address these issues through the development of an automatic system using Arduino Nano, programmed in the C language, to regulate the operation of the air conditioner based on room temperature. This way, users do not need to bother manually turning the air conditioner on or off using a remote control or buttons.

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) is an environment that incorporates 3D virtual objects into a real environment. AR allows users to interact in real time. One of the implementations or applications of Augmented Reality technology is the introduction of the main weapons system tool (ALUTSISTA) utilizing media markers using 3D objects. There are three territorial types in military vehicle equipment, namely vehicles on land, air and sea. The introduction of types of military vehicles utilizing augmented reality using 3D objects was built using the SkethUp application to create 3D objects, the Vuforia Library as a marker database and the Unity3D Engine to build augmented reality

Abstract

Large-scale and multi-area networks with quite a lot of routers are certainly very inconvenient if there is no appropriate routing protocol management. One of the reliable routing protocols for distributing routing with quite a lot of routers is the Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) protocol. However, there are 2 types of OSPF on IP version 4 and IP version 6, where on IP version 6 OSPF was developed into OSPF V3, making it difficult for network admins to determine which OSPF quality is better in routing protocols. Therefore, in this study, a comparison was made with the GNS3 simulation to determine the best routing protocol between OSPF IP version 4 and OSPF V3 IP version 6. especially the delay time for IPv4 496ms, IPv6 438ms and packet loss for IPv4 19.74% while IPv6 is 11.97%. Abstract

Cats are popular pets, but choosing the right food for them can be a challenge. Conventional cat food product sales catalogs may no longer be attractive enough for modern consumers who are used to advanced technology. Therefore, this study proposes the implementation of Augmented Reality (AR) in an Android-based cat food product sales catalog application. By using AR, consumers can see cat food products in real life and listen to product descriptions in voice form. The results of this study stated that 21 respondents strongly agreed with this application, with an approval rate of about 80%. This shows that the application is very useful in helping cat owners choose the appropriate food.

Abstract

In addition to the color representation contained in a digital image, the size of the image will also greatly affect the image processing process. In some cases of image acquisition, sometimes the size of the image obtained does not correspond to the desired one. Pattern recognition processes, such as vehicle license plate recognition, may result in incorrect output if the size of the processed input image is not appropriate. Therefore, determining the size of a digital image is very important in further image processing. To solve such problems can be done by enlarging the size of the image through the process of interpolation or resampling. Image magnification is the process of enlarging the size of a digital image from its original size to a new and different size based on the desired magnification scale. However, as a result of enlarging the image obtained there is always a blur, so the image will look like a checkerboard (split). This situation occurs because during the magnification process the resolution of the new image becomes lower. Thus, additional methods are needed to improve the image quality of the resampling results. This study aims to improve the low-resolution image quality of resampling results by applying Linear Interpolation and Geometric Mean Filter methods. The test results showed that the Linear Interpolation method was able to produce a new image that was larger than the original image and the Geometric Mean Filter method could improve the image quality of the enlarged image so that the details of the information in the image are better and clearly seen visually. And to find out if the image enlarged from the Linear Interpolation and Geometric Mean Filter is good or not, we will use the Mean Squared Error (MSE) and Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) methods. Abstract

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or in Indonesian called Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder is a psychiatric disorder that causes sufferers to have difficulty concentrating and have excessive activity or can't stay still compared to normal people. Many people are not yet aware that if a child's excessive behavior and low level of concentration could result in the child suffering from ADHD, Bayesian decision theory is a fundamental statistical approach in pattern recognition. This approach is based on quantifying the trade-offs between various classification decisions using the probability and costs involved. arising from these decisions. Bayes' theorem is a theory of probability conditions that calculates the probability of an event (hypothesis) which depends on other events (evidence). In this research, a web-based expert system was built with a knowledge base from 3 experts to make it easier for parents of children to diagnose possible symptoms. suffered by his son. The results of system testing on experts with an average percentage of 90% from 3 experts, show that the expert system that has been created is able to diagnose the type of ADHD behavior suffered by children along with the level of confidence in the diagnosis.

Abstract

Teachers are the initial milestone in the creation of a nation with quality young generation, both in the academic and non-academic fields. To determine or choose the best teacher, a decision support system for selecting the best teacher is made to appreciate the work performance that has been done while being a teaching staff, and is expected to increase motivation so that teachers can improve their performance. For this reason, a decision support system is needed that can analyze several teachers according to the existing teacher selection profile. The Profile Matching process is carried out to determine teacher recommendations in the Best Teacher Selection System based on 3 variables, namely intellectual aspects, work attitude aspects and general aspects. The result of the selection process is in the form of a teacher's final score as a recommendation for decision makers to choose the right teacher in the selection of the best teacher.

Abstract

Gardening and farming are the activities of planting and caring for plants for a specific purpose, such as to produce food, flowers, or medicinal plants. Gardening and farming are usually done in gardens, parks, or farmland. In gardening and farming, we need to understand various aspects, such as the type of plants to be planted, land preparation, planting techniques, plant maintenance, and also how to overcome problems that arise during the plant growth process. Indonesia has a fairly extensive greening program, there are still several problems related to greening in Indonesia, including: Lack of consistency in the implementation of greening programs, Lack of community support and understanding of the importance of greening, and others. This 3D animated video tutorial on farming organic, non-organic, and hydroponic plants with this rigging method is one effective way to provide information and education to the public about how to grow crops and gardening correctly and efficiently. The rigging method used in making this video allows the characters in the animation to move and interact naturally, so that the tutorial presented looks more lively and interesting. Basically, this animation video processing uses the Unity 3D application, and supporting applications such as Blender and SketchFab to obtain some of the assets needed. The result of the animated video created is in the form of a .mp4 file that can be played on various devices. Based on the test results that have been obtained, this animated video is very helpful for children and the community in farming and gardening.

Abstract

Prayer is the second pillar of Islam and it is the pillar that is emphasized most after the two sentences of the shahada. Prayer is the connection between a servant and his Lord. Prayers are of two types, namely prayers of worship and prayers of supplication. Allah's closeness to His servants is divided into two types, namely; the closeness of His knowledge to every creature and the closeness to His servants in giving them every request, help and taufik. Learning prayer movements and prayers should be taught from an early age (children). Guidance from parents and teachers is the most important way to provide learning media. So far, conventional learning in the form of books makes children bored, so creativity or interactive learning methods are needed, one of which is multimedia-based learning.

Abstract

Cucumber is a vegetable that is widely consumed by Indonesian people. However, cucumber plants are susceptible to disease attack which causes substantial yield loss. Examples of disease in cucumber plants are downy mildew, powdery mildew, and cucumber mozaic virus. This disease can be recognized visually because it has a characteristic color and texture. Through an image, information can be learned about the cucumber plant disease. This study aims to build a disease classification system on cucumber leaf images so that it can provide information on the type of disease. The application of the system consisting of pre-processing, feature extraction, classification, and evaluation stages. The pre-processing stages resizes the RGB image and then converts it to Grayscale. The feature extraction stage uses the GLCM (Gray Level Co-Occurence) method. The classification stage uses the K-NN (K-Nearest Neighbor) algorithm. Evaluation stage is a confusion matrix. The results of the cucumber leaf disease classification test used the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm, produced the best accuracy value by using the neighborhood value k=1 reaching 90%.
