Abstract

Genealogy or commonly called Tarombo by Batak people is a lineage that has become customary for people to know genealogy or kinship relationships. . However, this custom has begun to disappear from the Batak people because of the hard-to-find family data, the expanding genealogy, and the few people who know the genealogy. The lineage is called Tarombo. These things make Tarombo lose its appeal and become the background of this research. The purpose of this study is to build an application system that will become a medium for users, especially the Toba Batak ethnicity, to be able to have, create or continue family genealogies and make it easier for us to find genealogies or Tarombo clans and families. This application is designed using Adobe Flash CS6 which has a pretty good performance. The system development method used in system development is the literature study method, which collects supporting data related to research such as from social media, websites or other sources. Based on the test results, the genealogy application is running successfully on the Windows 10 operating system. This study resulted in an application with the main function as a medium that requires information about the genealogy of the Batak clan, especially the Sinambela clan and provides the desired convenience and speed.

Abstract

The mahram used by the people is taken from Arabic. Mahram is a woman or a man who is still a close relative so it is not permissible to marry between the two. Mahram relationships can occur for three reasons, namely heredity, breastfeeding, and marital relations. Mahram can be sourced from the verses of the Qur'an and Al-Hadith. However, nowadays there are still many people who do not know which is mahram or not. The purpose of this study is to build an application system that will be a medium for users, especially Muslims to know the mahram and make it easier for us to know the mahram of the family. This application is designed using Adobe Flash CS6 which has a pretty good performance. The system development method used is the literature study method, which collects supporting data related to research such as from social media, websites or other sources. Based on the test results, the genealogy application is running successfully on the Windows 10 operating system. This research produces an application with the main function as a medium that requires information about mahram in Islam and provides the desired convenience and speed.

Abstract

Website security is often ignored by developers, including small websites or company profile websites that have data that may be stolen by irresponsible parties. Self-test is needed in order to find out security holes that might be attacked. Therefore, a vulnerability assessment is needed to find security holes. Vulnerability Assessment (VA) is a system scanning process to find vulnerabilities and loopholes in a website system, this loophole provides a backdoor for attackers to attack the victim's system. Owasp-zap is an application that can look for a security hole in the website system, after information about the vulnerability is obtained, the developer can make changes or add scripts to a system so that security holes can be overcome in order to maintain data integrity from attacks by irresponsible parties.

Abstract

The massive development of the animation world since the 2000s shows that local animation has not been able to compete with the existence of foreign animation. The development of information technology encourages the birth of promotional media that are increasingly attractive, creative, and innovative, such as promotional media in the form of animation. This research was conducted by designing an animated promotional video for hotels and resorts. In making animated promotional videos for Rudang Hotels and Resorts using the Adobe Animate application, researchers used UML (Unified Modeling Language), namely use case diagrams and activity diagrams. In designing animation there are 3 stages that must be done, namely the Pre-Production Stage, Production Stage and Post-Production Stage. Animated advertisements about Rudang Hotels and Resorts using Adobe Animate software and made into 2-dimensional animation. The design of promotional advertisements about Rudang Hotels and Resorts consists of text, studio, animation, and sound designs to invite the public to know more about Hotels and Resorts. With this promotional advertisement, it is hoped that hotels and resorts will benefit by attracting public attention. As a recommendation, for readers, I hope this thesis can be a reference for the design of promotional advertisements. This thesis includes the design and analysis of systems for making promotional advertisements. Rudang Hotels and Resorts can take advantage of this promotional advertisement as well as possible.

Abstract

The increase in the number of new car releases coupled with the increasingly massive advertisements about the latest cars in the city of Medan, makes consumers or the public more interested and encouraged to be able to exchange (sell) their cars and replace them with the latest cars, so this creates used cars that are still suitable for use to be re-sold and bought to other consumers so that it makes the marketing of used cars very large. This is proven by the large number of requests for used car purchases in the city of Medan to meet their needs for four-wheeled vehicles. Used vehicles, especially 4-wheeled vehicles, have varying prices and are always different from one seller to another, which causes confusion for buyers about used car prices. To overcome this problem, the authors use data mining techniques to predict used vehicles, especially 4-wheeled vehicles. The results applied are make predictions using the gradient boosting algorithm and the linear regression algorithm which produces used car predictions.

Abstract

CV. Medan which is located at Jalan Asia Mega Mas Blok BB No. 6, the second in the city of Yogyakarta. This company has its own product brands, namely Xidol and Eko. This company has many employees so that the performance of the company's employees must be measured properly, measuring employee performance is very important for future evaluation and planning. Evaluation of employee performance absolutely must be done to determine the achievements to be achieved by each employee. If the employee succeeds in achieving the desired target, can create a conducive atmosphere, and can satisfy all parties involved, then the employee can get a proper reward. For this reason, it is necessary to process employee appraisal data which can help make it easier for a superior to make a decision related to selecting an exemplary employee by using the Simple Addtive Weighting (SAW) method in order to be time efficient in selecting exemplary employees.

Abstract

Path search is closely related to distance with searching at a location or place in a mapping in a search many heuristic algorithms are used. One of the algorithms used to determine the closest path is the floyd warshal algorithm which applies a heuristic function so that it will provide the most effective path search results. The problem that arises when the general public wants to find the nearest hospital is that there is no information that can be used as a medium that can determine the nearest hospital, therefore this study will apply the floyd warsahll algorithm with a distance formula that can be used to determine the best path or the closest distance To reach the nearest hospital, one of the distance formulas is the Euclidean Distance formula which is a calculation of the distance from 2 points in the Euclidean Distance space. the overall result of the calculation between the starting point or starting point with the end point or end node in the current case the starting point is at Permata Bunda Hospital which is assumed to be the starting point and ending point, namely the Madani Hospital. The results show that for a civil hospital the closest distance is 0.88 km which passes through nodes 2,3, and 4.

Abstract

The development of technology in the current era of globalization is moving very rapidly and the information circulating is increasingly complex so that the world of education must be able to follow the development of special technology in the field of computer technology, along with current technological developments. SMK Asga Mandiri is an educational institution in charge of handling activities related to education, the main purpose of which we know to educate the nation's life. The operator of SMK Asga Mandiri to manage student data, department data, teacher data, and alumni data is still manual and data storage is still compiled manually such as archives or documents. Data that could manually result in loss, damage, or burning. Therefore, this web-based student data management information system is considered very necessary to provide convenience to the special school SMK Asga Mandiri. Based on the background above, the researcher proposed the title "Web-Based Student Data Management Information System at SMK Asga Mandiri Using the Waterfall Method. The system will be created using PHP programming language and using a Mysql database that can make it easier for staff to manage data and principals in obtaining the information needed, which is of high quality and can help in the decision-making process.
