Abstract

Background: Indonesia's demographic bonus provides an opportunity to expand digital waqf participation among Millennials and Generation Z through the Satuwakaf Indonesia application. Therefore, there are urgencies to analyse the behavior and preferences of Digital Waqf among Indonesian Youth. Method: This study employed a quantitative approach within a sequential explanatory mixed-method design. Data from 428 respondents were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), Multi-Group Analysis (PLS-SEM MGA), and robustness testing. Results: Attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, outcome satisfaction, expectation, and altruism significantly influenced digital waqf intention, whereas process satisfaction did not significantly affect expectation. Altruism also strengthened the relationships between TPB constructs and behavioral intention. Multi-group analysis indicated that the structural model was generally consistent across Millennials and Generation Z, with a significant difference only in the relationship between outcome satisfaction and expectation. Conclusion: Integrating TPB, ETAM, and altruism provides a comprehensive framework for explaining digital waqf adoption and offers practical guidance for improving digital waqf platforms and increasing youth participation.
