Abstract

Abstract : Immunization is an attempt to provide immunity to infants and children by entering the vaccine into the body to make the body anti-substance to prevent certain diseases. The purpose of immunization is to stimulate the body's immunological system to form a specific antibody so as to protect the body from the attack that can be prevented by immunization (PD3I). Factors causing no UCI include Drop Out immunization occurrence, such as lack of knowledge of mother about immunization, pamong involvement in motivating mother. Pentabio post-immunization (KIPI) incident became one of the factors that did not reach UCI Coverage. The purpose of this study was to know the difference of KIPI in giving paracetamol before and after Pentabio immunization. Comparative Analytic Research Design with Prospective approach, with the population of 86 babies aged 2,3,4 months, Sampling using Simple Random Sampling technique with the number of samples as much as 70 respondents of baby age 2,3,4 months that fulfill inclusion criteria. The research instrument uses Kuisuener which contains general data and special data. The results of this study using Chi Square formula which shows that there are differences in KIPI on administration of paracetamol before and after immunization Pentabio. Based on the results of the above study, should be a reference for health workers to apply paracetamol 30 minutes before immunization pentabio

Abstract

Memory is a person's ability to recall information that has been learned and stored in the brain. Measures to prevent / reduce memory impairment is to provide Brain Exercise Therapy. The brain exercise movement itself is a movement to stimulate the right and left brain, stimulating the system associated with feelings / emotional. Other benefits of brain gym (brain gym) are to improve language skills, creativity, and the elderly feel healthier and improve memory. The purpose of this study was to determine changes in memory and identify memory disorders in the elderly after being given brain exercise therapy in Soekarno Village, Jember Regency. This study used a pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test design. The population is 45 respondents and the sample is 40 respondents. The sample technique used is simple random sampling. The results of the study before given brain exercise therapy, amounting to 23% experienced severe memory impairment, 30% moderate memory impairment, 47% mild memory impairment, 0% no memory impairment. After treatment, 2% experienced severe memory impairment, 18% moderate memory impairment, 57% mild memory impairment, 8% no memory disturbance. Results of data analysis using Wilcoxon signed rank test with alpha (a) of 0.05 obtained, 0,000 <a 0.05, which means there is a change in memory disorders in the elderly after being given brain exercise therapy. This therapy is very easy to do so the individual is expected to be applied by the elderly according to the correct procedure

Abstract

Sleep for babies is a top priority, because when sleeping in infants growth and development of the baby is optimal. 80% of infants find it difficult to sleep at night, often wake up more than 1 hour at night, sleep at night less than 9 hours, total sleep less than 13 hours / day, and only 20% have normal hours of sleep with an average of 14 hours / day. Considering the importance of sleep time for babies, sleep needs must be met, one of the methods used is by infant massage. This research was conducted to determine the effect of infant massage on the quantity of infant sleep. The research method uses pre-experimental design with one group pretest posttest design. The population in this study were infants aged 3-6 months in the Village of Bedadung, Sumbersari District, Jember Regency with a total of 25 infants. The sample in this study were 23 infants, with the sampling technique used was simple random sampling. Data analysis used paired sample t-test, with a confidence level of 95% (α <0.05). The results showed that babies who were massaged 3 times / week in 1 week, the average quantity of sleep babies before doing baby massage was 12.52 hours / day, the average quantity of baby sleep after baby massage was 14.43 hours / day, with a p value of 0,000 <(α = 0.05) then Ha is accepted, there is the effect of infant massage on the quantity of sleep of infants aged 3-6 months in Bedadung Village, Sumbersari District, Jember Regency. It is recommended for mothers to still apply baby massage in accordance with the techniques that have been taught and to continue to do baby massage independently to meet their baby's sleep needs

Abstract

In DM which is a chronic disease and requires long-term therapy, the use of OAD should not be interrupted to maintain the stability of glucose levels in the blood and prevent complications. Family support is very influential on increasing patient self-esteem because with family support, patients will feel cared for, loved, valued by the family, more sincere and positive in accepting disease conditions that affect their self-esteem so that healing and treatment will be better. The purpose of this study was to analyze factors related to compliance with the use of anti-diabetes drugs in people with diabetes mellitus in the Ampel Sehat Clinic, Wirolegi Jember. The research design used in this study is analytic correlation using a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were all patients with diabetes mellitus who treated 70 people. The sample in this study were 41 people with Non Probability sampling or accidental sampling technique. Measuring instrument used by the questionnaire. The results of data analysis, the level of knowledge about the use of anti-diabetes mellitus drugs most of the categories either by 23 or 56.10%, medium categories and less as much as 18 or 42.90%. Respondents' family support for the use of anti-diabetic drugs in good category is 20 people or 48.8%. Respondents' level of adherence to the use of anti-diabetes drugs was 22 or 53.7%, followed by 12 or 29.30% less adherents and 7 or 17.00% non-adherents. Statistical test results with the Sparman test obtained p value 0,000 or <α (0.05). This proves that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted and it can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge and family support for the compliance of drug use in patients with diabetes mellitus in the Ampel Sehat Clinic, Wirolegi Jember 2016. It is recommended that DM sufferers comply with the use of drugs.

Abstract

School-age children are affected by a variety of snacks that are sold both at school and outside school. In the case of choosing snacks, children still pay less attention to safety and hygiene, due to lack of knowledge about snacks that are safe for consumption. Based on BPOM in Jember 2015, it was recorded that almost 90% of school children 's snacks contained dangerous substances such as borax (food thickeners), formalin (preservatives), and coloring agents. This study aims to determine the effect of counseling with audio visual media on the attitude of choosing healthy snacks for school-age children (9-10) years at SDN Gunungsari 02 Umbulsari, Jember Regency. The research design used was one group pre-test - post test with a quasy-experimental approach. The population in this study is school age children (9-10) years. A total of 28 school-age children (9-10) years were taken in total sampling. Data analysis using Chi Square Test. The results of this study indicate that students who have a favorable attitude (78.5%) and have an unfavorable attitude (21.5%). The results of the analysis obtained values ​​based on the Chi Square test obtained p value = 0.024 <α 0.05 means that there is an influence of health education with audio visual media on the attitude of choosing healthy snacks for school-age children (9-10) years at SDN Gunungsari 02 Umbulsari Jember Regency . Based on these results the school should provide health education to children by using health education

Abstract

Nurses are responsible professionals and are authorized to provide nursing independently or collaborate with other health professionals, being a nurse having complex tasks and nurses in direct contact with patients. This study aims to determine the relationship between burnout and self-efficacy in nurses in Taman krocok Puskesmas Bondowoso Regency. The design of this study uses the correlation design using a cross sectional survey method number of samples 10 sampling techniques total sampling Data collection tools using a closed questionnaire. Spearman Rho Chorrelation statistical test with significance level p <0.05 where Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The results showed that a high burnout rate was 40%, a moderate burnout rate was 20%, low self efficacy was 40% and self efficacy was less than 20%. Spearman Rho Chorrelation statistical test produced a correlation coefficient r = -980 with a significance value of p = .000. These results indicate there is a relationship between burnout with self efficacy in nurses in Taman Krocok Health Center, Taman Krocok District, Bondowoso Regency. It is expected that from this study nurses increase self-efficacy so they do not experience burnout

Abstract

The process of aging in humans occurs changes throughout the system in the body one of which cardiovascular system whose manifestations are hypertension. Hypetension is a chronic condition in which blood pressure in artery walls (clean blood vessels) increases. Treatment of hypertension can be done by non-pharmacological means of electric massage therapy. This study aims to determine changes in blood pressure in hypertensive elderly based on an electric foot reflexology massage tool at Tresna Werdha Jember Social Home. The design of this study was quasy one group pretest posttest experiment. Population 32 elderly with samples using total sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was an electric massage tool using an observation checklist, while to measure blood pressure, researchers used a sphygmomanometer. Paired t-test statistical test with a significance level a <0.05, the results of the study showed a reduced systolic and diastolic mean. There is a change in blood pressure before and after an electric massage is given for a better decrease in pressure changes. For nursing staff this method can be used as a treatment for high blood pressure with more precise supervision

Abstract

Nurses are human resources who participate in coloring health services in hospitals, because in addition to the dominant number, it is also a profession that provides constant and continuous service for 24 hours to patients every day. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between work motivation and nurse performance at the Tegal Ampel Health Center in Bondowoso Regency. This type of research used in this study is correlation analytic research using a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study was 42 respondents. Samples taken were 38 respondents. The results of this study were analyzed using the Spearman Rank. The results of this study are two variables obtained p value of 0.00 (p <a 0.01) which indicates that Ho is rejected, which means there is a significant relationship between Work Motivation and Nurse Performance in the Work Area Tegal Ampel Health Center, Bondowoso Regency. From this research it is expected that the leader can further increase the motivation of nurses in working by giving rewards and it is hoped that nurses can maintain performance in carrying out their duties.

Abstract

Diabetic ulcers are the most feared complication of diabetes mellitus patients because the reduced blood supply to the tissue causes tissue death and is aggravated by bacterial infections that can cause amputation and even have wide impact because it can cause death, morbidity, increased treatment costs, and decreased quality of life. The incidence of foot ulcers in patients with diabetes mellitus is 1-4% and 10-30 times as much as foot ulcers causing the risk of amputation (toe, foot or lower leg). It is estimated that every year one million patients suffering from diabetic ulcers undergo amputation of the lower limb (85%) and a mortality rate of 15-40% annually and 39-80% every 5 years. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of diabetic ulcers in diabetics with body image at the Umbulsari Health Center. The research design used was analytic survey with coss sectional design. The sample in this study was taken by Probability Sample with a type of Consecutive Sampling that is a diabetic ulcer sufferer who performs an examination at Puskesmas Ambsari. This research was conducted by observing / observing the degree of injury for diabetic ulcers and questionnaire sheets for body image. The results of this study were analyzed using the statistical test Spearman rank test. The results of the analysis showed that first-degree injuries were 22 respondents (55%), second-degree injuries were 17 respondents (42.5%), and third-degree injuries were 1 respondent (2.5%). While the results of body image in people with diabetes mellitus as many as 13 respondents (32.5%) had a negative body image, while 27 respondents (67.5%) had a positive body image. The results of the analysis of the two variables obtained by the value of p value Sig. (two tailed) of 0.023 α α (0.05) which indicates that there is a relationship between diabetic ulcers in diabetics with the body image of the Umbulsari Health Center

Abstract

The increasing number of elderly causes problems, especially in terms of health and well-being of the elderly. The existence of the disease affects the condition of one's physical health which is one aspect that determines the quality of one's life. The disease that often affects the elderly is hyperuricemia and hypertension. The purpose of this study is to determine the close relationship between hyperuricemia and the incidence of hypertension in the elderly. The research design used was Observational Analytic with cross sectional approach. The sample amounted to 58 with sampling using random sampling techniques. Data collection method uses uris acid meter and sphygmomanometer then data is analyzed using Chi Square statistical test with Contingency Coefficient. The results of the analysis are the majority of respondents who have hyperuricemia with hypertension (73%), who have hyperuricemia but do not have hypertension (27%), who do not have hyperuricemia but have hypertension (23.8%), and who do not experience hyperuricemia and do not experience hypertension as much (76.2%) The results of the analysis of the two veriabels obtained p value = 0.001, cc = 0.529, and OR = 8.640. The conclusion in this study is that there is a fairly close relationship between hyperuricemia with the incidence of hypertension in the elderly at UPT PSTW Bondowoso. Suggestions for health workers should increase the intensity of providing health education to the elderly through counseling, as well as checking for uric acid and blood pressure regularly
