Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Regional Wealth, Revenue Sharing Funds (Dana Perimbangan), and Regional Expenditures on the Financial Performance of Local Governments in Regencies/Cities within South Sumatra Province. This research adopts a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from the budget realization reports (APBD) of 17 regencies/cities during the period from 2020 to 2023. The population in this study includes all local governments in South Sumatra Province, and the sampling technique used is a saturated sample, in which all members of the population are used as the research sample. The analytical method employed is multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The results of the study indicate that Regional Wealth has a positive and significant effect on Local Government Financial Performance, while Revenue Sharing Funds have a negative and significant effect. Meanwhile, Regional Expenditures do not have a significant influence on Financial Performance. Simultaneously, all three independent variables significantly influence the Financial Performance of Local Governments. These findings suggest that optimizing Local Own-Source Revenue and managing transfer funds and regional expenditures efficiently are key factors in improving fiscal performance at the regional level.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the financial performance of conventional and digital banks in Indonesia during the 2021–2024 period, covering the Covid-19 pandemic and the post-pandemic transition. The analysis method used is CAMEL (Capital, Asset Quality, Management, Earnings, and Liquidity) with indicators including Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non-Performing Loan (NPL), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Assets (ROA), Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO), and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR). This research employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive comparative method involving six sample banks, consisting of three conventional banks and three digital banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used are annual financial reports published during the research period. The findings indicate significant differences in several financial ratios, particularly CAR and NPL, between conventional and digital banks. In general, digital banks have higher capital ratios and lower NPLs, while conventional banks show more stable performance in profitability and operational efficiency ratios. These results can serve as a reference for banks and stakeholders in formulating post-pandemic business strategies.

The research focuses on two main indicators: system quality and information quality. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the SIPD-RI system quality still faces challenges, such as technical issues (errors, timeouts), suboptimal integration, and limitations in certain modules. Meanwhile, the information quality is considered relevant and accurate, although some data remain incomplete and face delays in presentation. These results are expected to provide input for local governments and system developers to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and user satisfaction in utilizing SIPD-RI.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has influenced the financial behavior patterns of society. Although financial information is easily accessible, many individuals still face challenges in making wise investment decisions and achieving stable financial well-being. This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy and mental budgeting on financial well-being with investment decision making as a mediating variable. The sample of this research is 130 Generation Z investors in Yogyakarta. The sampling in this study used purposive sampling techniques with several criteria. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed through the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach with Smart PLS 4.0 software. The instrument testing included validity and reliability tests. Hypothesis testing results show that financial literacy and mental budgeting have a positive effect on financial well-being, both directly and indirectly through investment decision making. Moreover, investment decision making is proven to be a significant mediator in the relationship between financial literacy and mental budgeting toward financial well-being. These findings support the theory of planned behavior framework, which states that attitudes, perceived behavioral control, and individual intentions play an important role in shaping financial behavior oriented toward well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the ALADIN Priority Program (roof, floor, and wall repairs) in improving the welfare of the community in Sitiaji Village, Sukosewu District, Bojonegoro Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, with effectiveness indicators referring to Subagyo's theory, namely targeting accuracy, program socialization, achievement of program objectives, and program monitoring. The results show that the ALADIN program has been implemented effectively. Targeting accuracy was achieved well because the beneficiaries truly come from communities in need. Socialization went quite well, although there were still some obstacles in the reach of information. The program's objectives were achieved by improving the quality of houses, that have an impact on increasing the comfort and dignity of residents' lives. Program monitoring is also carried out systematically and periodically by the village government together with the technical team. Thus, the implementation of the ALADIN program is considered capable of making a real contribution to improving the welfare of the Sitiaji Village community.
