Abstract

This research aims to examine the roles of future time perspective and emotional intelligence in influencing the career maturity of students from universities in Yogyakarta. The study used 100 samples collected through questionnaires. The data were processed using confirmatory factor analysis with SPSS version 25 software. The analysis results show that future time perspective and emotional intelligence have a positive effect on students' career maturity, both partially and simultaneously. These findings indicate that students who have a clear outlook on the future and good emotional management skills tend to be better prepared to plan and make decisions regarding their careers. This research contributes theoretically by reinforcing the conceptual model connecting individual psychological factors with career readiness. Practically, this result can serve as a follow-up plan for the university to enhance the effectiveness of career guidance and counseling programs, focusing on the development of students' future time perspective and emotional intelligence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership, competence, and job rotation on the performance of the Youth and Sports Office (Dispora) of Berau Regency with planning quality as an intervening variable. The phenomenon of frequent job rotation in local government raises questions about organizational performance effectiveness. This research uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The research population consists of all employees of Berau Regency Dispora, totaling 87 people, with a sample of 72 respondents using the purposive sampling technique. Data collection used a questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 24.0 software. The results indicate that leadership has a significant positive effect on planning quality (β=0.342, p<0.05), competence has a significant positive effect on planning quality (β=0.389, p<0.05), but job rotation has a significant negative effect on planning quality (β=-0.273, p<0.05). Planning quality is proven to have a significant positive effect on organizational performance (β=0.654, p<0.01). Planning quality mediates the influence of leadership and competence on performance but does not mediate the influence of job rotation on performance. This research contributes to the development of public sector human resource management theory and provides policy recommendations for optimizing local government organizational performance.

Abstract

The rapid growth of Indonesia’s cosmetic industry has heightened attention to halal aspects, particularly among Muslim Generation Z who are active in digital platforms. This study examines the influence of halal image, religiosity, and halal lifestyle on cosmetic purchase preference, with social media as a moderating variable. A quantitative survey using a Likert-scale questionnaire was distributed to respondents aged 18–27 years in South Tangerang City, and data were analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS. Results indicate that social media plays a dominant descriptive role but is not statistically significant as a moderator, while halal image, religiosity, and halal lifestyle show no significant effect on purchase preference. These findings suggest the need for developing new constructs that better capture the digital consumption behavior of Generation Z.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of leverage, sales growth, CSR, and profitability on tax avoidance in Primary Consumer Goods companies in the Agricultural Food Products, Beverages, and Primary Goods Retail Trade industries listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2020-2023. Tax avoidance is an effort by a company to minimize its tax burden legally. The variables were measured using the following methods: tax avoidance was proxied using the Effective Tax Rate (ETR) ratio, leverage was measured using the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), sales growth was calculated using the annual revenue growth ratio, CSR was measured based on the number of disclosures compared to 66 indicators in accordance with POJK, while profitability was proxied using Return on Assets (ROA). This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. Data were obtained from the companies' annual financial reports and processed using E-Views software. The results show that leverage and profitability affect tax avoidance, while sales growth and CSR do not affect tax avoidance. These findings indicate that the higher a company's leverage and ROA, the greater its tendency to engage in tax avoidance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the UTAUT model on the intention to use QRIS in distributing infaq with the addition of altruism and religiosity variables. The sample of this study was Generation Z in Central Java. The number of samples used in this study was 345 respondents. The data analysis technique used SEM PLS. The results showed that performance expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, and altruism influenced the intention to use QRIS in distributing infaq. However, effort expectancy and religiosity did not influence. The implication of this study is that infaq management institutions and mosques need to create QR Codes to facilitate the community in donating infaq.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the efficiency of the Indonesian capital market regarding the management board announcement of Badan Pengelola Investasi Daya Anagata Nusantara (BPI Danantara) on March 24, 2025. Using an event study method with the integration of market model and Markov Switching Regression (MSR) to overcome estimation bias due to confounding events, the research analyzes 15 state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in the IDXBUMN20 index during a 6-day period (2 days before to 3 days after the announcement). The variables measured are abnormal return and trading volume activity. The research findings reveal that the BPI Danantara management board announcement contains valuable information, as evidenced by significant abnormal returns on the announcement day (t0), the first (t+1) and second (t+2) days after the announcement, supporting semi-strong form market efficiency. There is a significant difference in abnormal returns before and after the announcement, and the market perceives the announcement as good news, as evidenced by a change from negative value of average abnormal return (-0.021174) before the announcement to positive (0.063311) after the announcement. The BPI Danantara management board announcement statistically does not affect stock trading volume activity from before to after the announcement.

Abstract

Net Asset Value (NAV) of sharia mutual funds is an indicator of sharia mutual fund growth. This study analyzes the influence of macroeconomic variables, namely inflation, exchange rates, Bank Indonesia interest rates (BI rate), and money supply, on the Net Asset Value (NAV) of sharia mutual funds in Indonesia from January 2018 to September 2024. This study uses time series data and the Partial Adjustment Model (PAM) method in multiple linear regression analysis. The selection of PAM is based on the assumption that the adjustment of NAV to changes in macroeconomic variables is gradual towards long-term equilibrium. The results show that inflation, exchange rates, and money supply significantly affect the NAV of sharia mutual funds. Inflation and exchange rates show a negative influence, while the money supply has a positive influence. Exchange rate stability and controlled inflation are crucial for NAV growth. Conversely, increased liquidity, indicated by a larger money supply, can stimulate investment in sharia mutual funds. The BI rate does not show a significant influence on NAV influence investment decisions in the sharia capital market. These findings have important implications for regulators and market players to maintain macroeconomic stability to support the sustainable growth of the sharia mutual fund sector in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of chatbot marketing quality on customer stickiness with social presence, perceived warmth, and rapport as intervening variables, in e-commerce chatbot services in Indonesia. In this context, the quality of chatbot marketing is seen as a key factor that can shape customer attachment, both directly and through social and emotional perceptions during interactions. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method that was distributed online to 250 respondents who had used chatbot services on e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, TikTok Shop, Tokopedia, Lazada and Zalora. The sampling technique was carried out using the purposive sampling method, while the data analysis was carried out using the SEM-PLS method with the help of SmartPLS software version 3.0. The results of the study show that chatbot marketing quality has a positive and significant effect on social presence, perceived warmth, and rapport, which then has a positive impact on customer stickiness. These three intervening variables have also been shown to mediate the relationship between chatbot quality and customer attachment. These findings imply that the development of quality chatbots not only improves service efficiency, but can also build a more humane and enjoyable interaction experience, which ultimately strengthens customer loyalty to e-commerce platforms. This research is expected to be a reference in the development of digital technology-based marketing strategies in the e-commerce sector.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors causing pending BPJS Kesehatan inpatient claims at Efarina Hospital, Pangkalan Kerinci, Riau, in 2024. Pending claims are a significant obstacle in the hospital financing system because they impact cash flow, service efficiency, and operational sustainability. The study used a mixed method (quantitative and qualitative) design. The research sample consisted of 1,278 pending inpatient claim files and interviews using the matrix triangulation technique, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) related to the claims process. Data were collected through document review, in-depth interviews, and observation of the administrative process. The results showed that the dominant factors causing pending claims were incomplete medical resumes (56.73%), inaccurate coding (34.66%), and incomplete claim files (8.61%). The impact of pending claims was quite significant, namely delays in receiving payments from BPJS Kesehatan and increased hospital operational costs. This study recommends strengthening the claims management system through improving the accuracy of medical records, regular training, optimizing information technology, and stricter internal supervision. In conclusion, improvement efforts focused on human resources, administration, and digital systems are crucial for reducing the number of pending claims, enabling hospitals to improve efficiency, regulatory compliance, and the quality of healthcare services.
