Abstract

This research is conducted to find out the attitude differences of conventional producer and moslem producer on various economic cases. The method used is a qualitative method with primary and secondary data collected through literature review and analyzed using a comparative method. The results found that since the source of knowledge of the two producers are different, both have many different attitudes on various economic cases; such as (1) According to conventional producer, the true meaning of profit is profit in the material sense, while according to moslem producer, the true meaning of profit is profit in the material and immaterial sense (2) Conventional producer will tend to follow all market demands, while moslem producer will only follow market demands that are in line with the values ​​of wahyu (3) In the perspective of conventional producer, the principle of implementing CSR activities is because it is required by laws and regulations as well as rational awareness to create a conducive corporate environment to maximize material profit, , while from the perspective of moslem producer, the principle of implementing CSR activities is not only because it is required by laws and regulations but more than that because those social responsibility activities are ordered by Allah SWT as well as the rational-islamic awareness that creating a conducive corporate environment can maximize two profits at once, namely material and immaterial profits (4) Conventional producer will create products that can increase consumer utility, while moslem producer will create products that can maximize consumer maslahah.

Abstract

The increasing intensity of competition among companies compels organizations to retain high-quality employees to sustain performance and competitiveness. Nevertheless, employee retention remains a critical issue influenced by internal factors, including employer branding, career development, and job satisfaction. This study aims to examine the effects of employer branding and career development on employee retention, as well as to analyze their influence on job satisfaction and the mediating role of job satisfaction in these relationships. A quantitative approach was employed using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to employees and analyzed using a bootstrapping technique with a significance level of 10% (α = 0.10). The findings reveal that employer branding significantly affects both employee retention and job satisfaction, while career development significantly influences job satisfaction but does not directly impact employee retention. Moreover, job satisfaction significantly affects employee retention and mediates the relationship between career development and employee retention, but not between employer branding and employee retention.

Abstract

In the current development of the manufacturing industry, competition among companies has become increasingly intense, requiring organizations to encourage employee behaviors that go beyond formal job requirements, such as organizational citizenship behavior. This study aims to fill the knowledge gap regarding the influence of transformational leadership and quality of work life on organizational citizenship behavior with organizational commitment among employees of manufacturing companies in Tangerang. Data were collected through an online questionnaire in December 2025. The study employed LISREL analysis with a sample of 155 respondents selected using purposive sampling. The results indicate that quality of work life has a positive effect on organizational commitment. Transformational leadership positively affects both quality of work life and organizational citizenship behavior. Organizational commitment also positively influences organizational citizenship behavior. However, transformational leadership does not positively affect organizational commitment, and quality of work life does not positively affect organizational citizenship behavior. This study provides theoretical and practical contributions to human resource management, particularly regarding the role of transformational leadership, quality of work life, and organizational commitment in enhancing organizational citizenship behavior. Future research is expected to further examine extra-role behavior and its implications for organizational outcomes.

Abstract

The decline in financial performance of a number of companies has highlighted the importance of examining governance and social responsibility factors that could potentially impact financial performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) mechanisms, environmental performance, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) disclosure on corporate financial performance. The study was conducted on companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the Basic Chemical, IT & Service Consulting, Personal Care Products, Real Estate Development & Management, and Software subsectors from 2022 to 2024. This study employed a quantitative approach with secondary data obtained from the companies' annual reports and financial statements. The analysis technique used was multiple linear regression to examine the influence of the number of board members, board members, audit committee members, environmental performance, and CSR disclosure on financial performance. The results showed that GCG mechanisms, proxied by the number of board members and board members, had no significant effect on financial performance, while the audit committee had a positive effect. Environmental performance and CSR disclosure did not significantly influence financial performance.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain results from the influence of leadership and work environment on the performance of health services at the Buli Community Health Center, East Halmahera. This study is a quantitative study. The population in this study were all health workers and employees at the Buli Community Health Center, totaling 92 people. The sampling technique used a saturated sampling method (total sampling), so that the entire population was used as a research sample. The data analysis technique used in this study was path modeling analysis using IBM spps statistics 21 for windows as a statistical test tool. The results of this study indicate that: (1) leadership has a positive and significant effect on the performance of health services, (2) the work environment has a positive and significant effect on the performance of health services, and (3) leadership and work environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the performance of health services at the Buli Community Health Center (East Halmahera).

Abstract

This study seeks to examine the role of intellectual capital in the competitive advantage of culinary MSMEs in Semarang City, with a focus on managerial capability, market knowledge competence, and innovation capability. This study takes a quantitative approach, surveying 156 culinary MSMEs in Semarang City. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and the SPSS application. The findings indicate that managerial competencies, market knowledge competence, and innovation capability all have a favorable and significant impact on the competitive advantage of culinary MSMEs. The most influential variable is innovation capability. This study's findings support the Knowledge-Based View approach, which stresses knowledge management and knowledge-based competencies as sources of competitive advantage. This study has practical significance for MSME players and policymakers formulating MSME development policies aimed at boosting intellectual capital.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of digital marketing and brand image on customer satisfaction of Hanasui skincare products on the shopee e-commerce platform. Customer satisfaction is an important factor in maintaining loyalty and business sustainability, especially amid the increasingly competitive skincare industry in digital platforms. The population in this study consisted of regular morning students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas 17 August 1945 Semarang from the 2022-2025 cohorts, totaling 333 students. This study used a quantitative approach with a sampling technique using the slovin formula, resulting in 77 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires using a five-point likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that digital marketing has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction with a significance value of 0.014, while brand image also has a positive and significant effect with a significance value og 0.001. This study proves that improving digital marketing strategies and strengthening brand image can increase customes satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the impact of the increase in the Value Added Tax (VAT) rate on the sales of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), as well as to identify the perceptions and strategies of MSMEs actors regarding the Value Added Tax (VAT) rate adjustment policy. The population in this study consists of MSMEs actors in the Bangka Belitung Islands region who are affected by the Value Added Tax (VAT) rate increase. This research uses a qualitative approach and a sample selection technique with a purposive sampling. The results show that the increase in the Value Added Tax (VAT) rate has an impact on the sales performance of MSMEs.

Abstract

The development of digital banking in Indonesia has shown significant growth; however, the adoption rate of Maybank Indonesia’s M2U service among Generation Z in Bandar Lampung remains suboptimal. This study aims to analyze the effect of perceived ease of use and trust on the intention to use the M2U service among Generation Z in Bandar Lampung. The research employed a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. The population consisted of 4,600 Generation Z users of the M2U application at KCI Bandar Lampung, with a sample of 98 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that perceived ease of use has a positive and significant effect on the intention to use the M2U service. Trust also has a positive and significant effect on the intention to use the service. Simultaneously, perceived ease of use and trust significantly influence Generation Z’s intention to use M2U in Bandar Lampung. The study concludes that improving application usability and strengthening security and user trust are key factors in increasing Generation Z’s intention to adopt M2U digital banking services.

Abstract

Human resource management is a process related to the implementation of management functions. Therefore, if human resources within an organization are properly managed and utilized, the organization will be able to run its operations optimally, thereby encouraging employees to contribute positively to performance. Performance can be influenced by work discipline and job satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of work discipline on employee performance at PT. Navil Natural Organik and to examine the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance at PT. Navil Natural Organik. The population in this study consisted of all employees of PT. Navil Natural Organik. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling. Thus, a total sample of 115 respondents was obtained. Data were collected using questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees at PT. Navil Natural Organik, and job satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees at PT. Navil Natural Organik.
