Abstract

This study aims to investigate the difficulties female business owners face in the Bule Hora town administration in Ethiopia's Horn of Africa. Due to problems with how women are regarded, treated, and considered to be, there is a difference between inactive women and those who have potential. The researchers used a qualitative research design and an interpretative research technique. The researchers spoke with eight female business owners engaged in the company's founding. The purposive sample strategy was used using a structured interview to gather primary data from the respondents. For the analysis of qualitative data, thematic data analysis was used. The primary conclusions of the study showed that social and cultural barriers, lack of money, a lack of adequate employment prospects, a lack of expertise, and a lack of training were the biggest challenges for women entrepreneurs in the study area. The study's conclusions will help the government as it updates its policies to address organizational, individual, legal/administrative, economic, social/cultural, and other aspects that affect how women entrepreneurs view entrepreneurship.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide a conceptual framework and determine the factors influencing deposit mobilization in Ethiopia's commercial banks using the literature that is currently accessible. The bank's yearly incremental deposit plan, which calls for the easy mobilization of a sizable sum of money from the communities, is no longer the optimum method for undertaking deposit mobilization. The literature relating to factors influencing deposit mobilization at Ethiopia's commercial banks is presented in this overview of the literature.  As a result, there are three sections to the literature review. The introduction linked to overviews of deposit mobilization in Ethiopian commercial banks and factors affecting deposit mobilization is covered in the first portion of the literature review. The second portion looks at empirical concerns regarding the factors influencing deposit mobilization. The conceptual framework for deposit mobilization is shown in the third section, followed by the literature gap of the evaluated literature. Researchers framed the conceptual framework for the research's future course using the most recent available literature.

Abstract

With the advancement of plantations in South Sumatra in particular and Indonesia in general. So, there is a lot of opening up of new plantation land, be it oil palm, rubber and other plantations. Therefore, Telkomsel is always at the forefront by adding new BTS (Base Transceiver Station). Telkomsel always provides comfort to its users to continue trying to maintain signal stability so that customers continue to experience satisfactory results. One of them is the London Sumatra Plantation Company, an oil palm plantation company located in Musi Banyuasin Regency. The checks in this research used the Drive test method using TEMS Investigation 11.0.1. At the beginning of checking the location, the BTS that covered the London Sumatra Group Plantation Company building was BinaKahuripan, a distance of ± 10KM, while apart from this BTS there was a BTS that was closer, namely SungaiKubu, ± 6KM. After analysis, the reason why the SungaiKubu BTS is not dominant is because the antenna direction is not pointing towards the London Sumatra Group location, which causes the dominant BTS to be BinaKahuripan. So, from the results of this analysis, a solution was produced, namely Reorienting the SungaiKubu BTS antenna from Directional. Previously 330º was changed to 355º as well as for mechanical & electrical from 2 & 3, changed to all 1. From the results of the antenna reorientation, the SungaiKubu BTS has become more dominant. Checks were carried out in 2 positions, namely Position 1 and Position 2. The results of the checks produced an average Rx Level value for Position 1 before the antenna reorientation was -94.4 dBm while after the antenna reorientation was -81 dBm. The average Rx Quality value before the antenna reorientation was 3.8 while after the antenna reorientation was 2. The results of checking the average Rx Level for Position 2 before the antenna reorientation was -89 dBm while after the antenna reorientation was -81 dBm. The average Rx Quality value before antenna reorientation was 4.9 while after antenna reorientation was 2.

Abstract

This paper aims at examining the pitfalls of Roderick Chisholm’s concept of reliabilism and its implications for epistemic indubility. Chisholm posits that justified belief depends on what is practically true and right for the knower to believe. He maintains that epistemic justification depends on evidence internally available to the knower and anchored his argument on the fact that we rarely have direct access to the truth of propositions, that is, to reality. Every conclusion about the epistemic status of a belief in this perspective involves a conclusion about the “legitimacy” of its source. Our paper argues that this premium Chisholm’s reliabilism places on the knowing subject’s ability to acquire knowledge through the right kind of source undermines our quest for epistemic indubitability hence, among the purposes of this study are: to examine how the reliability of a belief is dependent on the authenticity of its process of realization. It investigates what constitutes the criteria for a reliable belief and tries to resolve whether reliability is conferred on beliefs by our mere confessions. We find that a reliable belief may not after all be error free. Also that reliability invokes the skeptical question of the reliability of human knowledge. Our research which adopts the analytical method of enquiry concludes by underscoring the fact that Chisholm’s reliabilism turns the indubitable knowledge quest of philosophy into doubtful probabilities and further into full blown skepticism.

Abstract

This study determined the level of awareness of the implementation and the extent of violation of the Anti-Covid-19 Ordinance of 2020 in Dipolog City, Philippines. It utilized the quantitative descriptive-survey method employing a validated research questionnaire as its principal tool in gathering data. The respondents were randomly selected residents from the different communities within the city. The gathered data were treated statistically using frequency counting, percentage computation, weighted mean, and Chi-Square test. The findings revealed that respondents were “Much Aware” of the implementation but the volume or the extent of reported violations reached up to 989 individuals being apprehended and fined during the implementation. Among the types of violations committed, failure to observe social distancing ranks first. Further, it reveals a significant relationship between the level of awareness and the extent of violation of the COVID-19 ordinance. The study recommends stricter enforcement of the local order and extensive awareness campaigns for the prevention of large-scale disease transmission and diminution of quarantine protocol violations.

Abstract

Buildings are a form of architecture that has an important role in life. Residential architecture such as a house is one of human needs and a manifestation of the understanding of the function, ideas, and behavior of its occupants. In designing a house it is very important to determine the pattern of spatial arrangement. The problem that exists is how the spatial arrangement pattern of a residential house is adapted to the function and nature of the room which can provide comfort to the occupants. This research aims to see the spatial order patterns contained in the novel Dilatasi Memori by Ari Nur. The way to collect data/analysis information is by reading the novel as a whole, and then taking quotations from sentences related to the components of residential spatial layout patterns in architecture. The spatial arrangement pattern should be a space that has benefits and is influenced by the activities and character of the occupants which will influence the division of space, choice of colors, and furniture. From this research, it can be seen how the pattern of spatial arrangement in the novel Dilatasi Memori by Ari Nur contains several zones that are adapted to their function, namely Public Area, Private Area, Semi-Private Area, and Service Area.

Abstract

The world's most polluting industry is the textile industry. in order for such industries to harm the ecology as well. Industries have an impact on biomes, which limits how well plants and animals can breathe. Apart from that, the water discharged by the textile factories contributes to water contamination. Dust, which causes respiratory issues, also affects the workers. The staff are required to adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOP). To reduce the impact of the hazards, management should enforce safety standards. By doing this, the environmental pollutants will be removed. Wastewater should be treated using cleaner technology that promotes long-term development in our environment so that the ecosystem may exist without having an impact on the conditions of the environment. This will preserve water for the environment's future. The textile industry need to maintain a focus on worker safety and waste management.
