Abstract

Most digital maturity models are built for large manufacturers and stop at assigning a score without producing actionable strategic output, which is precisely what resource-constrained service firms need. This study formulates a digital transformation strategy for PT Hakhara Akademia Indonesia through gap analysis between current and target states. A descriptive qualitative single case study assessed five dimensions across nineteen indicators on a five-level maturity scale, drawing on in-depth interviews with ten informants, document review, and three weeks of direct observation, triangulated to set each indicator value. Target state was agreed in a workshop and dimension weights derived from pairwise comparison with a consistency ratio of 0.051. Weighted maturity stood at 2.37 against a target of 3.80. Technology and infrastructure scored highest at 2.75 while data and analytics scored lowest at 1.80, so the binding constraint is governance rather than technology. Weighting reordered priorities, placing digital strategy and leadership first, and a three-stage roadmap with interim maturity targets is proposed.

Abstract

Indonesia regulates electronic evidence across several statutes without an integrated technical guideline comparable to international standards, so handling practice varies between agencies and may trigger disputes over evidentiary validity. This study analyzes chain of custody application in digital forensic investigation through a review of standards and practice. A qualitative document analysis examined NIST SP 800-86, ISO/IEC 27037, 27041, 27042, and 27043, Indonesian statutes on electronic evidence, and scholarly articles from 2015 to 2025, using a three-stage procedure of coverage mapping against a six-question handling framework, gap analysis against four contemporary technology conditions, and synthesis. The two principal standards proved complementary rather than competing, with NIST stronger on incident response integration and custodian documentation and ISO stronger on identification and first responder competence. Neither adequately covers cloud computing or multi-tenancy, and full-disk encryption forces a shift in emphasis from repeatability toward auditability. Seven guideline elements are proposed, four of them high priority and implementable without regulatory change.

Abstract

Institutional digitization projects in Indonesia typically stop at providing a file repository, without a standard metadata scheme or long-term preservation strategy, so the result is storage rather than an archive. This study designs and builds a web-based document digitization and preservation system for PT Hakhara Akademia Indonesia using a digital humanities approach. A descriptive qualitative design combined archival appraisal of the full holdings, in-depth interviews with six informants to capture undocumented context, system design mapping the OAIS reference model onto four functional components, and evaluation through timed retrieval across twelve scenarios plus a focus group with eight users. Of 1,013 files appraised, 16.88 percent were damaged, and 47 meeting minutes lacked agenda or attendance records making them uninterpretable without testimony. Dublin Core was extended with three local elements covering creation context, related documents, and narrative notes. Retrieval time fell 90.69 percent on average, yet users valued the narrative notes most, showing that findability and intelligibility require different treatment.
