Abstract

The digitalization of health information systems has become a vital component in healthcare service reform in many countries, including Indonesia. One concrete form of this transformation is the implementation of the Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS), which aims to integrate all administrative, management, and clinical service processes electronically. The implementation of SIMRS is considered a strategic step in improving efficiency, service quality, and accountability in hospital data management (Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, 2020). However, in reality, regional hospitals face more complex challenges compared to central or private hospitals. These challenges include limited budget allocation for IT infrastructure, a lack of reliable IT personnel, and unequal access to stable internet networks (Putri & Harjo, 2022). These various obstacles not only hinder the effective implementation of SIMRS but also potentially degrade the quality of patient care if the system does not function optimally. This study aims to explore in depth the perspectives of healthcare workers on the challenges of SIMRS implementation in regional hospitals. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the study analyzes the experiences, perceptions, and obstacles faced by hospital staff in the daily use of SIMRS. The research object is a Regional Public Hospital (RSUD), with research subjects consisting of hospital staff directly involved in the SIMRS implementation process. Data collection techniques included observation and interviews. The findings conclude that the main challenges in SIMRS implementation in regional hospitals include user competence, infrastructure support, and organizational readiness. Many healthcare workers are not yet technically or mentally prepared due to limited training, additional workloads, and systems that do not meet the needs of specific work units (Wibowo et al., 2022). Equipment limitations, unstable internet connections, and dependence on technicians worsen the situation. Data security issues are also a concern, as SIMRS stores sensitive medical information (Setiawan & Nugroho, 2021). System disruptions that force manual work reduce efficiency and increase the risk of errors. Therefore, ongoing practical training, infrastructure modernization, more user-friendly systems, and involving healthcare workers in evaluations are necessary to ensure SIMRS can be implemented optimally and contextually (Rahmawati et al., 2023).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze community empowerment in mitigation, reconstruction, and rehabilitation in disaster-prone areas due to Class C mining operations in Kampar Regency. The primary focus of this research is to explore the role of community empowerment in addressing the environmental impacts caused by illegal mining, as well as the efforts that can be made to improve the social and economic conditions in these areas. The research method used is literature review, where the researcher analyzes various journals, books, articles, and previous studies that discuss topics related to community empowerment in the context of disasters and mining. The literature analyzed includes studies on the environmental impacts of Class C mining and the community empowerment strategies applied in disaster-prone areas. The results of the study show that low community participation in empowerment programs is a major barrier in mitigation and rehabilitation efforts. Communities around mining areas often lack awareness of the long-term environmental damage caused, and as a result, they are more focused on immediate economic benefits. Additionally, limited access to information, facilities, and budget constraints hinder the success of empowerment programs. This research recommends the development of an integrated database system, increasing community participation through education and training, and strengthening synergies between the government, communities, and the private sector in environmental rehabilitation efforts.

Abstract

Landscape structure of green open spaces, urban forests, micro climate, comfort level, wildlife diversity, and malay culture are still under studied and the studies generally still focus on the aspect of urban planning. The quality of green open spaces and the comfort level of urban population will be better if the management of open spaces can be realized. This review article aims to measure the landscape structure and culture diversity and assess the correlation between the landscape structure and the comfort level of green open spaces in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. This observation review was carried out on several urban open space, urban forests, wildlife diversity sample unit and in depth interview. The result of this review article shows that on average, each the green open space in Johor Bahru has patch size of 6.78 hectares; the number of edges are 1962,04 meters; the edge density are 9,36 meters/hectare; the mean shape index are 2,75 and the mean patch fractal dimension are 1,41. The diversity of birds in Johor Bahru at whole green open space scales is low that is 0,28 in which the highest diversity index found in urban forests and yards is 0.37 while the lowest at 0.14 green line. From the eleven variables, there are five correlated variables which are mean patch size (X1), mean patch fractal dimension (X5), light intensity (Y3), the comfort index (Y4), and the percentage of canopy closure (Y5). The comfort index correlates the strongest than the rest of variables. Benefits of this research are to obtain information about the importance of determining the landscape structure of green open space that is appropriate to fix the comfort level and provide recommendations for policymakers and related institutions in developing the city.

Abstract

This study aims to integrate the results of sustainability analysis using the Multidimensional Scaling–RAPFISH approach into the policy planning process for flood risk reduction in the Kuranji Watershed, Padang City. Five strategic dimensions—economic, environmental, social, infrastructure, and institutional—were analyzed to provide a holistic view of sustainability. Primary data were collected through interviews and questionnaires with stakeholders, while secondary data came from planning documents and policies. The analysis revealed that four of the five dimensions are in the less sustainable category, with index scores ranging from 37.69 to 42.22. Only the institutional dimension was considered moderately sustainable, with a score of 51.77. The average sustainability index across all dimensions was 41.99, indicating an overall status of low sustainability. Leverage and Monte Carlo analyses were used to identify the most influential attributes. The infrastructure dimension had the lowest index, largely affected by the availability of evacuation routes, early warning systems, and emergency logistics. The RAPFISH model demonstrated strong validity and reliability, supported by stress values below 0.15 and R² values near 1. Monte Carlo simulations showed minimal differences, confirming model robustness. These findings suggest that MDS-RAPFISH is a valuable tool for evidence-based policy planning, enabling prioritization of interventions and formulation of adaptive, integrated strategies. This approach can help policymakers identify critical leverage points and design flood risk reduction policies that address the socio-environmental complexities of the Kuranji Watershed, while contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the implementation of accrual-based accounting on the quality of government financial reports, with Government Accounting Standards (SAP) as a reference framework. The implementation of accrual-based accounting is considered to be able to increase transparency and accountability in state financial management through the recognition of income and expenses when they occur, not when cash is received or recorded. However, the effectiveness of this implementation is highly dependent on the competence of the human resources involved in the preparation of financial reports. This study uses a descriptive approach where researchers search for articles and journals from various databases such as Google Scholar, DOAJ, and accredited campus journal portals such as Garuda and Sinta with the criteria of being published in the period 2020-2025, with the conclusion that the accrual-based accounting recording method can improve the quality of government financial report preparation because it can predict the future that reflects economic reality.
