Abstract

This research originated from seeing the phenomenon that occurred in schools, there were some teachers who were lacking in disciplining the learning administration, therefore the principal tried to improve teacher professionalism. This study aims to obtain clear information about: 1) Principal management plans to improve professionalism of Islamic education teachers at SMP Muhammdiyah Simpang Empat, Tangaran District, 2019-2020 academic year. 2) Implementation of school principal management in improving the professionalism of Islamic Education teachers at SMP Muhammdiyah Simpang Empat, Tangaran District, Academic Year 2019-2020. 3) Supporting and inhibiting factors for school principals in improving the professionalism of Islamic Education teachers at SMP Muhammdiyah Simpang Empat, Tangaran District, Academic Year 2019-2020. The subjects of this study were the principal and teachers of SMP Muhammdiyah Simpang Empat, Tangaran District, Academic Year 2019-2020. To obtain data related to the research focus, the researcher conducted interviews, observation and documentation using interview guidelines, observation guidelines using a camera and a tape recorder as data collection tools. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis. In this study, researchers used two techniques, namely: 1) Triangulation Technique, 2) Member Check Technique. The results of the study can be concluded: 1) The principal management plan in improving the professionalism of Islamic Education teachers at SMP Muhammdiyah Simpang Empat, Tangaran District, Academic Year 2019-2020, namely the principal makes a professional program for Islamic Education teachers, the principal makes teaching regulations for PAI teachers, the principal gives an award To teachers who excel, the principal recommends PAI teachers to take certification. 2) Implementation of school principal management in improving the professionalism of Islamic Education teachers at SMP Muhammdiyah Simpang Empat, Tangaran District for the 2019-2020 academic year was carried out by the principal preparing briefing material for PAI teachers, the principal held training for PAI teachers, the principal held supervision of PAI teachers, school principals provide guidance in terms of learning administration. 3) Supporting and inhibiting factors for school principals in improving the professionalism of Islamic Education teachers at SMP Muhammdiyah Simpang Empat, Tangaran District, Academic Year 2019-2020, namely: Supporting Factors; The school principal recommends PAI teachers to take part in the certification program. The school principal briefs PAI teachers. The principal of the school gives awards to outstanding teachers. Obstacle factor; There are still PAI teachers who are not yet undergraduate. There are some teachers who do not respond to teacher professionalism so that the school principal program does not run

Abstract

The objective of this research is to explore: 1) The implementation of strategies by Islamic Religious Education teachers in cultivating students' interest in memorizing Juz A’mma among eighth-grade students of SMPN 10 Teluk Keramat; 2) Fostering students' interest in memorizing Juz A’mma among eighth-grade students of SMPN 10 Teluk Keramat. This study adopts a qualitative approach with a phenomenological research design. Data collection methods include interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis involves data reduction, presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing. Data validity is ensured through triangulation and member checks. The findings reveal: 1) The implementation of strategies by Islamic Religious Education teachers in memorizing Juz A’mma, specifically targeting eighth-grade students. Students are required to memorize a minimum of 12 chapters annually as a prerequisite for final grades/report cards, utilizing memorization, talqin (repetition), talaqqi (listening to recitations), and tikrar (repetition) strategies, and preselecting the chapters to be memorized. 2) Fostering students' interest in memorizing Juz A’mma among eighth-grade students of SMPN 10 Teluk Keramat involves providing motivation, elucidating the benefits and virtues of reading the Quran, rewarding extensively memorized students with high grades, continually monitoring their memorization progress, and incorporating Quranic literacy techniques before and after learning.

Abstract

As a teacher, it is certainly not uncommon to encounter children who have learning difficulties. Learning difficulties are indicated by the presence of certain obstacles to achieving learning outcomes. These difficulties can be psychological, sociological or physiological, causing the learning achievement to be below what it should be. This research is a literature study that will discuss children's learning difficulties. The results found that learning difficulties can be influenced by internal and external factors of students, so that before dealing with children's problems, a diagnosis is needed so that it is right on target. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of teachers in overcoming difficulties in learning calistung (reading, writing, and arithmetic) for students in grade 1B at SDS IT Sulthoniyah Sambas in the 2023-2024 academic year. The ability to do calistung is a very important foundation for early grade students to be able to follow lessons well. However, it is not uncommon to find students who have difficulties mastering calistung skills. This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological research type. Data collection techniques in this research used interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data validity checking techniques used source triangulation and member checking. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The role of teachers in overcoming learning difficulties in 1B grade students includes teacher competencies consisting of pedagogic, personality, professional and social competencies, as well as the role of teachers as mentors, trainers, and researchers. (2) Difficulties in learning calistung for 1B grade students include learning difficulties due to slow student comprehension, low student learning motivation, and low concentration, as well as difficulties in writing with the left hand and often making spelling and reading mistakes even though they have been taught repeatedly. (3) The results of the teacher's role in overcoming calistung learning difficulties for 1B grade students include an increase in students' calistung learning, namely an increase in the number of students who are fluent in reading from 9 to 16 people, showing significant progress in reading skills, and outstanding achievement was shown in arithmetic skills, where all students were able to do arithmetic well in semester 2, and the teacher's level of satisfaction in overcoming calistung learning difficulties still showed 75% because there were still students who had not been successfully guided and taught.

Abstract

Readiness in learning is an essential condition that influences an individual's ability to respond and achieve learning objectives. Learning readiness involves several factors: attention, motivation, developmental maturity, discipline, and self-confidence. Attention is the ability to focus on learning tasks, motivation is the internal drive that propels individuals to learn, and developmental maturity encompasses cognitive, emotional, social, and physical readiness. Discipline helps shape readiness through the influence of a supportive and authoritative environment, and by modifying body movements to enhance self-confidence. The principles of readiness formation include the interaction of developmental aspects, physical and mental maturity, the positive influence of experiences, and specific periods during development. High motivation, interest in the subject matter, psychological and emotional readiness, physical readiness, and environmental support are key factors in forming learning readiness. Environment and culture also play significant roles in learning readiness. Social support, a positive learning culture, adequate facilities and resources, and an inclusive environment that supports achievement can enhance an individual's motivation and readiness to learn. By understanding and facilitating these factors, effective and meaningful learning can be achieved, allowing students to maximize their potential.

Abstract

Law enforcement and good public service play a crucial role in maintaining the order and security of a country. This research aims to investigate the relationship between ethics and integrity among police officers. By analyzing the concepts of ethics and integrity within the police force, this study seeks to understand the key role that moral values and integrity play in policing. Through a qualitative approach, this research attempts to elaborate on how ethics and integrity can be pragmatically integrated into policing practices to improve the quality of public service and strengthen the relationship between the police and the community.

Abstract

The National Police has a vital function in maintaining security and public order with five main operational functions: intelligence, investigation, community, guidance, traffic, and bhayangkara samapta. Job stress influences police performance, and understanding job stress in the context of the police profession is important for developing effective strestegies and supports. Factors that influence work stress include excessive workload, time pressure, and interpersonal conflict. This research aims to determine the relationship between job demands and work stress among members of the National Police. Qualitative research methods are used to understand individual experiences and perceptions.

Abstract

The Indonesian National Police (Polri) focuses on increasing employee motivation to improve their performance. Motivation is one of the important factors that influences individual success. If the police do not have work motivation it will have a negative impact on their performance; Decreased quality of public services, decreased productivity, loss of initiative and creativity, increased absenteeism and turnover, high levels of stress and job dissatisfaction, poor work relationships. Therefore, it is important to increase motivation for police performance, various strategies have been implemented, including providing good examples, supporting the role of psychologists in the police to help police officers overcome stress and depression, providing role models, instilling discipline, and providing career development opportunities, as well as creating positive and supportive work environment. Education and training is one of the keys to enhancing career growth and mental growth and communication tactics have been researched to understand their impact on performance. Work motivation can influence a person's performance by up to 80%. High motivation is usually associated with increased productivity, work quality, and initiative. Therefore, increasing work motivation is an important factor in human resource management in various organizations, including the National Police. The aim of this research is to find out how much influence motivation has on the performance of the National Police. Involves analyzing techniques such as role modeling, instilling discipline, and providing career development opportunities.

Abstract

The Republic of Indonesia Police is one of the agencies that utilizes human resources. The role of human resources is very much needed in the institutional development process. The police agency operates in the military sector, namely defense and state security, so it requires quite large human resources. As members of the police, they have a large workload and responsibility in carrying out their duties. Excessive workload can have negative impacts such as low quality of work, physical fatigue, and decreased concentration. Factors that influence workload are divided into external and internal factors. Apart from the workload, police officers also have the responsibility to carry out their duties by using the power of action or discretion selectively and proportionally so that they can be legally accountable. High workload and responsibility can cause work stress which affects the performance of police officers. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence police workload and responsibilities and their impact on work stress and performance using a literature review method from 7 related national research journals.

Abstract

In the National Police institution, police psychologists are distinctive in relation to counseling guidance to problematic members in the service, so there are several professional competencies required for the psychology profession in the police environment. With counseling services, it is expected that there will be handling to improve professionalism in members of the Police. The type of research design used in this study is a type of literature review research where journal references are collected using the Google Scholar database. Based on the results of the literature review found, it was found that there was still quite a lack of psychological counseling for police personnel However, it has also been found that there are several types of counseling services that can be provided to police personnel
