Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh belajar biologi dengan lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kurangnya pemahaman siswa tentang materi yang diajarkan karena cara penyampaian guru yang kurang variatif selalu menjadi permasalahan utama dalam proses pembelajaran, guru juga cenderung menggunakan metode ceramah yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan latihan soal-soal sehingga pembelajaran yang dilakukan masih berpusat pada guru. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen karena sengaja menimbulkan variabel dan selanjutnya dikontrol untuk melihat pengaruhnya terhadap hasil belajar dan selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan angka-angka sebagai hasil akhir. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas VII MTs NW Kelayu Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014, subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII yang terdiri dari 52 siswa, yaitu untuk kelas VIIA dengan jumlah 26 siswa menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kelas VIIB dengan jumlah 26 siswa menjadi kelompok kontrolnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai untuk masing-masing kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen 1947 dengan nilai rata-rata 76,42. Sementara kelompok kontrol 1744 dengan rata-rata nilai 67,07. Kemudian dari hasil uji-t pada kemampuan kognitif siswa dengan perhitungan statistik di peroleh t-hitung sebesar 2,983. Selanjutnya harga t-hitung tersebut dibandingkan dengan harga t-tabel dengan taraf kepercayaan 5% dengan db=50 adalah 2.66. Maka t-hitung t-tabel yaitu 2,983 2,66. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) methods on students' critical thinking skills in the biology class of viii mts. mu'allimin Nw pancor 2013/2014 learning year. This type of research is experimental research with experimental design design (pretest-posttest control group) population of this study were all students of class VIII MTs. Mualimin NW Pancor. The sample in this study was simple random sampling. Data collection techniques use tests, in the form of 5 questions. Data analysis techniques look at critical thinking skills using prerequisite tests (normality, homogeneity test) and hypothesis testing that is by t-test (t-test) The results of the research obtained are the posttest average values in the 77.53 experimental class and the 70.92 control class and the results of the normality test are the experimental class and the normally distributed controls. For the experimental class the value of X2 count (-27.93) X2 Table (11,070) and control class X2 count (-56,23) X2 Table (11,070). While the homogeneity shows that the two groups are homogeneous which is seen from the value of Fcount (1.5) F table (1.93). To test the hypothesis used the t-test formula. obtained by tcount t table (4,166 1,874). So it can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning methods of reading and composition (CIRC) influences towards students' critical thinking skills in the biii class biology class. mu'allimin Nw pancor 2013/2014 learning year.

Abstract

Natural Sciences are the study of causes and events that occur in nature. Science is believed to be able to train or instill positive attitudes and values in students. Science learning that can be implemented well, will be able to form positive attitudes and values in students as a provision that is needed in overcoming the problems it faces in life. Of course this can be achieved if science learning is seen as a process not just studying the product. The focus of this study is to determine the ability of students in critical thinking through problem based learning on Biology subjects in Selong 1 Public Middle School. This study uses Experiment by using a pre-test and one-group design test post. The population in this study were students of SMP N 1 Selong class VII with a total of 109 students. The research sample was class VII.G which was obtained in a draw. The research instrument was in the form of a test, the test given to students in the form of a critical thinking test about water pollution in the form of essays which numbered 5 questions. The technique of analyzing test data is critical thinking using Gain (d) pre-test and post-test to determine whether there is an increase in the problem of critical thinking skills. The results of data analysis of students' critical thinking skills experienced an increase in score of 0.44, which illustrates an increase with the average value of the pre test students 43.89 to 68.61 in the post test. Thus, it can be said that the application of problem-based learning to biology subjects can improve students' critical thinking skills in Selong 1 Public Middle School.

Abstract

this reserch was aimed at knowing whether science and people’s technology (STM) was effective toward student’s biology learning achiement of the tenth grade of MA Palapa Nusantara NW Selebung in the academic year 2013-2014. This reserch was experimental reserch with post-test only control  group desaign. The population was all students of the tenth grade MA Palapa Nusantara NW Selebung and the sample was X-A was experimen group and X-B was control group. The research instrument was 20 items of multiple choice. The data were  were analyzed using homogeneity with variant test and normality test with chi-square. The hypothesis was tested through t-test where t-test was higher than t-table (5,02 1,98. Meanwhile, the result of analysis showed that the experimeth group’s mean score was 76,75 and the control group was 60,16 it meant that Ha was accepted and the implementation of  saince and people’s technology was significantly effective toward students,biology learning achiievement of the tenth grade of MA Palapa Nusantara NW Selebung in academic year 2013-2014.

Abstract

abstract: The purpose of this study is conducted to determine the eff ect Model Based Learning Project (Pr oject Based Learning) on Creative Thinking Ability in Class VII MTs Nurussalam Tetebatu Learning Year 2014/2015 thus exp ected to be used as reference material when teaching in schools by teachers and as a guideline for other researchers for a similar study in more depth. This research w as Quasi-Experimental Design with the for m design pretest-posttest control group . This research was taken place at MTs Nuru ssalam Tetebatu in May 2015. The population of this research was all students of the VII MTs Nurussalam Tetebatu utilizing simple random sampling techniq ue in gaining the data. 24 students wer e taken as the experiment class and 25 stud ents were for the control class. The dat a collection used was analysis ability data that was evaluated trough instrument consisted of 8 questions. The data analysis use d was normality test, homogeneity te st, mean score, and t-test for students’ creative thinking ability. The research rasult showed that in the eksperiment class, the mean score was 71.7 and the mean score of the control class was 66.2. The hypothesis test was conducted at the experiment class using t-test. Based on t-te st, the t-count = 10,37 in significant rank 5% and the t-table 2,069 (t-count t-tab le). It means the Ho was rejected and the Ha was accepted, so the hypothesis was accepted.
