Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui langkah-langkah pengembangan bahan ajar IPA berbasis lingkungan, untuk mengetahui hasil pengembangan bahan ajar IPA berbasis lingkungan dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis lingkungan terhadap hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan mengadopsi model pengembangan Borg and Gall yang terdiri dari 7 tahapan yang disederhanakan yaitu analisis kebutuhan, desain, pembuatan prototype bahan ajar, uji coba bahan ajar, revisi bahan ajar, penerapan bahan ajar dan revisi terakhir.penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan desain uji coba one group pretes-posttes desaign. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 3 Jenggik sebanyak 23 siswa yang terdiri dari 10 orang siswa laki-laki dan 13 orang siswa perempuan. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif.Instrument pengumpulan data meliputi tes dan angket respon siswa.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala empat untuk validasi bahan ajar dan thitung untuk mengetahui pengaruh bahan ajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan suatu peningkatan hasil posstes siswa meningkat dibandingkan hasil pretes yaitu sebelum menggunakan bahan ajar IPA berbasis lingkungan dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil posttes siswa pada uji coba lapanganyang dilaksanakan di SDN 3 Jenggik diperoleh rata-rata nilai siswa 75,21, dengan ketuntasan klasikal 82,6%. Sedangkan hasil pretes siswa diperoleh nilai rata-rata 61,52,dengan ketuntasan klasikal 43,47%. Sementara respon siswa terhadap bahan ajar IPA berbasis lingkungan dikategorikan tinggi yaitu dengan rata-rata 83,12 yang berada pada rentang skor 85,27 > X ≥ 83,12. Pengaruh bahan ajar IPA berbasis lingkungan terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa dianalisis menggunakan thitung.Diperoleh hasil thitung 12,015, kemudian dibandingkan dengan hasil ttabel dengan taraf signifikan 5%, yaitu 12,015 berbanding 1,721.Berdasarkan hasil perbandingan nilai thitung dengan ttabel pada skala kecil dan besar, diperoleh nilai thitung lebih besar dari ttabel, maka bahan ajar IPA berbasis lingkungan sebagai produk hasil pengembangan dikatakan berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa.

Abstract

This PkM program aims to improve: (1) teacher skills in designing and developing KIT of Natural Sciences practicum tools, Practical tools, laboratory management SOP as well as integrated science materials with the potential of the surrounding environment. The method used in achieving these objectives is the implementation of inservice in the form of training and assistance. The training carried out is a training to develop the skills and creativity of science teachers in the production / design of an integrated natural science practicum device based on the environment and training to design learning using a scientific approach that utilizes the KIT of science that has been produced. Assistance is also carried out related to improving the ability of teachers to explore, elaborate and reflect on integrated science teaching materials. The output of this activity is in the form of KIT of integrated environment-based practicum tools equipped with SOP for the management of practicum with environmental conditions; Integrated practicum tools in integrated science learning (RPP, LKS, teacher's guide) to support scientific approach learning; Integrated science laboratory management SOP; Refresher teaching materials integrated science materials; Scientific article (national publication). The results of the activities that have been achieved include, increased understanding and skills of natural science teachers in the Jerowaru SMPN 1 Natural Science teacher group on integrated science material, increasing teachers' understanding of learning with an inquiry approach, increasing the skills of science teachers designing / making KIT Simple science made from raw materials from the surrounding environment to support science learning using the inquiry discovery approach (scientific approach), increasing the ability of science teachers to design learning tools with the inquiry inquiry approach (scientific approach), training the skills and abilities of science teachers in partner schools in implementing science learning with inquiry discovery (scientific approach) approach.

Abstract

Some strategies were conducted by educators to create a conducive classroom atmosphere, and create collaborative learning so that students are accustomed to expressing their ideas, and opinions in learning, one of which is by implementing lesson study patterns for learning community. The research focus was to find out students' creative thinking skills in biological materials by using lesson study for learning community learning patterns. The respondents of the study were Grade X IPA students at SMA Negeri 1 Masbagik numbering 33 students. Data collection used a description test of biodiversity. The results of the description test were analyzed using the Scale Range Formula, the description test given referred to indicators of creative thinking ability i.e. fluency, flexibility, and originality and each answer was given a score of 3, 2 and 1. The results of the data analysis were that learning with lesson study patterns for learning community, students were able to produce creative ideas with a moderate category that is above 50%, while for the low and high categories the gain was below 50% in creative thinking indicators namely fluency, flexibility, and originality. To get used to students getting used to creative thinking, it took exercises in the creative thinking process either in the form of essay questions, or tasks that are implemented during the learning process

Abstract

The strategic potential of the West Bagik Longgek Environment with the potential of natural resources, especially agriculture, is an economic attraction to increase people's income. So far, people are not used to utilizing household waste and the potential of surrounding resources to produce products that have more economic value. This Community Service Program aims to provide insight into finding creative ideas for processing household waste, especially natural fertilizer. The method used in this service activity is carried out in 4 stages: observation, preparation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Compost fertilizer from household waste in the form of rice washing water, stale rice and vegetable residues, and or fruit skins, and EM4 fertilizer is added as a catalyst in making compost. Household waste that has no economic value will have a proper value when it can be reprocessed into something useful, one of which is compost. The compost produced from this activity is dark brown to black, similar to the color of the soil, insoluble in water, and odorless, so it can be concluded that the quality of the compost produced is quite good

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh belajar biologi dengan lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kurangnya pemahaman siswa tentang materi yang diajarkan karena cara penyampaian guru yang kurang variatif selalu menjadi permasalahan utama dalam proses pembelajaran, guru juga cenderung menggunakan metode ceramah yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan latihan soal-soal sehingga pembelajaran yang dilakukan masih berpusat pada guru. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen karena sengaja menimbulkan variabel dan selanjutnya dikontrol untuk melihat pengaruhnya terhadap hasil belajar dan selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan angka-angka sebagai hasil akhir. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas VII MTs NW Kelayu Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014, subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII yang terdiri dari 52 siswa, yaitu untuk kelas VIIA dengan jumlah 26 siswa menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kelas VIIB dengan jumlah 26 siswa menjadi kelompok kontrolnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai untuk masing-masing kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen 1947 dengan nilai rata-rata 76,42. Sementara kelompok kontrol 1744 dengan rata-rata nilai 67,07. Kemudian dari hasil uji-t pada kemampuan kognitif siswa dengan perhitungan statistik di peroleh t-hitung sebesar 2,983. Selanjutnya harga t-hitung tersebut dibandingkan dengan harga t-tabel dengan taraf kepercayaan 5% dengan db=50 adalah 2.66. Maka t-hitung t-tabel yaitu 2,983 2,66. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pengaruh Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (Problem Based Learning) Terhadap Kemampuan Berfikir Kritis Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Biologi Di MA NW Kotaraja Kelas X Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data untuk hasil belajar dengan metode tes essay. Untuk uji normalitas menggunakan chi-kuadrat dan untuk uji homogenitas menggunakan uji F. Adapun uji hipotesis penelitian menggunakan uji-t yaitu parametris dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan untuk uji prasyarat analisis yaitu uji normalitas dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedua sampel berasal dari populasi yang berdistribusi normal karena χ2hitung ≤ χ 2tabel, yaitu untuk kelas eksperimen 6,563 ≤ 11.07 dan untuk kelas kontrol 7.271 ≤ 11.07. Adapun untuk  uji  homogenitas  dapat  disimpulkan  bahwa  sampel  berasal  dari  populasi  yang homogen karena Fhitung Ftabel yaitu 1.04 1.86. Dari hasil analisis pada uji hipotesis didapatkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima karena harga -thitung ≤ -t1/2α atau thitung ≥ t1/2α, yaitu 4,365 ≥ 2,002. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ada pengaruh Pengaruh Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (Problem Based Learning) Terhadap Kemampuan Berfikir Kritis Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Biologi Di MA NW Kotaraja Kelas X Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect Effects of Problem Based Learning (Problem Based Learning) Critical Thinking Ability Of Students In Biology Lesson In Class X MA NW Kotaraja academic year 2014/2015. This type of research is experimental research. Data collection techniques to study the results of the essay test method. The research hypothesis testing using t-test is parametric with a significant level of 5%. Based on calculations for analysis prerequisite test that normality test can be concluded that the two samples come from populations with normal distribution because χ2hitung ≤ χ 2tabel, namely for the experimental class ≤ 6.563 and 11:07 a.m. to 11:07 a.m. ≤ 7,271 control class. As for the homogeneity test can be concluded that the samples come from a homogeneous population because Fhitung Ftable is 1:04 1.86. From the analysis of the test showed that the hypothesis H0 is rejected and Ha accepted as the price of -thitung ≤ - T1 values / 2α or thitung ≥ t1 / 2α, namely 4.365 ≥ 2.002. . Abstract

Hydroponic farming has emerged as an effective alternative to overcome land limitations, especially in urban and compact residential areas. Focusing on two Madrasah Aliyah in East Lombok, the Community Service Program by the Biology Education Department of Universitas Hamzanwadi implemented hydroponic techniques as an innovative farming method. This initiative aimed to enhance environmental awareness and farming skills among students, while utilizing styrofoam waste as a planting medium. The process included socialization, seedling production, planting, maintenance, and harvesting, using plants such as water spinach, lettuce, and spinach. The implementation method incorporated Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), enabling active participation from students and teachers. The program was conducted from March to November 2023 at MA NWDI Juet and MA Ridlol Walidain NW Batu Bangka - Jenggik. The mentoring process involved various stages, from introducing hydroponic techniques to creating planting media and planting, including the use of AB Mix nutrients and rockwool as planting media. The results of the activity showed successful cultivation of hydroponic water spinach, while lettuce and spinach experienced crop failure. The primary causes of this failure were inadequate care, light, and temperature. Nevertheless, the activity successfully educated students on the importance of hydroponic agriculture and creative waste utilization, providing new insights into urban farming. In conclusion, the hydroponic approach can be an efficient solution for cultivating plants in limited spaces, offering educational and environmental benefits. This program also highlighted the potential of styrofoam waste as a hydroponic planting medium, underscoring the importance of waste utilization for environmental sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the critical thinking skills of biology students through the application of the Problem-Based Learning Lesson Study pattern. The research method used was descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were Biology students of semester V at Hamzanwadi University. The research instruments consisted of observation sheets to obtain information about the learning process with Lesson Study patterns, as well as essay test instruments to measure students' critical thinking skills. Critical thinking indicators used include the ability to formulate problems, the ability to provide arguments, deductive ability, inductive ability, and evaluation ability. Data analysis was done descriptively and qualitatively. The effectiveness of applying the problem-based learning model to students' critical thinking skills was assessed using the N Gain formula. Based on the N Gain results, the problem-based learning model was quite effective in improving students' critical thinking skills with the following details; the ability to formulate problems was 0.67 (medium), the ability to provide arguments was 0.42 (medium), deductive ability was 0.44 (medium), inductive ability was 0.40 (medium), and evaluation ability was 0.41 (medium). Meanwhile, the learning process with Lesson Study which includes the Plan, Do, and See stages provides valuable learning for the team of lecturers involved when jointly designing learning, observing learning, and reflecting on learning, followed up in the learning process in the class they teach.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of giving chicken manure on the growth of tomato (Lycopercisum esculentum Mill). This research was conducted in the village of Bebara, Darmasari Village, Sikur District. This type of research is a quantitative study with an experimental method with a completely randomized research design (CRD). In this study, there were two treatments, namely giving chicken manure (experimental) and without giving chicken manure (control). Where this experiment uses three concentrations, namely 250 grams, 350 grams, and 450 grams, with 4 repetitions. Growth parameters measured were plant height, leaf length and number of leaves. The data analysis technique used is the one-way ANOVA test. The results of hypothesis testing carried out with a significant level of 5% indicate that the plant height F count F table (9,35> 2.92), leaf length F count > F table (12,00 > 2.92), and the number of leaves F count> F table (7,22 > 2.92). Based on the results of the calculation of these data, it can be concluded that the provision of chicken manure can affect the growth of tomato plants (Lycopercisum esculentum Mill) because manure can meet the nutrient needs needed by tomato plants for growth.
