Abstract

The paper explores the obstacles to the implementation of international organizations' programs and projects in Nigeria, using social role theory and secondary data. The study found that inadequate funding, poor financial bilateral agreements, lack of data, insecurity, corruption, bureaucratic problems, and political interferences hinder the success of these organizations. The paper recommends increased funding for international organizations, adherence to financial organizations' paths, and the creation of an ICT system to curb corruption. It also suggests timely communication with international organizations to ensure their programs are implemented as planned. The findings underscore the need for effective governance and support for international organizations in Nigeria.

Abstract

This review paper explores key themes in Western philosophy, addressing questions on logic, epistemology, and metaphysics. It emphasizes the diverse influences on philosophy, including cultural and historical factors. The evolution of philosophy, its subjective classification, and the contrasting views on history by Hegel and Hume are discussed. Wittgenstein's pragmatic philosophy, Heidegger's three-fold structure, and Husserl's self-evidence contribute to understanding being. The examination of idealism, metaphysics, and human consciousness reveals philosophical complexities. In conclusion, philosophy shapes human knowledge, integrating the visible and invisible worlds, and continues to evolve, fostering a dialogue about the nature of reality.

Abstract

The study explores gender stereotypes in Nigerian advertising, focusing on their impact on societal perceptions, attitudes, and consumer buying behaviors. It uses feminist and social constructionism theory to provide a critical discourse on the issue. The study concludes that advertisers and marketers play a crucial role in influencing societal attitudes and perceptions through their campaigns. It suggests that advertisers should actively seek to represent a diverse range of gender identities, reflecting the complexity and diversity of Nigerian society. This can include showcasing individuals from different gender identities, backgrounds, and experiences, contributing to a more inclusive and representative portrayal of gender in advertising.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to evaluate how artificial intelligence affects the supervision of schools and the management of school facilities in public secondary schools within the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Nigeria. The study utilized a descriptive survey approach, targeting all 292 public senior secondary schools in Abuja. A sample of 400 principals and vice principals was selected using a stratified random sampling method. The research utilized a questionnaire titled "Artificial Intelligence and School Supervision and School Plant Management Questionnaire (AISSSPMQ)" employing a four-point rating scale: (a) strongly agree (S.A) – 4, (b) agree (A) – 3, (c) disagree (D) – 2, and (d) strongly disagree (S.D) – 1. The questionnaire's validity was confirmed by three lecturers from the Department of Educational Management, University of Abuja, and its reliability was assessed using Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient, yielding a coefficient of 0.87. Data analysis employed Pearson Product Moment Correlation (t-test) at a significance level of 0.05. The study concluded that there exists a significant correlation between artificial intelligence and effective school supervision, as well as between artificial intelligence and effective school plant management in public secondary schools in the FCT, Abuja, Nigeria.
