Abstract

This study describes the of Charles Sanders Pierce’s semiotic analysis simbol peras the contents of the rituals in Banyuwangi. Peras is another name commonly used public offerings Banyuwangi. The aim of this research is to find out the meaning of simbols that exist on the content wring in modernization era banyuwangi society. Juicing is used as a condition of society in implementing hajatnya banyuwangi. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative meaning triangle approach semiotics Charles Sanders Pierce. The results showed that simbols of the contents peras in Banyuwangi is a simbol of hope or values - values that contain the prayer of the owner's intent, not to present to the nation for ghost. In addition to the desired expectations, the form of wringing is also a defense of the traditions of the ancestors.

Abstract

This feature work, entitled Rambating Sumbut, tells about the problems that exist in the agricultural sector, particularly regarding farmer regeneration. As one of the food buffer areas in Bantul Regency, Imogiri sub-district has great agricultural potential, supported by existing natural resources. However, several unfavorable conditions had a significant impact on the agricultural sector in Imogiri District. Now the agricultural sector in Imogiri Subdistrict depends on unproductive peasants, of course this affects the quality of rice cultivation and crop yields.Many young people in Imogiri Subdistrict prefer to work in other sectors, besides that also because there are still old thoughts that say that farmers' children must get more work than farmers, in the hope of improving the family economy. Thus there needs to be an effort to regenerate farmers, to maintain the sustainability of agriculture and the survival of the next generation. The main thing that needs to be done is to change the mindset of young people who still regard the farmer profession as a job that does not promise the future. By integrating agriculture and existing technological developments, one of which is implementing integrated agriculture.

Abstract

This feature tells about the life of people who have a profession as cow milker in Boyolali, from a life of always working hard to provide nutritional intake for the best processed cows in the hope that cows can provide quality milk which will benefit the milkman. However, sometimes the struggle of the cow farmer is insignificant when compared to the wages and results that have been earned. With an increasingly modern development, making this processed milk into quality products and processed by the Boyolali community itself. Therefore, some people there make processed in solid form such as milk snacks, milk candy, milk chips and many others made from pure milk. So that not only liquid milk can be used as souvenirs but other solid products as well. The writing used in the production of this feature uses organic structures and parallel patterns. Here, the author will focus more on the information to be conveyed, in this feature program information will be conveyed clearly through visual images and audio in the form of voice over which will convey in detail through language selection, sentence arrangement in each paragraph which is very informative. This work is packaged in a duration of 24 minutes including a bumper and credit title. This “Milk Pool” feature has a message of the value of life that inspires and provides information about the city of Boyolali.

Abstract

Media framing might drive people’s views on an event. The so-called ‘212’ campaign in 2016 was repeated in 2018 (adopting the theme ‘reunion’ this time). This does not escape from media coverage. The purpose of the 2018 campaign is questionable. First, the use of religious claims to deliver the campaign was held approaching 2019 presidental election ; and the second is the participation of the opposing politicians. This study is aimed at examining the political views of media throughout such campaign. This research use Entman’s framing method to campare Cnnindonesia.com and Republika.co.id reports that cover this campaign. The result shows that CNN Indonesia desribes possible violations of general election’s regulations. On the other hand, Republika frames such campaign as a pure religious campaign without any voilation of such regulations.

Abstract

Wonosari itself can be said to be quite a large district, but most of the people of Wonosari Gunung Kidul still work as farmers and traders, the urban area in Wonosari is also not too large and there are still a lot of green rice fields that can be found in this district, Wonosari Gunung kidul. very famous for its very beautiful beach tourist attractions.The production work raises the beach features in Wonosari, Gunung Kidul, and provides information on coastal tourist attractions in Gunung Kidul. Creation of feature works that maximize camera movement techniques such as panning, tilt, track, crab.The purpose of making this event program is to provide information to the audience through audio-visuals about beach resorts in Gunung Kidul. As a cameraman, he applies camera movement techniques to take more dramatic images. As well as combining several lenses to get artistic images.
