Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis margin pemasaran, farmer’s share, serta tingkat efisiensi distribusi ayam broiler pada Farm PT Anugerah Kartika Agro (AKA) di Kecamatan Suwawa. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, perhitungan margin pemasaran, farmer’s share, serta efisiensi pemasaran. Responden penelitian meliputi pimpinan dan karyawan perusahaan inti, peternak plasma, pedagang besar, serta pedagang pengecer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pemasaran ayam broiler di Farm PT AKA menggunakan dua pola saluran distribusi tidak langsung. Margin pemasaran pada Saluran Distribusi I sebesar Rp12.350 per ekor, sedangkan pada Saluran Distribusi II sebesar Rp7.350 per ekor. Nilai farmer’s share pada Saluran Distribusi I mencapai 84,56%, sementara pada Saluran Distribusi II sebesar 90,20%. Tingkat efisiensi pemasaran pada Saluran Distribusi I sebesar 2,50% dan pada Saluran Distribusi II sebesar 1,33%. Kedua saluran tergolong efisien, Saluran Distribusi II menunjukkan tingkat efisiensi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan Saluran Distribusi I.

Abstract

Abdul Wahid Talawo. NIM. 621421032. The Growth of Sorghum (Shorgum Bicolor (L.) Moench) With Various Varieties and Types of Biosaka. Supervised by Mohammad Mukhtar as the first supervisor and Syamsul Bahri as the second supervisor.This study aims to determine the effect of sorghum varieties and types of biosaka on the growth of sorghum plants. The research was conducted in Tamboo Village, Tilongkabila District, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province, from June to September 2024. The study used a two-factor factorial Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) where the first factor was sorghum varieties (V) consisting of 2 levels: V1 = Numbu variety, V2 = Kawali variety, and the second factor was biosaka (B) consisting of 3 levels: B1 = Moringa leaves, B2 = Gamal leaves, and B3 = Indigofera leaves, resulting in 6 treatment combinations. Each combination was repeated 3 times, yielding 18 experimental units. The results showed that the application of biosaka significantly affected plant height, number of leaves, and stem diameter. The Numbu variety gave better values compared to the Kawali variety. There was an interaction between the application of biosaka and sorghum varieties on plant height, number of leaves, and stem diameter. The Numbu variety yielded excellent results compared to the Kawali variety in terms of plant height observation, with the Numbu variety reaching 249.21 cm while the Kawali variety only reached 168.57 cm. For the number of leaves, the Numbu variety had 10.45 leaves, while the Kawali variety had only 9.87 leaves. Similarly, for stem diameter, the Numbu variety also showed excellent results with a value of 1.68 cm, while the Kawali variety was only 1.66 cm.Keywords: growth and yield, variety, sorghum, biosaka

Abstract

Sorghum straw is a by-product of the sorghum plant that contains lignocellulosic fibers, such as cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin, which play an important role in its use as animal feed. The fiber content of straw is influenced by genetic factors of the variety and the application of biofertilizers, including Biosaka made from legume plants. This study aims to evaluate the cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin content of straw of two sorghum varieties (Numbu and Kawali) by administering three types of biosaka (Gamal leaves, Moringa leaves, and Indigofera leaves). The study used a 2 × 3 factorial randomized block design (RBD) with three replications, resulting in 18 experimental plots. The treatments consisted of Numbu (V1) and Kawali (V2) varieties, as well as biosaka Gamal leaves (B1), Moringa leaves (B2), and Indigofera leaves (B3). Data were analyzed using ANOVA and if there were significant differences, continued with the LSD test at the 5% level. The results showed that sorghum varieties significantly affected the cellulose content of straw (P<0.05), where the Kawali variety had higher cellulose than the Numbu variety. Biosaka treatment and variety × Biosaka interaction did not significantly affect the cellulose, hemicellulose, or lignin content (P>0.05). However, the combination of the Kawali variety with Gamal leaf Biosaka (V2B1) produced the highest cellulose content significantly. It can be concluded that the variety factor plays a greater role in determining the lignocellulose content of sorghum straw than the type of Biosaka given.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menduga bobot tubuh kambing lokal betina persilangan antara kambing Peranakan Etawa (PE) dengan kambing kacang dengan menggunakan ukuran-ukuran tubuh yang dihitung dari panjang badan dan lingkar dada. Penelitian dilaksanakn di Kecamatan Paguat Kabupaten Pohuwato. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey dan wawancara peternak. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara mengukur dan menimbang tubuh kambing dengan kriteria kambing lokal betina persilangan antara kambing Peranakan Etawa (PE) dan kambing kacang berumur 2 – 4 tahun. Hasil data kemudian di analisi menggunakan persamaan korelasi dan regresi untuk melihat hubungan antara ukuran-ukuran tubuh dengan bobot tubuh dengan memanfaatkan program R untuk menguji hubungan antara variabel Independen dan variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai korelasi antara panjang badan dan lingkar dada terhadap bobot badan adalah 0,80 dan 0,75. Sedangkan persamaan regresi linier antara panjang badan dan lingkar dada masing-masing yaitu BT= -6,132 + 0,588.PB dengan koefisien determinisasi  adalah 0,653 dan BT= 0,218 + 0,408.LD dengan koefisien determinisasi adalah 0,568. Persamaan regresi berganda antara panjang badan, lingkar dada dengan bobot tubuh adalah BT= -13,081 + 0,417.PB + 0,250.LD dengan nilai koefisien determinisasi sebesar 0,812 yang berarti lebih tinggi dari uji persamaan regresi linier. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ukuran tubuh seperti panjang badan dan lingkar dada dapat digunakan sebagai parameter dalam memperkirakan bobot tubuh kambing lokal betina persilangan antara kambing Peranakan Etawa (PE) dan kambing kacang
