Abstract

This study aims to investigate the meaning of money from an Islamic economic perspective in a philosophical and normative manner. In traditional economics, money is considered a medium of exchange, a store of wealth, and a morally neutral unit of measurement. However, from an Islamic economic perspective, money plays more than just an economic role, but also embodies ethical and moral values ​​based on the principles of monotheism, justice, and general welfare. Philosophically, money is seen as a trust that should be used for productive activities and should not be traded as a speculative commodity. From a normative perspective, the concept of money is governed by sharia rules that prohibit usury, gharar, and maisir, and prioritize the circulation of wealth in the real sector. Therefore, in Islamic economics, money acts as a tool to achieve prosperity and social justice, not to accumulate wealth. This study is expected to deepen the understanding that the monetary system in Islam places money as a means of distributing value and welfare in line with the maqashid of sharia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the influence of motivation and work discipline on employee performance at PT Pos Indonesia Tangerang Selatan. The type of research used is quantitative, with the sampling technique using the saturated sampling method, so the entire population was used as the research sample, totaling 87 respondents. The data collection technique was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires using a Likert scale, then processed using the SPSS version 25 application. Data analysis includes validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, regression analysis, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that motivation had a significant effect on employee performance with a simple regression equation of Y = 26.986 + 0.385X₁. The correlation value (R) of 0.352 indicates a low relationship, with a contribution of 12.4%. The hypothesis test proves that tcount > ttable (3.468 > 1.988) and a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, thus H₁ is accepted. Work discipline also has a significant effect on performance with the equation Y = 26.670 + 0.381X₂. The correlation value (R) of 0.327 indicates a low relationship, with a contribution of 10.7%. The hypothesis test shows that tcount > ttable (3.185 > 1.988) and a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05, thus H₂ is accepted. Simultaneously, motivation and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a multiple regression equation of Y = 13.896 + 0.356X₁ + 0.347X₂. The correlation value (R) of 0.460 indicates a moderate relationship with a contribution of 21.1%, while the remaining 78.9% is influenced by other factors outside the study. The F test results prove that Fcount > Ftable (11.262 > 3.11) with a significance value < 0.05, thus H₃ is accepted.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the simultaneous influence of leadership style and work discipline on the performance of employees of the South Tangerang Branch of the Air Police Directorate. This study uses quantitative research. With a research population of 646 people and 86 people as samples taken using the Slovin formula in this study. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis, data instrument testing, classical assumption testing, quantitative analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study show that the results of the hypothesis test (t test) of the leadership style variable (X1) on employee performance (Y) obtained a calculated t value > t table or (16.843 > 1.989). Thus, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, this shows that the results of the study show that there is a significant influence of leadership style on employee performance. The multiple linear regression equation Y = 0.179 + 0.360 X1 + 0.445 X2 means that employee performance even without the influence of leadership style and work discipline already has an influence of 0.179. Simultaneously, leadership style and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, this is proven by the calculated F value > F table, which is (264.977 > 3.113) with a significance value of 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), so Ho is rejected and H3 is accepted, meaning that there is a positive and significant effect between leadership style and work discipline on employee performance simultaneously at the South Tangerang Branch of the Air Police Directorate.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of recruitment and job placement on employee job satisfaction at the Ministry of Forestry, Central Jakarta. Human resources are a strategic factor that determines organizational success. Effective recruitment is expected to produce employees with the right competencies, while appropriate job placement can maximize employee potential in supporting the achievement of organizational goals. However, challenges remain, such as the decline in recruitment quality and job mismatches, which affect employee satis-faction levels.This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 56 respondents. The collected data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, simple linear regression, and multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 26. The results show that recruitment has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. Job placement also has a positive and significant effect, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Simul-taneously, both variables strongly influence job satisfaction, indicated by a cor-relation coefficient (R) of 0.675 and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.456. This means that recruitment and job placement explain 45.6% of job satisfaction, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors not included in this study.The findings highlight the importance of implementing transparent and pro-fessional recruitment, as well as job placement that matches employees’ back-grounds and competencies. Continuous improvement in both aspects is expected to enhance employee satisfaction, motivation, and performance within the Minis-try of Forestry, Central Jakarta.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline and physical work environment on employee performance at the Human Resources Development Center (PPSDM) of the Ministry of Forestry, Central Jakarta. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method with a population and sample of 56 people. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis, data instrument testing, classical assumption testing, quantitative analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study indicate that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a contribution of 74.6%, while the physical work environment has a positive and significant effect with a contribution of 67.2%. Simultaneously, work discipline and the physical work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance by 76.9%. The multiple linear regression equation obtained is Y = 5.687 + 0.602 (X1) + 0.277 (X2). This means that employee performance even without the influence of work discipline and the physical work environment already has an influence of 5.687. Work discipline and the work environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This is evidenced by the calculated F value > F table, which is (38.352 > 3.172) with a significance value of 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). Therefore, Ho is rejected and H3 is accepted. This means that there is a positive and significant influence between work discipline and the physical work environment on employee performance simultaneously at the Human Resources Development Center (PPSDM) of the Ministry of Forestry, Central Jakarta.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of training and communication on employee performance at the South Tangerang Branch of the Air Police Directorate partially and simultaneously. The method used was quantitative. The sampling technique used the Slovin formula and obtained a sample of 87 respondents. Data analysis used validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, regression analysis, correlation coefficients, determination coefficients and hypothesis tests. The results of this study are that training has a significant effect on employee performance with the regression equation Y = 14.117 + 0.637X1, a correlation coefficient value of 0.602 (strong), a determination coefficient of 36.2% and a hypothesis test obtained t count > t table or (6.948 > 1.988). Communication significantly influences employee performance, as shown in the regression equation Y = 13.188 + 0.645X2, with a correlation coefficient of 0.684 (strong), and a coefficient of determination of 46.8%. The hypothesis test yielded a calculated t-value > t-value (8.642 > 1.988). Training and communication simultaneously significantly influence employee performance, as shown in the regression equation Y = 6.928 + 0.346X1 + 0.477X2. The correlation coefficient was 0.737 (strong), with a coefficient of determination of 54.3%, while the remaining 45.7% was influenced by other variables. The hypothesis test yielded a calculated F-value > F-value (49.932 > 3.110).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of QRIS compared to other digital payment methods among young people in Surakarta City in terms of their interest in digital payments, by applying the Technology Acceptance Model, Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2, and Innovation Diffusion Theory frameworks. The study uses a quantitative approach, involving a sample of 125 young people who use digital payments in Surakarta City. Information was obtained through questionnaires and processed using multiple linear regression analysis. The research findings reveal that all independent variables were found to significantly influence the interest of digital payment users. However, comparatively, other digital payment methods (X2) were found to have a slightly stronger influence than QRIS (X1).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Organizational Culture and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at the the Center for Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Region II, South Tangerang. The method used is quantitative methods. The population in this study were employees at the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Center Region II, South Tangerang. With a total of 60 people. This data collection technique is carried out by taking objects from samples called sampling or respondents, the sampling method using the Saturated Sample Technique. the research sample is 60 respondents. The data analysis method used in the study includes instrument testing consisting of validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing consisting of normality testing, multicollinearity testing, autocorrelation testing, heteroscedasticity testing, multiple linear regression testing, correlation coefficients, determination coefficient tests, hypothesis testing consisting of partial t tests and simultaneous f tests. From the results of this study it can be concluded that Organizational Culture has a positive and significant influence on employee performance with a value of > or or (6.435 > 2.002) and is reinforced with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. Thus, Ho1 is rejected and Ha1 is accepted. Work Discipline has a positive and significant influence on Employee Performance with a value of > or (6.010 > 2.002) and is strengthened with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, Ho2 is rejected and Ha2 is accepted. Organizational Culture and Work Discipline have a positive and significant influence on Employee Performance with a value of > or (25.534 > 3.16) and is strengthened with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, Ho3 is rejected and Ha3 is accepted. Organizational Culture and Work Discipline on Employee Performance have an effect Y = 10.976 + 0.434 X1 + 0.299 X. The result of the R-square value (determination coefficient) is 0.473, it can be concluded that the variables of Organizational Culture (X1) and Work Discipline (X2) together have a contribution to the influence of the Employee Performance variable (Y) of 47.3% while the remaining 52.7% is influenced by other factors or variables that are not studied..

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Competence and Compensation on Employee Performance both partially and simultaneously at PT. Siscom Technologies. This research method uses a quantitative method. The data collection methods used are primary and secondary data. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling and the sample obtained in this study amounted to 61 respondents. Data analysis is performed using SPSS version 26. The analysis techniques used are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, normality testing, multicollinearity testing, heteroscedasticity testing, autocorrelation test, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient test, coefficient of determination test, and hypothesis test. Partial hypothesis test of the competency variable (X1) obtained a t-value > t-table (4.784 > 1.671) and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. This means that competency (X1) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y). Partial hypothesis testing of the compensation variable (X2) obtained a t-value > t-table (8.338 > 1.671). This means that compensation (X2) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y). Simultaneous hypothesis testing obtained an fcount > ftable (36.564 > 3.156) and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that competence (X1) and compensation (X2) have a significant simultaneous effect on employee performance (Y). Determination obtained an R square of 0.558, meaning that the variables of work competence and compensation together have an influence contribution of 55.8% of employee performance. While the remaining 44.2% was influenced by other factors that were not studied in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work environment and communication on employee performance at the Indonesian Red Cross in South Jakarta, both partially and simultaneously. The research type uses associative quantitative methods. The sample of this study consists of 75 respondents who are employees of PMI South Jakarta. Data analysis techniques used include data instrument testing, classical assumption testing, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, correlation coefficient, and coefficient of determination. Hypothesis testing uses t-test and F-test. The analysis results show work environment partially affects employee performance with a simple linear regression equation of 11.870 + 0.711 X1. The correlation coefficient value is 0.721, meaning it has a strong relationship level, and the coefficient of determination is 0.520, meaning employee performance is influenced by work environment by 52%. This is proven by the t-test obtaining a t-calculated value > t-table (8.895 > 1.993) and strengthened by a significance value < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). Communication partially has a positive effect on employee performance, shown by the simple linear regression equation Y = 4.623 + 0.868 X2. The correlation coefficient value is 0.815, meaning it has a strong relationship, and the coefficient of determination is 0.664, meaning performance is influenced by communication by 66.4%. This is proven by the t-test obtaining a t-calculated value > t-table (12.010 > 1.993) and strengthened by a significance value < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). The research results of work environment and communication simultaneously on employee performance are shown by the multiple linear regression equation Y = 3.689 + 0.194 X1 + 0.701 X2, with a correlation coefficient value of 0.823, meaning it has a strong relationship level, and a coefficient of determination of 0.678, meaning performance is influenced by work environment and communication by 67.8%. This is proven by the hypothesis test results using F-test obtaining an F-calculated value > F-table (75.812 > 3.12) and strengthened by a significance value < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). Thus, it is proven that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.
