The aim of this paper is to explore the concept of God’s divine calling and His provision for Ministers within the Christian faith using heuristic inquiry framework. It argues that God calls Ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to service and provides accordingly for the sustenance of that call. Firstly He calls them into knowing and obeying Him. That ultimately, leads to service. What does spiritual calling entails? What are the perceptions of God’s call to his disciples? How does God call disciples into Ministry? These are the three questions the study attempted to contribute answers to. Data was collected from seven co-researchers who were between 29 and 54 years of age. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect the data. The data was analyzed and synthesized using Moustakas (1990) approach and four themes emerged. The results revealed that there are different approaches used by God to call His people into Ministry. The age and gender are not the major variables considered in the calling. The study concluded that a relationship with God is an important factor in the call of the Lord.

This study explores the concept of living hadith in the socio-religious practices of Kebun Durian Village, focusing on the tradition of animal sacrifice as an expression of gratitude. Unlike the conventional approach to hadith that emphasizes textual and legal interpretations, this research examines how hadith is brought to life through the community’s everyday actions. The tradition in Kebun Durian is unique, as animal sacrifices are performed not only during major Islamic celebrations like Eid al-Adha but also during personal milestones, such as acquiring new possessions or preparing for significant activities. Utilizing a qualitative and phenomenological approach, the study involved direct observations and in-depth interviews with local leaders and traditional practitioners to understand the deeper meanings and procedures behind this practice. The findings reveal that the community perceives hadith as a dynamic guide integrated into their cultural fabric, demonstrating gratitude, charity, and spiritual devotion. This tradition not only strengthens social bonds but also enriches the community’s religious identity, emphasizing the integration of Islamic teachings with local customs.

Aceh is a region in Indonesia that implements Sharia Law as its legal foundation. However, violations of this policy, particularly among youth, remain prevalent. Understanding students' perceptions of this implementation is crucial, as they play a pivotal role as agents of social change. This study employs a descriptive quantitative survey approach, using a purposive sampling method to collect data from 95 students at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Syiah Kuala University (FISIP USK). Data were gathered through a structured questionnaire with Likert-scale responses, focusing on three indicators: understanding, attitudes, and evaluation of Sharia Law implementation. The findings reveal that students generally have a positive perception of Sharia Law, with 66.3% expressing agreement regarding its understanding, 66.3% showing support in their attitudes, and 65.1% positively evaluating its implementation. The study underscores the influence of personal experiences, social environments, and media exposure on shaping perceptions. It also emphasizes the need for improved education on Sharia Law and collaborative efforts between the government and educational institutions to enhance awareness and adherence among youth. This research contributes to understanding the dynamics of Sharia Law implementation in Aceh, offering insights for policymakers to strengthen legal education for youth
