Prosiding ini berisi makalah-makalah yang telah dipaparkan dalam kegiatan Seminar Nasional Ilmu Manajemen, Ekonomi, Keuangan dan Bisnis (IMEKB) yang diselenggarakan setiap 2 semester, tema IMEKB akan berbeda-beda sesuai dengan isu-isu bisnis-ekonomi terbaru yang sedang terjadi di sekitar kita. Prosiding IMEKB tahun 2022 merupakan prosiding pertama Seminar Nasional Ilmu Manajemen, Ekonomi, Keuangan dan Bisnis (IMEKB) yang diselenggarakan oleh Formosa Publisher pada tahun 2022. Saat ini Prosiding terdaftar dengan E-ISSN 2964-9846. Prosiding SN-IMEKB bertujuan untuk menyediakan media bagi para pendidik, peneliti, cendekiawan, praktisi, dan mahasiswa dari berbagai latar belakang untuk mempresentasikan dan mendiskusikan penelitian, pengetahuan, dan inovasi mereka yang relevan dengan tema seminar. Abstract

Growth is a process towards change that is pursued continuously to improve people's welfare. Exploration of own resources needs to be optimized so that they can be used as input for independent regional economic growth. This study aims to examine the effect of HDI (Human Development Index) and Employed Labor on Economic Growth projected by GRDP (Gross Regional Domestic Product) in East Java. The data is in the form of secondary data obtained through the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) which is then processed using SPSS Version 25 software. The results show that the Human Development Index (IPM) has a significant positive influence on Economic Growth in East Java. Meanwhile, the absorbed workforce has no influence on economic growth in East Java.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused job losses and an economic downturn, requiring strategies to overcome financial challenges. Encouraging a culture of saving from an early age provides many benefits, including instilling discipline, fostering a mindful attitude towards money, and preventing excessive consumption. Financial literacy is essential for avoiding financial problems that arise from low incomes and mismanagement, such as credit abuse and lack of financial planning. Recognizing the importance of financial literacy, this study aims to increase knowledge about deposit insurance programs to improve saving decisions. In addition, improving service quality plays an important role in attracting customers and ensuring success. This study uses primary data obtained from questionnaires distributed to BPR customers in Bali. This study uses qualitative data analysis which includes validity and reliability tests, normality and linearity tests, multicollinearity tests, and heteroscedasticity tests. Regression analysis and multiple linear analysis were used for data analysis.

Abstract

The construction sector is an important sector in producing building products. The construction services sector is able to contribute 10.44% to national GDP in 2021. However, this contribution is considered too minimal for the national GDP. Because many construction service companies admit losses. So that the government stipulates Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) and PP No. 9 of 2022 regarding the final PPh rate, but it is not optimal. Therefore, the government needs to consider applying non-final PPh rates for construction services to overcome this problem. This study used descriptive qualitative and library research data collection techniques. The results of this research are expected to become the basis for changing final PPh to non-final in construction services and increasing tax compliance through bookkeeping as an expansion of the tax base.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has become quite a serious problem, leaving all countries in the world in ruins, almost all development sectors are in disarray, especially in the economic sector. This research aims to combine and optimize the SDG's Program with Local MSMEs as an effort to recover the post-Covid pandemic economy -19. This research method uses a literature study, by analyzing the SDG's programs which have a correlation with the economy, which is then linked to empowering local MSMEs. The results of this research show that the Sustainable Development Goals are still not optimal due to not being on target between planning and budget use, this is what causes slow economic growth, especially in MSMEs, therefore it is necessary to increase awareness to optimize the SDG's Program in an effort to increase and empower Local MSMEs as an effort Indonesia's economic recovery.

Abstract

The activities of the UMKM sector during the Covid-19 pandemic were hampered and triggered the emergence of various problems that led to business bankruptcy. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of the local economy and the stages of social entrepreneurship pursued by Cihil Food UMKM in developing their post-pandemic business in terms of an analysis of the potential and problems that these UMKM have. The research was conducted in Cihideung Ilir Village, Ciampea District, Bogor Regency which took place from February 2023 to May 2023. The data collection method used a qualitative approach through the stages of observation, documentation and in-depth interviews with informants who were processed through qualitative analysis. The results showed that the development efforts carried out by researchers on Cihil Food UMKM opened opportunities for UMKM to adapt to post Covid-19 conditions through the creativity and skills of each member.

Abstract

East Java Province has a high open unemployment rate in Java during 2013-2022. The study aims to determine the effect of inflation and population on open unemployment in East Java Province in 2013-2022. This research is a research using descriptive quantitative method. Data were analyzed using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) model. The results of the study show that inflation has no significant effect on open unemployment in East Java Province in 2013-2022, while the population has a significant effect on open unemployment in East Java Province in 2013-2022.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of microfinance on the productivity of UMKM as an important factor in sustainable economic growth in Indonesia. This study uses multiple linear regression methods and finds that the variable loan amount, loan repayments, and microfinance financial performance have a significant effect on UMKM.

Abstract

Improving the UMKM economy through business legality strategies is a key step in supporting the growth of this sector. With valid business legality, UMKM can more easily access loans, attract investors and enter export markets. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the research were found in developing business operations, creating new jobs, and increasing production. Investor support brings additional innovation and resources, strengthening business competitiveness. As UMKM grow, the local and national economy receives positive impacts, including increasing income and reducing poverty levels. Business legality is the foundation for the success of UMKM in contributing to the economy.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the strategic management of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM). The use of AI in UMKM can provide significant operational efficiency. The research method used is a literature study with bibliometric analysis. The results showed that the use of AI has excellent potential benefits for UMKM in the future. In addition to increasing efficiency, the application of AI can also encourage the liveliness and competitiveness of UMKM in the digital era. With the help of AI, UMKM can adapt quickly to technological developments and develop their business processes more effectively.

Abstract

This qualitative research explores the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Human Resource Management (HRM) and its implications. This study investigates specific areas in HRM where AI is currently being applied and its potential for the future. Ethical considerations, skill requirements, and impact on traditional HR practices are examined as challenges in integrating AI. Additionally, this research explores how AI can improve HRM processes, including efficiency, decision making, and employee experience. Strategies for HR departments to mitigate AI-related challenges while maintaining a harmonious blend of technology and human touch are also discussed. Employees' perceptions, concerns and expectations regarding the integration of AI in HR processes were also analyzed. The study concludes by highlighting the importance of adapting HR practices to the AI ​​era and harnessing the potential of AI for HR improvement.
