Prosiding IMEKB tahun 2022 merupakan prosiding pertama Seminar Nasional Ilmu Manajemen, Ekonomi, Keuangan dan Bisnis (IMEKB) yang diselenggarakan oleh Formosa Publisher pada tahun 2022. Saat ini Prosiding terdaftar dengan E-ISSN 2964-9846. Prosiding SN-IMEKB bertujuan untuk menyediakan media bagi para pendidik, peneliti, cendekiawan, praktisi, dan mahasiswa dari berbagai latar belakang untuk mempresentasikan dan mendiskusikan penelitian, pengetahuan, dan inovasi mereka yang relevan dengan tema seminar. Abstract

The 2024 election in Indonesia is attracting attention because generation Z is predicted to be the largest voter. They are known to be open to innovation, and active in technology, but also face challenges in decision-making and the need for valid information. Research using literature review and statistical analysis methods shows that the greatest influence on generation Z comes from individual development, social engagement, and social media. Social and technological changes shape generation Z as individuals who care about the environment, are critical, and are open to new experiences. SWOT analysis is used to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Despite having strengths such as technological skills, generation Z also has weaknesses such as emotional instability. There are business opportunities in the fields of sports, eco-tourism, electronic services and creative arts, but you need to be alert to threats such as the tendency to be withdrawn and critical. By understanding these factors, businesses can adapt their products and services to capitalize on the potential of the generation Z market.

Abstract

This research explores the impact of post-election economic policy changes on the business world in Indonesia, identifies challenges and opportunities, and recommends adaptation strategies for policymakers and the business world. This study uses qualitative analysis and secondary data from various theoretical perspectives, including Public Choice Theory, Economic Policy Uncertainty Theory, Institutional Theory, Transaction Cost Economics, Resource Dependency Theory, and Strategic Management Theory. This research explores the impact of post-election economic policy changes on businesses, the challenges they face in adapting, and the strategies they can use to mitigate these impacts and take advantage of opportunities. This research provides a comprehensive analysis of post-election economic policy changes in Indonesia, with a focus on strategies for the business world to face policy uncertainty and dynamic market conditions.

Abstract

The 2024 election is a critical point in determining future Indonesian government policies, especially in attracting foreign investment. Investors often adopt a wait-and-see attitude during election periods. Analysis of quarterly and annual data regarding the impact of elections on macroeconomic indicators is crucial for making economic policies. During the election, there was a significant increase in consumption, investment, and money supply, but only the money supply was significantly affected in the quarter before and during the election which was driven by large campaign spending. Investment tends to increase before political uncertainty increases, while consumption rises significantly only during elections, driven by campaign activities. Post-election, increased political stability restored investor confidence and boosted the composite stock price index (IHSG).

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of network quality, brand image and promotion partially and simultaneously on purchasing decisions for Telkomsel package cards, a case study of students of SMK Brigjend Katamso II Medan. The research approach used is associative research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study consisted of all students of SMK Brigjend Katamso II Medan for the 2021/2022 academic year who used the Telkomsel provider as many as 90 students and the sampling technique used a saturated sample where the entire population was sampled, namely 90 people. This study uses primary data and secondary data. The results of this study network quality, brand image, and promotion partially have a positive effect on purchasing decisions. Simultaneous test results (F test) network quality, brand image and promotion have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The results of the determination test obtained that network quality, brand image and promotion have contributed to purchasing decisions by 66.1%, while the remaining 33.9% is influenced by other variables outside this regression model.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the strategies implemented by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in improving the economy of the younger generation. Using a qualitative research method based on literature study, analysis was carried out on various sources documenting MSME practices and strategies related to empowering the younger generation. The research results show that entrepreneurship education plays a vital role in improving the skills and innovative mentality of the younger generation, while the use of digital technology has been proven to expand markets and increase product accessibility. In addition, government policy support and financial access, such as tax incentives and microfinancing, are crucial in creating a conducive environment for the growth of MSMEs and the active participation of the younger generation. This research concludes that collaboration between MSMEs, the government and the younger generation can strengthen the local economy and reduce unemployment among youth.

Abstract

This research explores the application of artificial intelligence (AI) to improve the responsiveness and speed of organizational operations. In the digital era, AI is crucial in optimizing business processes by automating tasks, analyzing real-time data, and supporting data-driven decision-making. The study shows that AI plays a crucial role in accelerating market response, supply chain efficiency, and human resource management. While AI provides a competitive advantage, its success requires infrastructure readiness, workforce skills, and risk management. The results of this study offer effective AI implementation strategies and recommendations for further research on the long-term impact of AI on organizations and employees.

Abstract

This service aims to encourage the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in increasing the effectiveness of Advocates' work. The service process is carried out through literature studies and qualitative analysis that identify the role of AI in the four stages of Advocate case management. Of the four stages, not all can be assisted by AI because they are limited in handling complex human, intuitive, and ethical aspects. The implementation method includes collecting data from journals, books, and legal sources, processed to develop an effective AI application strategy for Advocates. The service is carried out in stages over several months. The results show that AI can accelerate legal analysis and support strategy in the planning stage, but still requires human involvement at other stages. The implication of using AI is increased efficiency, without replacing the important role of Advocates in aspects of legal complexity.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) in human resource management (HR) opens up opportunities for increased effectiveness and efficiency in various tasks, such as training, recruitment, and performance management. The purpose of this article is to look at and analyze how AI can serve as a predictive tool to anticipate future HR needs. This includes identifying the problems organizations face when implementing AI and providing solutions. The role of AI as a predictor tool in determining future human resource needs is discussed in this article through a literature review. This methodology aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how AI can be used to predict future needs and work styles. As a result, AI has the potential to be a predictive tool for HR development, as it can assist organizations in designing the right training programs, managing employee careers, and improving performance analysis. Including the ability to analyze data and provide valuable insights.

Abstract

This research formulates a strategy for developing AI-based digital literacy to prepare globally competitive students at At Taqwa Bondowoso Islamic Institute. Digitalization in higher education is an urgent need so that graduates have skills according to the demands of the times. A qualitative method with a case study approach was used through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results found three main strategies: (1) increasing digital literacy for the entire academic community, (2) integrating an information and communication technology-based curriculum that supports religious knowledge and global skills, and (3) institutional collaboration with external parties to support digital transformation. The implementation of this strategy is expected to create religious higher education institutions that are adaptive to the digital era and produce globally competitive graduates.

Abstract

The performance of Indonesian MSMEs plays an important role in economic growth, with their contribution to GDP reaching 60.34% in 2017. However, Indonesian MSMEs still face challenges, such as low product quality and limited competitiveness, especially in the global market. One proposed solution is the Resource-Based View (RBV) method to improve the competitive advantage of MSMEs. This research develops an RBV model with the support of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, aimed at mapping the strategic resources of MSMEs. This research focuses on Pontianak City MSMEs that have carried out export activities analyzed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. This research created an RBV-based AI framework to assess and manage strategic resources to gain competitive advantage.
