Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the agribusiness subsystem of the "Usaha Ikan Salai Sedap" The results of the study indicated that the applied agribusiness system has been not optimal yet. The production inputs were sufficiently available. Business activities are carried out every day with harvesting 150 kg of Pangasius sp and Clarias sp. The harvesting was done selectively in accordance with the weight of the fish, i.e. 120-140 grams/tail (7-8 tails/kg) for Pangasius sp and 250-300 grams/tail (3-4 tails/kg) for Claria sp. Fresh Pangasius sp and Clarias sp from farming are processed into smoked fish and marketed through marketing institutions. Smoked fish produced from each species (Pangasius sp and Clarias sp) was 37.5 kg each). The added value obtained per kg of raw materials, for Pangasius sp is Rp 7,933.70, and Clarias sp was Rp. 11,760. The profit gained from Pangasius sp and Clarias sp agribusiness for the Pangasius sp and Clarias sp farming activities was Rp 36,297,283.32/process, and Rp 2,233,543.96/process Pangasius sp and Clarias sp for agroindustry activities. Profits from the marketing of Pangasius sp and Clarias sp was as much as Rp 7,419,950. The dominant supporting subsystem in order to support the business activities of the "Usaha Ikan Salai Sedap" agribusiness was financial institutions/banks, counseling, and training.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The way farmers assess the perception of the sustainability of shallot farming will help the government to implement it at the farm level. This research aims to analyze the characteristics of shallot farmers, the perception of farmers on sustainable agriculture, and the relationship between the characteristics of onion farmers with the perception of sustainable development. The location was selected purposively with a reason that Geringging River Village is the initial place for planting shallots in Kampar District which was conducted by 40 farmers. Data were analyzed statistically using a Likert and Chi-Square scale. The results showed that the characteristics of the farmers are productive age, low education level, 2.3 years of farming experience, and the number of dependents of 5 families. The farmers had access to extension workers so that sources of knowledge about sustainable agriculture are obtained from extension staffs. In the economic dimension, the important variables actively cultivate shallot farming and use the high quality of red onion seeds. In the social dimension, there are 6 variables that have very important categories. While the environmental dimension is only variable using proper irrigation water is considered very important. The level of education and sources of knowledge about agriculture had a significant relation to farmers' perceptions of sustainable agriculture. This indicated that sustainable agriculture requires a sufficient level of education, adequate knowledge and a clear source of knowledge.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The objectives of this research are to find out the number of Dayak onion production at various ages of harvest by providing NPK fertilizer 16.16.16. and to find out the content of Flavonoids at various ages with NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer application. The research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Islamic University of Riau for 6 months, starting from March to August 2018. The completely randomized design with factorial 3 x 4 was used. Data were analyzed descriptive approach. The parameters observed were the number of clump tubers, per clump dry weight, Simplicia dry weight, flavonoid content, phenolic content, and antioxidant activity. The results showed that the interaction of NPK 16:16: 16 dosages and harvesting age had no effect on the all observed parameters. The best treatment of NPK 16:16:16 2,5 g/plant (N3) for optimum production and 1,25 g/plant (N1) for maximum total flavonoid content. With the best treatment of NPK 16:16:16 2.5 g/plant (N3) for maximum production and 1.25 g/plant (N1) for maximum total flavonoid content. For optimal age and 5 (months) for maximum total flavonoid content.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Indonesia is the leading producer of palm oil in the world. In 2016 Indonesia and Malaysia produced 81% of the world's palm oil. This study aims to analyze the response of the supply and demand for Indonesian palm oil in the world market. This study used time-series data from 1980-2016. The model built is an econometric model, simultaneous equations. To answer the research objectives, the data were analyzed using the Two Stages Least Square (2SLS) method. The main finding of this study is that in the short term, there are no responsive variables. In the long term, the variable that is responsive to the supply of Indonesian palm oil is the lag area of Indonesian palm oil. In the Malaysian palm oil supply equation, the response variable is the lag area of Malaysian palm oil. In terms of domestic demand for Indonesian palm oil, there are no responsive variables both in the short and long term. In the equation of demand for Malaysian palm oil, the responsive variables are the price of Malaysian palm oil and the price of Malaysian coconut oil. In the international demand for palm oil, the responsive variables are the increase in world palm oil prices, world palm oil prices, 2-year lag in world palm oil prices, and GDP per capita Pakistan. In terms of price, the responsive variable affecting the price of Indonesian palm oil is the world price of palm oil.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to identify and inventory the assets, including form, size, physical, and legal, to know the market value (economic benefits) of the Pekanbaru city, to find out the value of the asset adjusted to its allocation or not, and to know the assets that are required to be optimized. The analysis of the drafting of optimization assets in Pekanbaru City is based on the performance, capacity, quality, and quantity of available assets. The research was carried out at the Pasar Sukaramai area, Jenderal Sudirman Street, Ahmad Yani street, Karet street, and Juanda street of Pekanbaru city. The research locations were selected purposively which are the potential area in Pekanbaru City. Analysis of land use optimization that is the Government’s asset of Pekanbaru City used qualitative and quantitative approaches. A qualitative approach was used to analyze the characteristics of land assets and the surrounding area. The analysis method used in this study was a qualitative analysis that was done inductively. The analysis data was done using the highest and best use analysis (HBU) by analyzing the physical feasibility, regulatory eligibility, financial feasibility, and maximum productivity. The analysis results that are based on identification were obtained: a) there is a need for the firmness of the Pekanbaru City Government in terms of enforcing regulations relating to HPL or issuance of regulations related to HPL for making clear regulations, b. The present retribution has been not optimal yet, so the Regional Original Revenue (PAD) does not increase significantly, and c. Determination of the Land Value Zone (ZNT) consistently by following the market price is extremely required referring to the collaboration in determining the value of the percentage of land ownership.
