Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction effect of BAP and NAA on Crown Nanas Suska Kuala. This research was carried out at the Biotechnology Laboratory of Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Pekanbaru City. This research was conducted for 6 months starting from March to August 2022. The research used a Completely Randomized Factorial Design, consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was the concentration of BAP consisting of 4 levels, namely without treatment, 0.1 ppm, 1 ppm and 10 ppm. The second factor was the NAA concentration consisting of 4 levels, namely without treatment, 0.1 ppm, 1 ppm, and 10 ppm. Each treatment consisted of 3 repetitions to obtain 48 experimental units. In the experimental unit, there were 4 plants and 2 were used as observation samples taken randomly to obtain 192 plants. If the calculated F counted was greater than F table and then will be proceed with the Duncan's test (DMRT) at the p>0.05. The results showed that the interaction of BAP and NAA application to pineapple crown explants had a significantly effect on percentage of explant growth, number of leaves with BAP 10 ppm, and NAA 10 ppm, and number of roots with BAP 1 ppm and NAA 10 ppm. The main effect of BAP 10 ppm was significant on age of shoot emergence, age of root emergence, and number of roots. The main effect of NAA 10 ppm was significant on age of shoot emergence, root emergence age, and number of roots.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the interaction and the main effect between Petrobio biofertilizers and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 fertilizers on the growth and yield of soybean plants. This research was conducted at the experimental farm of Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru from July to October 2019. The design used in the study was a completely randomized design, consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was the dose of Petrobio's Biofertilizer (P), consisting of 4 levels of treatment namely 0, 3, 6, and 9 g per plot. The second factor was NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 (N) fertilizer dosage, consisting of 4 levels, 0, 10, 20, and 30 g per plot. So that the treatment combinations obtained as 16, consisting of 3 replications with a total of 48 experimental units. The observed parameters were plant height, percentage of pods with a healthy crop, crop weight of seeds, the weight of 100 seeds, harvest index, and further tested BNJ at the level of 5%. The results showed that the interaction of Petrobio Biological fertilizers and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 fertilizers was significant for the percentage of pithed pods, crop seed weight, and harvest index. Effect of application of Petrobio Biofertilizer dosage, 9 g per plot and NPK Mutiara fertilizer 16:16:16 30 g per plot P3N3. The main effect of Petrobio biological fertilizer was evident in plant height, net assimilation rate, relative growth rate, and weight of 100 seeds. The best treatment is on Petrobio 9 g per fertilizer plot. The main effect of NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 fertilizer was found in all observed parameters. The best NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 fertilizer treatment was at a dose of 30 g per plot.

Abstract

The fish processing industry has become a priority program in national development. This sector has proven to be able to survive and be competitive. One that has the potential to be developed is the processing of smoked fish in Tanjung Medan Village. However, the supply of raw materials from fishermen's catches continues to decrease along with the decrease in the amount of fish production due to the deteriorating quality of lake water. This has a significant impact on reducing the number of business actors. Thus, it is necessary to conduct a feasibility study to assess whether this business is profitable and sustainable. This study aims to determine the profile of the business and analyze the feasibility of the financial aspect and the sensitivity of production decline and increase in production costs to business feasibility. The research was conducted in Tanjung Medan Village, Tanjung Medan District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The research method used is a survey method. Data were collected from June to November 2022 and analyzed descriptively using 4 investment criteria. The results show that this business is feasible from a financial perspective. All results of the analysis of investment criteria show a positive value, namely an NPV of IDR 69,000,173; IRR 41.57%; Net B/C Ratio of 2.28; and Payback Period of 3 years 1 month. Meanwhile, the results of the sensitivity analysis show that if there is a 10% reduction in production, it will hurt business feasibility. However, if there is an increase in production costs of 12%, this business is still feasible to run.
