<![CDATA[Maternal mortality rates reflect the risks faced by the mother during pregnancy and childbirth. The high rate of maternal death is likely to occur in high risk pregnant women that can not detected earlier. The role of Puskesmas as primary health care facilities and midwives as the spearhead of service, becomes important in this early detection. Therefore, researchers are interested in the effect of competence on the performance of midwives in maternal health services in Puskesmas Mampu PONED Bandung. To determine Competence of Midwives, The Performance of Midwives and to determine the effect of Competence on the Performance of the midwives in Puskesmas Mampu PONED Bandung. The type of this research is verificative analysis with cases study methods. The sampling method using a total sampling method (census). The entire population will be selected as sample that is midwives who work at Puskesmas Mampu PONED Bandung 77 midwive. After data is collected, the data distribution will be tested using the product moment correlation technique. Then the data will proceed with analysis that consists of two parts: a descriptive analysis and regression analysis. The result of correlation analysis, obtained a very strong relationship between the Performance and Competence of the Midwives (r = 0.972). Then from the regression analysis known that there is an influence on the Performance and Competency of the Midwives (t arithmetic = 35.802). <![CDATA[Background; Hypertension in Central Java Province affects 8.700.512 (30,4%) with a prevalance of hypertension in Sragen is 250.035 people. Generally, hypertension is suffered by elderly people. As they age, the elderly develop hypertension due to physiological factors that cause loss of elasticity and stiffness in blood vessels. Uncontrolled hypertension can cause complications and affect the quality life for elderly. Non-pharmacological therapies such as massage to lowering blood pressure. One of the non-pharmacological therapies is Slow Stroke Back Massage (SSBM). Purpose; To describe the results observations of Slow Stroke Back Massage (SSBM) therapy as an effort to reduce blood pressure in elderly people with hypertension. Method; This method uses descriptive case study analysis and a sphygmomanometer to measure blood pressure. SSBM therapy is applied for 10 minutes, 3 times a week, over 4 weeks. Results; After applying SSBM therapy, there was a decrease in respondent I and II's within the category range of stage I hypertension. Conclusion; The application of SSBM therapy in elderly people with hypertension can reduce blood pressure.]]>

<![CDATA[Background: Based on world data, there have been 2.7 million cases of perineal rupture in mothers giving birth. This figure is estimated to reach the highest number collected until 2050, which is 6.3 million. Perineal rupture in Asia also often occurs in society, which is around 50%. According to data from the Indonesian Demographic Health Survey (SDKI), 75% of mothers who give birth in Indonesia experience perineal tears or perineal rupture. Objective: To describe the results of measuring the pain scale using the cold compress method. Method: This study method uses a case study method with a descriptive design and uses a Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) pain measurement sheet, in the cold compress method, the variable measured is perineal wound pain that has been given intervention 3 times a day in a span of 5-10 minutes for 3 days. Results: After cold compresses were given to two respondents who experienced perineal wounds, there was a change in the pain scale which was included in the mild pain category. Conclusion: The application of cold compresses can reduce the scale of perineal wound pain in postpartum patients.]]>

<![CDATA[Background: Indonesia is included in the category of rheumatism sufferers which is quite high, namely 6.3% in the world of the high rate of rheumatism in indonesia. if it is not treated, it will cause swelling and stiffness in the sufferer's joints, resulting in discomfort. for this reason, efforts are needed to control rheumatism. one of the rheumatism therapies is doing back massage. back massage is a technique for giving massage to the back with slow rubbing which provides a feeling of comfort and relaxation to the body. objective: to determine the intensity of the pain scale before and after giving back massage therapy and to see the effect of giving back massage therapy on pain in rheumatism sufferers. method: this type of research uses descriptive research methods and by observing 2 respondents with a history of rheumatism and who were given the implementation of back massage therapy. results: there was a decrease in the intensity of rheumatic pain after giving therapy on Mr. S from a scale of 5 to 2 and in Mrs. G from a pain scale of 6 to a pain scale of 2. Conclusion: there is an effect of giving back massage therapy on pain in rheumatism sufferers.]]>

<![CDATA[Adolescence is a transition period from childhood to adulthood, from the beginning of puberty until maturity is reached. Anxiety arises from emotional states that arise when individuals are stressed. The cause of anxiety is stress, so stress management is needed to control or regulate stress so that anxiety does not trigger the emergence of mental disorders.Accompanied by symptoms of pressure, confusion, fear and external threats. Stress management can anticipate, prevent, manage and recover from stress felt due to threats and inability to cope. The aim of the case study is to provide an overview of the application of stress management to reduce adolescent anxiety levels. The method used descriptive research with a case study approach method. The instrument used the Hamilton Rating Scale For Anxiety (HRS-A) questionnaire sheet. The results showed that the level of anxiety before implementing was 33 for subject I and 30 for subject II in the severe anxiety level category. After implementing the case study, it was found that the level of anxiety decreased, subject I by 15 and subject II by 14 in the mild anxiety category. This research concludes that stress management can reduce anxiety levels in adolescents.]]>

<![CDATA[Background: The period of growth and development of children has the potential to get sick more easily. The onset of illness in children is usually followed by several symptoms, one of which is fever. Hyperthermia is a condition where body temperature increases due to an increase in the thermoregulation center in the hypothalamus. Normal temperature in children, where the body's cell tissue works optimally, is between 36.5-37.5ºC. The prevalence of fever cases in children in the 2023 Indonesian Health Survey, with fever in children aged 1-4 years, was 59,235 children. One non-pharmacological therapy that can be used is Water Tepid Sponge. Objective: This study describes the results of measuring body temperature before and after water tepid sponge therapy. Method: This research used a case study of 2 respondents conducted on 31 July – 2 August 2024 for 1 time a day, therapy duration 15 – 30 minutes. Results: the application of water tepid sponge therapy to the two respondents showed comparative results of development before and after therapy in An. Az the temperature drops by 1-1.1º while in An. My body temperature drops by around 1-1.2ºC. Conclusion: The results of the study can be concluded that there was an effect of water tepid sponge therapy on reducing body temperature in both respondents.]]>

<![CDATA[Background: Menstrual pain in the world is very high, 50% of women worldwide, Bulgaria 8.8%, Finland 94% while Indonesia 64.25%. Menstrual pain causes short and long term adverse effects including interference with daily activities and even an increase in absenteeism at the campus, long-term effects cause tissue growth outside the uterus. Menstrual pain can be treated with pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies. One of the non-pharmacological therapies is inhaling lemon aromatherapy. Limeone contains lots of vitamin C which will control prostaglandins and reduce pain. Objective: To describe the results before and after the application of lemon aromatherapy on reducing menstrual pain. Methods: Case study with descriptive design on 2 respondents who were given lemon aromatherapy for 15 minutes twice a day for 2 days, and measured using Numeric Rating Scale. Results: After lemon aromatherapy was performed on both respondents with menstrual pain, it showed a decrease in the pain scale from moderate pain to mild pain. <![CDATA[Background: The prevalence of gouty arthritis has increased significantly by 2023, reaching 33.3% according to WHO. In Indonesia, 35% of cases occur in men aged over 45 years, while Central Java has a prevalence of 26.4%. In Sukoharjo District, Mandan Village recorded the highest number of gout patients with 150 cases, followed by Gayam (75 cases) and Sukoharjo (35 cases). The use of warm water compresses is recommended to relieve joint pain due to gouty arthritis by increasing blood flow and reducing joint stiffness. Objective: Knowing changes in the pain scale in two respondents with gouty arthritis before and after a warm compress method: This research is applied research with a case study using pre-post test results: There was a decrease in Mrs. S's pain scale which initially 6 decreased to 3 while in Mr. T, the pain scale 7 decreased to 5. Mr. T is a pain scale of 7 decreasing to 5. Conclusion: After the application of warm compresses on Mrs. S and Mr. T, there was a decrease in the pain scale. T there is a decrease in the pain scale. Mrs. S from moderate pain to mild pain, Mr. T from severe pain to moderate pain. T from severe pain to moderatepain. This shows that warm compresses can reduce pain in people with gout.]]>

<![CDATA[Gastritis is a disease that is often found in the general public, this disease affects all walks of life according to the World Health Organization. The incidence of gastritis in the world is around 1.8-2.1 million of the total population each year. According to data obtained from the Weru Health Center ranks 10th out of 20 major diseases at the Weru Health Center, reaching 149 cases. Guide Imagery is one of the pain distraction techniques aimed at handling pain, lowering blood pressure, relieving anxiety. One group pre test and post design method, the subjects in this research case study were 2 respondents who experienced gastritis, 1 application of guide imagery was carried out for 3 days with a duration of 15 minutes. After the guide imagery technique, 1 application for 3 days, both respondents experienced a decrease in the epigastric pain scale from a moderate pain scale to a mild pain scale, Mrs. S from scale 5 to 2 and Mrs. M from scale 4 to 1. Guide imagery is very effective for reducing epigastric pain in gastritis patients.]]>

<![CDATA[Diabetic ulcers is a complication of diabetes mellitus resulting from autonomic neuropathy and/or vascular disorders of the limbs. One of the diabetic ulcer treatment techniques is using aloe vera gel contains anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and can repair tissue damage of diabetic ulcers.. To determine changes after applying aloe vera gel to diabetic ulcer wound healing. This research uses descriptive case studies by observing nursing care for diabetic ulcer patients using aloe vera gel at the Boyolali with an application 3x and application is carried out every 2 days using the Bates-Jensen Wound Assessment Tool. Results: The results of the assessment score before application in respondent 1 score 24 points with categories wound regeneration and respondent 2 score 30 points with categories wound regeneration. After application with aloe vera gel the score on respondent 1 was 14 points with categories wound regeneration while on respondent 2 was 11 points with categories Tissue Health. The application of aloe vera gel can be used as an effective nonpharmacological method for diabetic ulcer wound.]]>
