Using chemical drugs to relieve pain after caesarean section surgery can cause dangerous side effects when used for a long time. The aim of this research is to provide nursing care for postpartum mothers and caesarean section mothers including: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. In writing this scientific work, the author used methods including: observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. There are 5 analytical methods used, namely: assessment, nursing diagnosis, nursing intervention, nursing implementation, and nursing evaluation. During the assessment, pain and sleep disturbances were found. The nursing diagnosis showed that there was a wound in the lower abdomen from the operation. Nursing intervention by providing health education materials and media so that knowledge increases. Implement health care by removing the dressing slowly, cleaning with NaCl fluid, and monitoring for signs of infection. Nursing evaluation found that cleaning the wound and changing the dressing had no complaints and the wound on the stomach was dry, there was no redness and there were no signs of infection. The application can provide good nursing care for caesarean-section mothers and increase knowledge about parenting patterns for mothers who have had caesarean-section operations.

This study aims to analyze the influence of family support and self-acceptance on quality of life through compliance with routine hemodialysis visits at Haji Hospital Jakarta. This research is quantitative, with a causal relationship model. This research will be carried out at the Jakarta Haji Hospital. This research will be carried out from October to December 2023, with a sample of 109 respondents using a purposive sampling technique, namely patients aged ≥ 18 years (adults) and who have been undergoing hemodialysis for at least 1 month. Analysis techniques use univariate, bivariate, and multivariate and multiple linear regression. Abstract

The level of repeat visit interest of patients in the Hospital Outpatient Clinic in April, June, July, August was relatively decreased. This decrease in repeat visit interest needs to be further examined to understand the factors involved. This study is to link the marketing mix implemented by the Hospital and the hospital image to the repeat visit interest to the hospital through patient experience. This study aims to analyze the effect of the marketing mix and hospital image on the repeat visit interest to the hospital with patient experience as an intervening variable in the Hospital Outpatient Clinic. This study uses a quantitative analysis method with a cross-sectional research design. The sample calculation uses purposive sampling of 105. The study used a questionnaire as a research instrument with Likert scale measurements showing that there is a positive and significant influence both simultaneously, directly, and indirectly between the marketing mix and hospital image on the repeat visit interest to the hospital with patient experience as an intervening variable in the Hospital Outpatient Clinic. Thus, the research hypothesis is accepted. Implications need to improve the hospital image through various media, improve the direction system, improve communication between doctors and patients and follow-up after visits

Abstract

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a clinical condition characterized by an irreversible decline in kidney function to a degree that requires permanent renal replacement therapy, in the form of dialysis or kidney transplantation. One of the clinical syndromes that occurs in kidney failure is uremia. This is caused by decreased kidney function. CKD disease will cause kidney function and role to continue to decline (progressive) and cannot return (irreversible) (Sherwood, 2016). This study aims to determine the effect of Murotal Al-Qur'an distraction therapy on reducing anxiety levels in CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis at Toto Kabila Regional Hospital. This research uses a quantitative research design with a Quasy Experimental research design involving an intervention group and a control group. The population in this study were all CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis at Toto Kabila Regional Hospital. The sample in this research consisted of 15 respondents, the data collection technique was making observations and using a questionnaire sheet. Based on the results of the analysis in the treatment group, the results showed that the level of moderate anxiety was 5 respondents (62.5%), and mild anxiety was 3 respondents (37.5%). In the control group, the results showed that the level of moderate anxiety was 5 respondents (71.4%), and the results of severe anxiety were 2 respondents (28.6%). The results of statistical tests in the treatment group obtained a P-value of 0.01 and in control group 0.03 which means <0.05 so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted which means there is an effect of Murotal Al-Quran Distraction Therapy on reducing anxiety levels in CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis at Toto Kabila Regional Hospital.

Non-pharmacological therapy acupressure therapy can be an option for the elderly to overcome hypertension. Objective: To describe the results of the comparison of blood pressure reduction in the elderly before and after the application of acupressure therapy on 2 (two) respondents. Methods: This study uses a descriptive method, selecting samples according to the inclusion criteria and selecting 2 elderly respondents who experience hypertension. The research instrument used a digital Sphygmomanometer and the research was carried out 15 minutes for 3 consecutive days. Results: There was a decrease in systolic pressure in Mrs. T by 10 mmHg and a decrease in Mrs. P's systolic pressure by 7 mmHg. While the diastolic pressure of Mrs. T was 12 mmHg and Mrs. P decreased by 10 mmHg. The results of the application of acupressure therapy on both respondents showed a change in blood pressure reduction from previously included in the classification of grade 1 hypertension to high normal. Conclusion: There are differences before and after acupressure in elderly hypertension.

Abstract

Behçet's disease is a multisystem inflammatory disorder that can significantly impact patients' quality of life. This study conducts a meta-analysis aimed at elucidating the effects of social anxiety on treatment outcomes for Behçet's disease through a comprehensive synthesis of existing literature. Initially, a systematic search was performed across major electronic databases to identify relevant studies published between 2014 and 2024. Out of 1,253 initially identified articles, 18 studies met the inclusion criteria, encompassing 2,487 Behçet's disease patients. The meta-analysis revealed a significant negative correlation between social anxiety levels and treatment adherence for Behçet's disease (r = -0.42, p < 0.001), which was positively associated with disease symptom severity (g = 0.58, 95% CI [0.41, 0.75]). Moderator analysis indicated that the effect of social anxiety on Behçet's treatment outcomes was more pronounced in patients with mucocutaneous manifestations (Q = 7.23, p = 0.007). Additionally, social anxiety showed a strong negative correlation with patients' quality of life in health (r = -0.53, p < 0.001), with the most substantial impact observed in the social functioning domain. Furthermore, thematic analysis of the potential mechanisms underlying the relationship between anxiety and Behçet's treatment outcomes confirmed the mediating roles of patient-doctor communication barriers, increased stigma perception, and avoidance behaviour. These findings underscore the importance of assessing and addressing social anxiety in the comprehensive management of Behçet's disease. The researchers suggest that these findings could have implications for improving patient treatment and quality of life. Finally, the study supports the integration of targeted psychological interventions into standard care protocols for Behçet's disease and emphasizes the need for a biopsychosocial approach to managing this condition.
