Abstract

The development of financial technology in Indonesia, particularly digital wallets, has transformed how university students manage personal finances, facilitating daily transactions but potentially encouraging impulsive spending. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the intensity of digital wallet usage and students’ personal financial control, identify financial behavior factors mediating this relationship, and evaluate differences between heavy and light users. The research employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational design, collecting data through online questionnaires from 150 active university students in Indonesia, complemented by in-depth interviews with three informants to capture subjective perspectives. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that the intensity of digital wallet usage significantly affects students’ financial control; transaction tracking and notification features enhance spending awareness, while aggressive digital promotions may trigger impulsive purchases. These results highlight the importance of digital financial literacy and self-regulation to maximize the benefits of digital wallets. Theoretically, this study expands the literature on digital financial behavior and student self-regulation, while practically, the findings provide implications for universities and digital wallet providers to develop financial literacy programs and application features that promote financial discipline and responsible money management.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the challenges modern cooperatives in Indonesia face in managing human resources (HR) that are not only oriented toward economic efficiency but also maintain collective values such as togetherness, participation, and social responsibility. This research aims to develop a human resource management model grounded in collective values within modern cooperatives. The research method uses a mixed-methods approach with a sequential exploratory design, in which multiple case studies serve as the primary qualitative method, and quantitative data are used only to support. The study was conducted at three cooperatives: Kospin Jasa, Kopkun Cooperative, and Koperasi Setia Kawan. Qualitative data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, and then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques with NVivo 14. The research findings indicate that collective values are concretely operationalized in human resource recruitment, training, and performance evaluation systems, supported by numerical indicators such as the Collectivity Index, and are associated with an average 22% increase in internal productivity. These findings suggest that collective values can be formulated as a structural component in the modern cooperative human resource management model, contributing to organizational performance and sustainability

Abstract

Digital transformation compels Indonesian digital startups to remain agile in responding to rapid market and technological changes. The high failure rate among startups indicates that business sustainability cannot rely solely on technological innovation but must be supported by organizational agility—the ability to adapt quickly, innovate continuously, and manage dynamic environments effectively. This study aims to analyze the role of organizational agility in ensuring business sustainability among digital startups in Indonesia. Using a quantitative explanatory approach, web-based questionnaires were distributed to 200 startup managers across various digital sectors. Data were analyzed with Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to assess the effects of four agility dimensions: structural flexibility, adaptability speed, innovation capability, and market responsiveness. The findings reveal that all agility dimensions significantly and positively affect business sustainability, with innovation capability emerging as the most influential factor. The R² value of 0.68 indicates that agility accounts for a substantial portion of the variance in the sustainability of digital startups. Theoretically, this study reinforces the dynamic capabilities framework by positioning agility as the core strategic link between internal transformation and external environmental changes. In practice, it suggests that startups should foster innovation, accelerate decision-making, and leverage these insights to shape policies that support a sustainable digital ecosystem.

Abstract

The evolution of digital tech has completely transformed traditional ways of working in the accounting field, making accounting automation a primary tool for reducing expenses and increasing operational efficiency. The use of RPA, cloud accounting, and AI is fundamental to cost-performance optimization for service organizations that rely primarily on the speed and precision of information. The present research aspires to make an empirical investigation into the effect of accounting automation on the cost efficiency of service firms in Indonesia. The examination is conducted using a fixed-effects panel data regression model (Fixed Effects Model) with 240 observations from 40 service firms for the period 2018–2023. The analysis shows that accounting automation is positively and significantly correlated with cost efficiency (coefficient = 0.283; p < 0.05). On the other hand, firm size and digitalization have a positive impact, but leverage still does not significantly affect the result. The overall effect of the independent variables on the dependent variable is very strong, as indicated by an R² of 0.712. The research is innovative in several ways, including the use of panel data to uncover the long-term effects of automation and the application of TCE and TAM theories to cost efficiency. The results support the idea that accounting automation is not only a technological change but also a powerful management strategy for improving cost efficiency and enhancing the competitiveness of service firms in the digital era.

Abstract

The shift to green manufacturing has become a strategic imperative due to increasing regulatory pressure and market demand for energy-efficient, low-emission products. Nevertheless, in Indonesia's manufacturing sector, data limitations and process uncertainties still prevent effective operational decision-making. The purpose of the present research is to develop a Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS) model that can evaluate both operational and environmental impacts simultaneously, thereby enabling the formulation of adaptive green production strategies. The research uses a quantitative approach based on stochastic simulation. It gathers data from a sample of 15 green manufacturing companies over 12 months, covering variables such as energy consumption, machine efficiency, production output, and CO₂ emissions. The results suggest that green automation application leads to a 14% increase in operational efficiency and a 28% decrease in carbon emissions compared with baseline conditions. Sensitivity analysis indicates that machine efficiency and energy consumption are the most significant factors affecting sustainable performance. The originality of this research lies in the unique combination of operational and ecological dimensions within a probabilistic framework that remains useful even with limited data. In practice, the model is a decision-making tool based on evidence for managers and policymakers in the industry, helping them implement low-carbon manufacturing strategies more quickly.

Abstract

The digital transformation and the adoption of hybrid workplaces in the wake of the pandemic have reshaped the workplace landscape and, at the same time, posed new threats to employees' well-being, including digital stress, emotional burnout, and reduced social interaction. In this scenario, People Analytics is a vital, data-driven, and real-time method for recognizing employee behavior, participation, and well-being. The present research aims to examine the effect of People Analytics adoption on employee well-being in the hybrid work era, with employee engagement as a mediator and data ethics as a moderator. A quantitative explanatory approach is taken for the study, and 400 participants from the service and technology sectors in Indonesia are involved. The data is analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to reveal relationships among variables. The results show that People Analytics has a positive and significant effect on employee well-being (β = 0.527; p < 0.001). Employee engagement partially mediates this relationship, and data ethics further strengthens it. The uniqueness of this study lies in the creation of the People Analytics for Well-being (PAW) Framework, which integrates well-being, engagement, and data ethics dimensions within human resource analytics systems. This study theoretically broadens the discussion of Human Resource Analytics and, in practice, offers ethical guidelines for organizations to balance productivity and employee well-being in the hybrid work era.
