Abstract

This research examines the Muslim-Hindu Conflict in Contemporary India (Narendra Modi's Reign) The Sangh Parivar is a nationalist Hindu organization consisting of the Vishva Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The group seeks to establish Hindu Rashtra, an Indian theocracy that adheres to Hindu principles. However, the Sangh Parivar is not a purely religious organization. The construction of India as a Hindu state is the result of the application of the ideology of Hindutva, which is the ideology of modern Indian society derived from Hinduism. The method used for this study is qualitative research and literature study, this study explores how Hindutva ideology and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Based on the theory put forward by Appleby called the term "strong religion", which argues that religion with a fundamentalist nature can be a deadly force. The results show that the conflict that occurred in India is a religious conflict that is ridden by political interests. This finding emphasizes the importance of understanding the nature of religion in everyday life.

Abstract

Evaluation of training results is a very important stage in training because it provides feedback on training effectiveness that can be used to improve training design. The aim of this research is to analyze the results of the Daurah Tahsin level 1 and level 2 training evaluations from Kirkpatrick Analisys, provide actions that need to be taken in relation to the results of the analysis, and provide suggestions in the form of measuring tools that can help training implementers carry out level 3 evaluations from Kirkpatrick Analisys . The method used in this research is a descriptive analysis method where the data obtained is described and then analyzed. The results of this research were that the majority of training participants were satisfied with the implementation of the Daurah Tahsin training and were able to understand well the materials provided during the Daurah Tahsin training. Improving the quality of trainers and materials tailored to the participants' initial level of understanding are suggestions given to increase the effectiveness of training. A proposed measuring tool in the form of a questionnaire that can measure, process and analyze the evaluation of Daurah Tahsin training at level 3 of Kirkpatrick Analysis is also provided so that training implementers can measure the impact of this training on improving or increasing the memurajaah (repeating memorization) and ziyadah (increasing memorization) of the participants.

Abstract

Islam Nusantara is very important to recognize Islamic identity in Indonesia and strengthen harmony and tolerance between religions. Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), the largest Islamic organization in Indonesia, has a unique view of Indonesian Islam, which combines the values ​​of tolerance, tawazun and justice, and emphasizes the harmonization of Islamic values ​​with local wisdom. Islam Nusantara shows Islam's ability to adapt to local culture without sacrificing the essence of its teachings and plays a role in creating a harmonious and tolerant environment. In the era of globalization, Islam Nusantara provides a model for adapting Islam that maintains local identity and offers a moderate and inclusive approach as an anti-extremist ideology. The focus of this research is on NU because of its great influence in Indonesia, its moderate and inclusive approach, and its long history of integrating Islamic values ​​with local wisdom. This research aims to understand the importance of Islam Nusantara for NU and its impact on social, national and state life, as well as its contribution in strengthening the values ​​of moderation and pluralism in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research examines the concept of religious moderation from a Christian perspective and its implementation in contemporary life. The primary focus of the study is to understand the values of religious moderation such as love, tolerance, and appreciation of religious diversity, based on the teachings and example of Jesus Christ. The method of literature review is used to explore theological literature, academic works, and church practices that illustrate the application of religious moderation in various contexts. The findings indicate that religious moderation is not only crucial for fostering harmony within the Christian community but also for promoting interfaith peace in an increasingly complex and diverse world. Challenges in implementing religious moderation include extremism, interreligious misunderstanding, and internal theological conflicts. However, opportunities to strengthen interfaith dialogue, build social cohesion, and promote universal values such as social justice and humanitarianism are also abundant. Therefore, this research provides not only a theoretical foundation on religious moderation in the Christian context but also practical recommendations for applying these values in everyday life, making the Christian community a positive agent of change towards a more inclusive and harmonious society.

Abstract

This study aims to describe Muhammadiyah's views on religious tolerance and its role in building and maintaining tolerance in Indonesia. Through a literature study and hermeneutic approach, this research finds that Muhammadiyah views tolerance as a form of universal human brotherhood that is in line with Islamic teachings. Muhammadiyah implements tolerance in various inclusive social, educational, and health programs, including the acceptance of non-Muslim students in its educational institutions. Muhammadiyah's moderate and inclusive approach plays a crucial role in promoting harmony and inter-religious harmony in Indonesia, as well as actively contributing to the nation's intellectual life and general welfare. This study affirms Muhammadiyah's contribution to promoting religious tolerance and provides a tangible example of the application of tolerance values in daily life.
