Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The data that has been collected was then processed by running the SPSS computer program version 25.0 to be analyzed with the chi square statistical test with a significance level (α) of 0.05. The results of the study with the chi square test showed a p-value of 0.000 with a significant level <0.05. The p-value (0.000) is smaller than α (0.05) so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The conclusion is that there is a significant correlation between knowledge about mental disorders with the ability of families to care for people with mental disorders.

Schizophrenia is a severe neuropsychiatric disorder that affects approximately 1% of the population, and is characterized by serious impairments in cognition, emotion and social functioning. The MTHFR gene is a key enzyme in folic acid metabolism, which plays an important role in biochemical processes in the body. One of the common genetic polymorphisms in MTHFR is C677T (rs1801133). Relevant articles were searched through an electronic database, Google Scholar, using the keywords “Relationship Between MTHFR C677T Gene and Schizophrenia”. MTHFR C677T can affect homocysteine metabolism, which in turn can affect the production of brain neurotransmitters such as dopamine and serotonin. An imbalance of these neurotransmitters has long been associated with schizophrenia. Environmental factors, such as stress, trauma, and social factors, also play an important role in the development of mental disorders, along with genetic factors such as MTHFR C677T.

Risk assessment, identification and management of hazards, documentation, analysis, and follow-up of accidents, and recovery provisions to reduce risks and prevent injuries are part of patient safety. The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between nurse workload and the implementation of patient safety in the Emergency Department (IGD) of Maria Walanda Maramis Regional General Hospital. The research uses a cross-sectional design. The sample in this study consisted of 22 respondents using the purposive sampling technique. Data collection on workload and the implementation of patient safety was conducted using a questionnaire, and analyzed using the Spearman rho statistical test. The research results majority of the workload was found to be in the light category, with 15 respondents (68.2%). The application of patient safety in the least category was poor, with 6 respondents (27.3%), while the most was in the good category, with 16 respondents (72.7%). The results of the Spearman rho test obtained a p-value of 0.032 where < α 0.05. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the nurses' workload and the implementation of patient safety in the Emergency Room (IGD) of Maria Walanda Maramis Regional General Hospital. It is recommended that nurses become more aware of the importance of fatigue management and effective coping strategies to maintain the quality of patient care.

Awareness and support from husbands toward the Family Planning (FP) program play an important role in determining contraceptive use participation in Indonesia. However, male participation in FP programs remains relatively low, especially in the Tasikmalaya area. Therefore, this study was conducted to describe the level of knowledge and support from husbands regarding the Family Planning program among traders at Cikurubuk Market, Tasikmalaya City. This research employed an observational method with a cross-sectional study design, involving 30 respondents selected through total sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed descriptively. The findings showed that respondents had a good level of knowledge about FP (53.3%) and received support from their husbands in using contraceptives (56.7%), with most information about FP obtained from healthcare workers (56.7%).These findings imply the need to enhance educational programs about Family Planning specifically targeting men, to raise awareness and increase husbands’ involvement, as well as to strengthen the dissemination of information within communities, especially in workplaces and other informal work environments.

Pneumonia is an acute respiratory infection that remains a major public health issue in Indonesia, particularly among infants and children. West Java is among the provinces with a high number of cases, and in 2024, Tasikmalaya City reported 2,178 cases, with Cilembang Public Health Center (Puskesmas Cilembang) recording the highest number. This study aims to evaluate the P2 ISPA (pneumonia) surveillance system at UPTD Puskesmas Cilembang. A descriptive-evaluative method was used, involving interviews, document reviews, and observations with surveillance and P2 ISPA program officers at the Tasikmalaya City Health Office and Puskesmas Cilembang. The findings indicate that the pneumonia surveillance implementation at Puskesmas Cilembang is fairly adequate, although improvements are needed to better align with current guidelines and government regulations.

Pediculosis capitis is an infestation of head lice Pediculus humanus capitis that live on the scalp and suck blood as a source of nutrition. Transmission occurs through direct contact or sharing personal items, especially in environments with poor sanitation. Risk factors include age, population density, personal hygiene, and socioeconomic status. Symptoms include severe itching due to a reaction to the saliva of the lice, which can cause excoriation, irritation, and secondary infections such as pyoderma. In this report, a 17-year-old girl complained of scabs, pain, heat, and itching on the head and neck. Lice and lice eggs were found, as well as ecthyma lesions in the form of pustules, yellow crusts, and excoriations in the occipital area and back of the neck. The therapy given was a combination of drug and non-drug treatment. The evaluation results showed improvement in symptoms. This case emphasizes the importance of early diagnosis and comprehensive management to prevent reinfection.

This research using pre experimental designs. The sample was 16 respondents using accidental sampling technique. Data collection by distributing questionnaires, then processed using the McNemar statistical test with a significance level of α = 0.05. Before being given health education using video media 56.3% of respondents had poor knowledge after being given health education 87.5% of respondents had good knowledge. The McNemar test results obtained a p-value of 0.016, meaning that there is an effect of health education using video media on mothers knowledge.

Laminectomy surgery requires optimal airway management due to the prone position of the patient. General anesthesia using Endotracheal Tube (ETT) is commonly used to maintain airway patency and adequate ventilation throughout the procedure. This is a descriptive observational study involving five patients with lumbar spinal stenosis who underwent laminectomy surgery under general anesthesia with ETT at RSUD Pandan Arang Boyolali. All patients were successfully intubated with nom kinking ETT using the MILI technique and video laryngoscope. During surgery, ventilation and hemodynamics remained stable with continuous monitoring of ETCO₂, SpO₂, MAP, and CVP. No major airway complications were reported. A systematic airway management approach using non kinking ETT, MILI technique, and invasive monitoring proved safe and effective for laminectomy surgery in the prone position.
