Indonesian Scholar Journal of Nursing and Midwifery Science is a scientific journal that focuses on nursing and midwifery science aspect. Indonesian Scholar Journal of Nursing and Midfwifery calls for scientific articles focused on nursing and midwifery, both in clinical and positive aspects. Abstract

Introduction: Learn motivation is very important for the achievement of learning. Learning motivation can be seen in the learning achievement and cognitive aspects of students. Smoking is also one of the negative human habits that have been done for a long time. Aside from the level of addiction in high school students who smoke, students are also often addicted to the name of online games that occur due to peer influence and influence of social environment. Methods: The research used in this study is using quantitative research with correlative design and using the sectional cross, the sampling technique used in this study is the Probability Sampling technique, a sample that will be studied by as many as 100 students. In this study, researchers used questionnaires for smokers and gamers and learn motivation variables. Where in the smoker and gamers questionnaire researchers used 8 questions, and so for the questionnaire motivation learning Researchers also used 5 questions. Statistical test results using the Chi-Square method (x2). Results: The results of statistical tests showed the existence of the relationship between smokers and gamers to learn motivation in Students High School of Taruna Bhakti Cianjur 2021 (p-value = < 0.05) therefore Ho was rejected and Ha accepted. The conclusion is a relationship between smokers and gamers to learn motivation in students of Taruna Bhakti Cianjur 2021. Discussion: The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship between smokers and gamers to learn motivation in High School students of Taruna Bhakti Cianjur 2021.

Abstract

Introduction: COVID-19 stands for coronavirus disease-2019. Initially, the virus was nCoV. Furthermore, experts from the International Committee on Virus Taxonomy (ICTV) called it the SARS-CoV-2 virus because it is very similar to the cause of the SARS outbreak. The high number of positive COVID-19 causes anxiety for nurses. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of anxiety against COVID-19 and the risk of burnout syndrome in nurses in 2021. Methods: This study used a quantitative research design with a cross-sectional method conducted on 70 nurses at Bogor. The statistical test that will be used uses the chi-square test.  Results: This study’s results showed a relationship between the level of anxiety about COVID-19 and the risk of burnout syndrome with a p-value = 0,004.  Discussion: Anxiety about COVID-19 may increase the risk of burnout syndrome.

Abstract

Introduction: Data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health said in Indonesia there are about 305/100,00 live births in the Maternal Mortality Rate (AKI). The report found that the location of maternal deaths that occurred was as much as 77% in hospitals, 15,6% at home, 4,1% on the way to health facilities, 2,5% in other health facilities, and 0.8% elsewhere, in the ratio of maternal-infant deaths in West Java province of Cianjur Regency in January-August 2020 recorded 20 cases of maternal deaths with a ratio of 74,28. The results of health ethnographic research in 2012 in Indonesia found there are health problems of mothers and children related to health culture that are quite concerning, such as pregnant women who continue to work until approaching delivery, cutting the umbilical cord with bamboo that is diverted as a knife. Methods: The method used in this study is the cross-sectional approach. Results: The results of the analysis were obtained as many as 29 (86,7%) respondents with low cultural levels chose faskes, 22 (73,3%) respondents with good support chose faskes and 24 (80,0%) respondents with good counseling chose faskes. Statistical test results were obtained values p = 0,000 and OR = 15,600 for cultural influences, p = 0,025 and OR = 5,042 for family support, p = 0,001 and OR = 9,600 for counseling. Discussion: Then it can be drawn that conclusions from all the variables studied is H0 failed to be rejected

Abstract

Introduction: Surgery on fracture patients will cause pain, as an unpleasant emotional and sensory experience due to tissue damage. Methods: This type of research used a one-group pre-post test design. There is no comparison group (control) with a sample of 58 respondents. The standard instrument used is the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) observation sheet. Results: From the results of univariate data testing, it was found that 77,6% of the sex distribution were male, with an age distribution of < 30 years of 58,6%. From the results of the bivariate test, it was found that there was an effect of deep breathing relaxation techniques accompanied by religious music on reducing pain intensity with a p-value of 0,000. Discussion: The result represented that there is a decrease in pain intensity after deep breathing relaxation techniques are carried out accompanied by religious music.

Abstract

Introduction: The future of a nation depends on the success of toddlers in achieving their growth and development, the growth and development of toddlers at the age of 1-5 years old is also called the golden age because at this stage there is a very large developmental spike, toddler development certainly cannot be separated from the role of parents or guardians caregiver because one of the factors that can affect development is the nurturing environment, proper care will have a good impact so that toddlers can achieve optimal growth and development. Methods: This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional research design, the sampling technique is a random sampling of as many as 93 respondents, the research instrument uses a parenting style questionnaire containing 18 statements using a Likert scale and a developmental pre-screening questionnaire containing 9-10 question.  Results: The test statistics test used is chi-square, the result of the study state that there is a relationship between parenting patterns and the development of toddlers seen from p-value = 0,001 or less than 0,005 meaning H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted.  Discussion: There is a relationship between parenting patterns with the development of toddlers aged 1-5 years old.

Abstract

Introduction: Anxiety is the impact of hospitalization experienced by children because they face stressors in the hospital environment. Forms of anxiety that arise such as restless children, fussy children, and crying, the condition certainly requires a folded strategy so that hospitalized preschoolers can receive programmed medical or nursing measures. One strategy that can be applied is storytelling therapy. Methods: The study used an experimental method involving 25 preschool child respondents. Results: T-Test statistical test results obtained significant numbers or probability values ​​(0.000) much lower standards significantly than 0.05 or (p < ) which means there is a significant difference in pre-school anxiety between before and after being given storytelling therapy. Discussion: Researchers concluded that there was an influence on the level of anxiety of childhood hospitalization before and after storytelling therapy.

Abstract

Introduction: Self-care management in the elderly is judged by their ability to perform daily activities. Daily life activities are functions and activities that are normally done without the help of others. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between peer roles and health status in the management of self-care in the elderly at Panti Werda Budi Thersna Mulya South Jakarta in 2017. Methods: This study uses a cross-sectional design. The sample is 117 elderlies as respondents research. Results: The results showed that most of the peer roles, health status, and management of self-care in Panti Werda Budi Thersna Mulya South Jakarta are good. There is a relationship between peer role in the management of self-care in the elderly with a value of P = 0.026. There is a correlation between health status and management of self-care in the elderly with a P-value = 0.035. Discussion: Research suggestion expected after knowing the results of this study, elderly can further improve the management of self-care in their old age to avoid the feeling of loneliness facing old age.

Abstract

Introduction: Hypertension has become a major problem in world health. One billion people in the world suffer from hypertension two-thirds of them are in developing countries. Middle-low income. The prevalence of hypertension will continue to increase sharply. Hypertension has resulted in deaths occurring in Southeast Asia, where a third of the population suffers from hypertension. Hypertension is closely related to human lifestyle. The lifestyle of the elderly also affects the occurrence of emerging diseases. Lifestyle is broadly defined as a person’s lifestyle in the world which is expressed in his activities, interests, and opinions. Lifestyle describes the whole person who interacts with his environment. Methods: This research is quantitative with the design of correlation research using a cross-sectional design, and random sampling data retrieval techniques using informant questionnaire sheets in this study 60 people were determined by random sampling methods and statistical tests using the Chi-Square test. Results: The results of the statistical test showed that there was a Lifestyle Mutation with The Incidence of Hypertension in the Elderly in Gunungsari Ciranjang Village in 2021 with the results of the statistical test p-value = < 0,05) therefore H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Discussion: Conclusion that there is a lifestyle relationship with the incidence of hypertension in the elderly in Gunungsari Ciranjang Village in 2021.

Abstract

Introduction: Independence is the ability of somebody to respond to what to do with a little help or without help from other people. Existing independence on self child age early could support them in self arrange alone like decision making, problem solution, self believe, social skills, and interpersonal intelligence. WHO considers cleanliness of hands very urgent so we set October 15th as the Day Hand Wash Worldwide. Report Riskesdas in 2018, population data were obtained Indonesia as much as 49,8% already have the habit of washing hands the right way. Purpose: for knowing connection pattern foster, environment, and stimulus to independence in hand hygiene on a child pre-Gideon Kalabahi Christian Kindergarten in 2022.  Methods: Research this use approach quantitative with design studies cross-sectional. Sample whole Gideon Kalabahi Christian Kindergarten student and the master totaling 80 respondents. Instrument use questionnaire as well as sheet observation.  Results: Test statistics chi-square obtained Mark p-value that is 0,003 <ꭤ= 0,05 there is a connection among pattern foster and independence in hand hygiene, there is the connection between the stimulus and independence in hand hygiene Mark p-value 0,007 <ꭤ= 0,05 and no there is connection Among environment and independence in hand hygiene Mark p-value is 0,021 <ꭤ= 0,05.  Discussion: Parents hope as a nanny first could control, guide, and accompany their son going to maturity, because its stimulation with method invites a child to play, sing, and various other activities as well as create a nice environment so that child could grow optimally.

Abstract

Introduction: During the COVID-19 pandemic elderly experience anxiety levels due to fear of contracting the coronavirus, one of the factors that make the level of elderly anxiety increase is the absence of family support in the elderly. COVID-19 (Corona Virus Disease 2019) is a new disease caused by a virus from the Corona Virus group or a disease caused by virus infection severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-Cov-2) or often called the Corona Virus. COVID-19 can cause respiratory system disorders, ranging from mild flu-like symptoms to lung infections, such as pneumonia. COVID-19, known as the Novel Corona Virus, first occurred in the city of Wuhan, China in December 2019. The Corona Virus began spreading to other countries in January 2020. Meanwhile, Indonesia itself announced COVID-19 cases in March 2020 The spread of COVID-19 is currently the most critical global health disaster that has infected more than 100 countries and caused 6,400 deaths.1 On January 7, 2021, COVID-19 cases continued to grow by 87,640,097 cases, which was ranked the highest number of COVID-19 cases, namely the United States with 21,857,616 cases. Meanwhile, Indonesia ranks 20th out of 220 countries infected with Covid-19 with a total number of cases of 797,723 cases (2). Methods: The population in this study was 70 with a sample number of 60 taken using purposive sampling. This research is quantitative with the type of design correlation that is research conducted to connect two variables. Results: The results of the statistical test showed that there was a Mutation of the Relationship between Family Support and Anxiety Levels in the Elderly in Bojonglarang Village, Cijati District, Cianjur Regency in 2021 with the results of a statistical test, the p-value = 0,000 which was < 0,05 so that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Discussion: The relationship between family support and the level of anxiety in the elderly during the COVID-19 pandemic in Bojonglarang Village, Cijati District, Cianjur Regency in 2021, so that families can provide maximum support to the elderly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
