Abstract

Introduction: Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered type of coronavirus. COVID-19 is transmitted during respiratory contacts such as coughing and vomiting. One form of its clinical manifestations interferes with the respiratory system. The process begins with the occurrence of olfactory and taste dysfunction. For example, mechanical blockages that prevent odor from reaching the olfactory nerve can lead to a loss of sense of smell. Washing your nose with NaCl fluid is one of the things that is recommended when infected with COVID-19. Washing the nose is useful to reduce symptoms of anosmia or loss of sense of smell. Methods: This type of research is using quantitative research, with queasy research experimentation through the One Group Pretest and Posttest Design approach, Sampling techniques using Random sampling which is as many as 17 respondents. The study measure used a smelling instrument of 3 items and each item was rated by the patient from 1 to 10 to assess the patient's impaired life.  Results: Test statistics using the Wilcoxon test.  The result of a significant level of olfactory sensitivity with a value p-value of 0.000 which means p-value <0.05, therefore Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Discussion: That there is an effect of giving nasal washing therapy with NaCl to the level of olfactory sensitivity in patients who survive covid 19.

Gender, in the majority control group, the respondents were gender, women with a total of 13 people (72.2%) while in the intervention group the majority of respondents were also dominated by women with a total of 16 people (88.99%).  Education both in the control and intervention groups, the majority of respondents had diploma education levels as many as 11 people with a percentage of 61.1%,  pre-test scores in the group control and intervention are in the poor category with a percentage of 100% (18 people), the post-test scores in the control group showed unfavorable results as many as 15 respondents (83.3%) and good results as many as 3 respondents (16.7%). In the intervention group, the post-test scores showed poor results by 1 respondent (5.6%) and good as many as 17 respondents (94.4%), nurses in the application of the Fall Risk Procedure intervention group before DRK was carried out, namely a minimum score of 6 and a maximum of 8 with an average of 7.28, and after DRK the minimum value was 8 and a maximum of 10 with an average of 9.28. Meanwhile, in the control group, the minimum score for the pre-test was 7 and a maximum of 8 with an average of 7.39, while after the post-test the minimum score was 8 and a maximum of 9 with an average of 8.17. Abstract

Introduction: Health workers and non-health workers play a role in providing services and determining the prevention of COVID-19 transmission in hospitals so that they are at high risk for exposure and infection. Therefore it is necessary to prevent it with hand hygiene. Methods: This study uses a quantitative method with a crossectional research design, used 89 respondents. The instrument used was a questionnaire on the level of knowledge of COVID-19 information and Hand Hygiene Behavior made by the researcher. Results: From the univariate data, it was found that most of the respondents had sufficient knowledge of COVID-19 information, namely 48 out of 89 respondents (53.9%), and most of them had negative Hand Hygiene behavior, namely 52 out of 89 respondents (58.4%). From the results of the bivariate test, it was found that there was a relationship between the Level of Knowledge of COVID-19 Information and Hand Hygiene Behavior with a p-Value of 0.003 (p<0.05). Discussion: Knowledge of COVID-19 information can improve hand hygiene behavior for non-health workers in hospitals. Non-health workers can improve hand hygiene behavior to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus during the pandemic by continuing to upgrade knowledge about COVID-19 itself.

Abstract

Introduction: Pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) is still a health problem in the world. Indonesia is the second country with the highest incidence of pulmonary TB in the world. The high incidence of TB is influenced by the presence of Diabetes Mellitus (DM) in pulmonary TB patients. Methods: In this study, data were obtained from medical records of pulmonary TB patients who were treated at the pulmonary clinic of Matraman Hospital in early November using a total sampling of 36 people. And this research is an observational study with a cross-sectional study design. Abstract

Introduction: In every implementation of the nursing process, nurses will always record or often called documenting. Documenting is an activity of recording, reporting, or recording an event and activity carried out in the form of providing services that are considered important and valuable. One of the factors that can affect documenting is workload. The workload of a nurse can be seen as the dimension of all activities or activities carried out by a nurse during a stint in a nursing service unit. Methods: This type of research uses quantitative descriptive assessments using the Chi-Square method and samples taken by 79 nurses. The independent variable uses a Questionnaire instrument and the dependent variable uses an observation sheet where the questionnaire has 13 questions from Nursalam in 2017 and the observation sheet has 24 questions from the Depkes RI in 1995. Results: It was obtained that 29 out of 43 respondents (67.4%) stated heavy workload with non-compliance levels and 32 out of 36 respondents (88.9%) stated light workload with compliance levels. Statistical test results obtained the value of P-value = 0.000 means p-value < (0.05). Discussion: There is a workload relationship with the level of compliance of nurses in completing the documenting of nursing care in the RSPAD surgical room in 2021.
