Abstract

Purpose: This study examines the relationship between leadership styles and organizational effectiveness by comprehensively reviewing recent literature. The aim is to provide insights into how different leadership approaches impact organizational outcomes. Research Design and Methodology: The research design involves a systematic review of recent literature on leadership styles and their effects on organizational effectiveness. Various databases were explored to identify relevant studies, and a rigorous screening process was employed to select articles that met the inclusion criteria. Findings and Discussion: The findings reveal that transformational leadership emerges as a critical determinant of organizational effectiveness, demonstrating a strong positive association with employee satisfaction, commitment, and overall performance. Transactional leadership is effective in stable environments but may hinder innovation in dynamic contexts. Servant leadership fosters a supportive work environment, positively impacting organizational citizenship behaviors and team performance. Adaptive and digital leadership styles are also gaining prominence, particularly in the face of technological advancements and changing market conditions. Implications: The findings highlight the importance of cultivating transformational leadership competencies within organizations to enhance organizational effectiveness. Investing in leadership development programs and fostering a culture that values visionary leadership can contribute to long-term success. Understanding the nuances of different leadership styles can help organizations adapt to evolving challenges and remain competitive in today's dynamic business landscape.

Abstract

Purpose: This study explores advancements in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), focusing on how AI and VR technologies can enhance long-term emotional engagement, cultural inclusivity, and accessibility. The research seeks to fill gaps in understanding HCI's emotional and social dimensions by addressing how these technologies affect users' cognitive and emotional well-being over time. Research Design and Methodology: The study uses a qualitative systematic literature review to analyze critical academic and industry research on AI, VR, and HCI. Through a thematic analysis, it identifies trends and challenges in designing more inclusive, emotionally responsive, and culturally adaptive systems. Findings and Discussion: The study reveals that while AI and VR technologies improve user engagement, there are significant gaps in cultural inclusivity and emotional responsiveness, especially for users with disabilities. It also proposes theoretical models integrating emotional and cultural factors into HCI design, enabling adaptive and personalized user experiences. Implications: This research shows the need for HCI technologies to prioritize emotional engagement and inclusivity. Practically, these findings can guide the development of more adaptive AI and VR systems that cater to diverse user needs, offering better accessibility and user satisfaction. Future research should explore empirical applications of these theoretical models in specific industries, such as healthcare and education.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to analyze, identify, and explain the effect of competence, work motivation, and work experience on teachers' performance at the State Tsanawiyah Madrasah (MTSN) Koya Barat, Jayapura City, Papua Province. Research Design and Methodology: This associative research used 36 respondents, representing 100% of the population through total sampling or saturated samples. Data were collected and analyzed using partial and simultaneous tests to assess the impact of the independent variables on teacher performance. Findings and Discussion: The study found that competence, work motivation, and work experience positively and significantly affect teachers' performance at MTSN Koya Barat. The Adjusted R² value of 0.651 indicates that these variables explain 65.1% of the variance in teacher performance. The remaining 34.9% is influenced by other factors not included in this model, such as education, training, work environment, discipline, leadership, and technology utilization. Among the variables, competence emerged as the most dominant factor, with a Standardized coefficient beta of 0.623 and a t-value of 7.984, indicating a significant level of influence compared to work motivation and work experience. Implications: The findings suggest that enhancing teacher competence through targeted training and development programs is crucial for improving teacher performance. Additionally, boosting work motivation and leveraging work experience can further optimize educational outcomes. Policymakers and educational leaders should focus on these areas to create supportive environments that foster teacher growth and effectiveness.

Abstract

Purpose: This study explores the influence of motivation, training, work environment, and compensation on the performance of social assistants in the Joint Business Groups (KUBE) program in Papua. It seeks to answer how these factors individually and collectively impact the effectiveness of social assistants in enhancing community welfare. Research Design and Methodology: Utilizing an explanatory research design, this quantitative study employed a survey model with questionnaires distributed to 87 social assistants in Jayapura City, Jayapura Regency, Keerom Regency, and Sarmi Regency. The research examined the relationships between motivation, training, work environment, and compensation as independent variables and social assistants' performance as the dependent variable. Data analysis included validity, reliability, classical assumption tests, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS. Findings and Discussion: The results indicate that motivation, training, work environment, and compensation significantly impact the performance of social assistants both individually and collectively. Motivation enhances commitment and task outcomes; training improves technical skills and confidence; a supportive work environment boosts productivity, and fair compensation increases job satisfaction. These findings align with existing theories and underscore the importance of these factors in optimizing employee performance in social assistance programs. Implications: The study suggests that integrated strategies encompassing motivation programs, continuous training, supportive work environments, and fair compensation are crucial for enhancing the performance of social assistants. Policymakers and managers should focus on these areas to improve the effectiveness of social assistance programs and ultimately enhance community welfare in Papua. Future research should investigate the long-term effects and potential mediating factors to refine these strategies further.
