Abstract

Making combined materials that consist of unsaturated polyester and coconut fiber is the target of this research. The samples were tested by tensile and hardness tests before and after warm-up, and obtained by the result was that the trend value of hardness of unsaturated polyester+coconut fiber experienced proportional degradation with the addition of the composition of coconut fiber. The composition of 3% coconut fiber+97% unsaturated polyester has the highest hardness value, reaching 46,7 kg/mm2, and downhill becomes 43,1 kgf/mm2 moment heated at a temperature of 500C for 1 hour. Analog to the tensile test, 3% coconut fiber + 97% unsaturated polyester composition has the highest ultimate tensile strength and yield point. Adding fiber can boost the elasticity modulus, but the warm-up treatment causes the expansion of coconut fiber. The result is that the value of the tensile and hardness of the polyblend will go downhill.

Abstract

Energy drinks are stimulants that men or women generally use to handle sleepiness while driving with sleep deprivation. There is no study about energy drink’s effect on gender. This study aims to learn about energy drinks in different genders while driving with sleep deprivation. Research is done using a laboratory approach using a driving simulator. Ten men and ten women were participants (21 ± 0.95 years). Participants were asked to drive for 90 minutes, and before driving the simulator, participants drank coconut water or Kratingdeng based on the planned order. PVT measured awareness before and after participants used the simulator. Dependent variables measured are mean RT, %minor lapses, and mean 1/RT. EEG evaluated sleepiness during the driving session. Based on ANOVA, energy drinks did not influence mean RT (p-value = 0,088), mean 1/RT (p-value= 0,058), %minor lapses (p-value =0,571), and EEG (p-value = 0,348). Meanwhile, EEG measured sleepiness and was only influenced by gender (p-value = 0,048). Based on the test, there is no difference between the two energy drinks. It is caused by an energy drink’s material that gives the body the same stimulant level. There is a difference in Mean 1/RT between gender and energy drinks. It is caused by composition such as potassium in coconut water or taurine and caffeine in Kratingdeng. The research shows that energy drinks do not influence awareness and sleepiness while driving for 90 minutes. However, energy drinks give different results in awareness of different genders.

Abstract

The number of social media users in Indonesia has increased in recent years. The surge in social media users leads to more offensive language on these platforms. The use of offensive language can trigger conflicts between users. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the use of offensive language on social media. This study focused on identifying offensive language, hate speech, and hate speech targets on Twitter. The data used were obtained from previous research on identifying offensive language and hate speech. The amount of data is very influential on the performance of the classification. Therefore, data was added using translation in this study. Classical machine learning (SVM et al.) and deep learning (BiLSTM, CNN, and LSTM) algorithms are used as classification algorithms with word n-gram and word embedding as the features. Three scenarios were done based on the training data used in the classification model development. The result shows that scenario 3, which uses translation for data augmentation, can improve the classification model’s performance by 5%.

Abstract

This study aims to create a web-based comic reading and publishing exchange to make obtaining, reading, and publishing a comic easier. As for the background of this research, in today's modern era, when getting a comic, some people still use conventional methods, so it requires more costs, limited stock, longer time, limited storage space, and more complex maintenance and production costs—extensive distribution. Creating web-based comic reading and publication exchanges is an alternative expected to make reading comics easier and faster. Comic buyers and sellers can also easily make comic transactions because they are systemized and stored safely. Testing the reading site exchange system and web-based comic publications shows that the system has achieved the expected goals. The system can identify user roles; allows the Admin to review or confirm comics and chapters as well as manage genre and user data; provides the seller with the ability to manage data on comics, chapters, and payments; gives customers access to view a list of comics, transaction history, make purchases, and read comics; and the payment system can confirm transactions made by customers.

Abstract

This outpatient information system is a system that is run on the hospital outpatient unit to support the service process provided to patients used by the units that provide services. This outpatient information system assists hospitals in implementing an integrated and structured digitization of patient medical record data. The study aimed to produce an outpatient information system that provides convenience to hospital staff and patients in the process of health services in the outpatient unit of RSUD Indramayu. In this study, the author uses a descriptive method, which is a method that describes a situation or problem that is currently happening based on the facts and data obtained and collected at the time of carrying out the research. Outpatient information system design uses document flow, system flow, tiered diagrams, context diagrams, data flow diagrams, conceptual data models, and physical data models. The implementation of this research uses the PHP programming language and MySQL database as well as writing the system design using DFD (Data Flow Diagrams), namely Data Flow Diagrams, FlowMap, Flowcharts, and Entity relationship diagrams (ERD). The result of the research is an integrated web-based outpatient information system application from the beginning to the end of outpatient services for patients.
