Abstract

Elementary school age is vulnerable to disease attacks caused by a lack of hygiene and health. PHBS indicators set by the Ministry of Health can protect school children from common health problems, one of which is diarrhea (Kusumawardani et al., 2019). The incidence of diarrhea in Bandung Regency is the third highest at 101,890 cases out of 27 regions in West Java Province (West Java DHO, 2021). This study aims to develop media Spinning wheel game Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) at School for SDIT Al-Huda Cipetir students with the ADDIE development research model. This research uses development research with the ADDIE approach (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). The sample amounted to 32 students of SDIT Al-Huda Cipetir Bandung Regency, sampling using the Total Sampling Technique, Media Spinning wheel game has a diameter of 50 cm made of MDF wood, equipped with information cards made of 260 gsm artpaper measuring 10.5 x 14.5 cm. Obtaining a value of 75% with a decent category from material experts, 100% with a very feasible category from media experts and 74.31% with a decent category from small-scale trials. There is an effect of using spinning wheel game media regarding PHBS in Schools with an increase of 28.75%. The media is declared feasible by experts and there is an effect of providing Spinning wheel game media on PHBS in schools.

Abstract

Background: The Covid-19 pandemic has emerged as a global health crisis, affecting various sectors including those serving in the Port Health Office (PHO), who are particularly vulnerable to the risks posed by the pandemic. Amidst this situation, 19 positive Covid-19 cases have been identified among the employees of KKP Class II Samarinda. The utilization of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) stands as a crucial preventive measure against the transmission of Covid-19, especially within the workforce. This research aims to elucidate the profile of determinants influencing the compliance in using PPE concerning Covid-19 among the personnel of the Port Health Office Class II Samarinda, in the year 2023.Method: This type of research was analytic observational with a cross-sectional design. The study sample amounted to 62 employees who were determined using the total sampling technique. Data collection methods through filling out questionnaire sheets. Data analysis using Chi-Square test, Fisher test and Gamma test.Research Results: The results showed that there were three variables associated with compliance with the use of Personal Protective Equipment in COVID-19 prevention. The three variables include level of education, length of work, and level of knowledge. Uncorrelated variables are age and sex. The research land is expected to establish policies in the form of reward and punishment related to efforts to increase compliance with the use of Personal Protective Equipment.Conclusions: There is a correlation between length of employment, level of education, and knowledge with compliance in using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Keywords: Compliance, Personal Protective Equipment, COVID-19

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Masa remaja adalah masa transisi yang unik. Terjadi berbagai perubahan pada masa ini. Perubahan tersebut meliputi, fisik, psikologi dan sosial. Perubahan fisik terjadi lebih cepat dibandingkan perubahan psikologi dan sosial. Hal tersebut dapat membuat remaja merasa bingung dengan perubahan yang terjadi. Seks bebas merupakan masalah yang terjadi pada remaja di Indonesia saat ini. Usia remaja sangat rentan untuk melakukan hal-hal yang dianggap di luar batas kendali normal. Adapun faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku seksual remaja tersebut seperti jenis kelamin, paparan sumber informasi dan usia pubertas.. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media video animasi terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap siswa/i tentang seks remaja di SMA Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu. Metode: Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi-experimental, yaitu one grup pretest-posttest design with control grup. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa/i kelas XI IPA dan IPS di SMA Negeri 02 Kota Bengkulu yang berjumlah 60 orang, Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Probability Sampling yakni sampel Random Sampling, di analisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dan uji mann-Whitney. Hasil: Hasil analisis rerata pengetahuan remaja tentang seks remaja pada kelompok intervensi adalah pretest (4,83), posttest (8,87), sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol adalah pretest (4,73), posttest (7,10). Hasil analisis rerata sikap remaja tentang seks remaja pada kelompok intervensi adalah pretest (35,37), posttest (36,7), sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol adalah pretest (34,3), postest (35,6). Ada perbedaan peningkatan skor pengetahuan dan sikap remaja yang diberikan edukasi tentang seks remaja menggunakan media video animasi dan yang diberikan edukasi tentang seks remaja menggunakan video edukasi dari platform youtube dengan (p < 0,05). Media video animasi efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap remaja tentang seks remaja dibandingkan dengan video edukasi yang peneliti ambil dari youtube. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan pilihan alternatif media edukasi kesehatan untuk promotor kesehatan dalam menyampaikan edukasi tentang seks remaja.

Abstract

The coronavirus outbreak caused by the SARSCoV2 virus has caused a number of changes in many aspects of people's economic and social life, COVID-19 was officially as a pandemic in March 2020, as it was very easy to spread in the world. Public understanding and awareness of risk behaviors for contracted COVID-19 was still low. It has a huge impact on life, so various methods must be used to fight the virus. The community will play an important role in breaking the chain of transmission of COVID-19 and avoiding the emergence of new sources of transmission. The purpose of this study was to explore in-depth information about the analysis of behavior at risk of contracting COVID-19 in the work area of the puskesmas in the west ring of Bengkulu city. This research used qualitative research methods to explore more in-depth information with in- depth interview techniques. This study used a phenomenological approach to understand the phenomenon in depth to produce data in a descriptive form that was assembled using words with the results of in-depth interviews with informants. The informants in this study were people aged 46-70 years and below who were concerned about behaviors at risk of contracting COVID-19. The results of this study found that the behavior of the elderly people did not used masks because they felt that they did not need to use masks and felt tight or stuffy. The elderly do not know how to use masks properly. Do not wash their hands with soap/handsanitizer because the elderly do not know about washing their hands, never clean their hands when touching their nose and mouth and never wash their hands when touching masks. Not keeping your distance because you don't believe in COVID-19 and not doing COVID-19 protection when visited tourist attractions and worship. The elderly continue to the homes of people who died during the COVID-19 pandemic. COVID-19 Vaccination The elderly do not know about the COVID-19 vaccination, most of whom have not carried out a complete COVID-19 vaccination. It was hoped that health workers and the COVID-19 Task Force can carry out health promotion to the community in the West Circle Health Center Work Area regarding good COVID-19 Infection Behavior.

Abstract

Garbage is a common problem faced by people all over the world. The World Bank (2018) says that the number of people in the world which is increasing every year is the cause of an increasingly critical waste problem. Countries that are the largest contributors of waste are China, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Sri Lanka. In Indonesia, there is 64 million tons of waste per year and is expected to continue to increase every year.How is the role of health promoters on community behavior regarding waste problems in Sawah Lebar Village, Bengkulu City.The research design used is qualitative research, using ethnographic methods. Ethnographic research basically aims to understand or explore life, certain behaviors in a group of people. This research was conducted to obtain in-depth information and to find out the behavior of the community in disposing of waste in the village of rice fields in the city of Bengkulu., which is taken every day using a pick-up car. In a day, the garbage officer picks up trash 2 times a day, every 07.00 WIB and 17.00 WIB. And there are also some who throw garbage directly behind the wide rice field stadium of Bengkulu City.it was concluded that the behavior of the community in throwing garbage in the broad rice field community of Bengkulu city, some wanted it instantly and some directly threw it into the trash can behind the wide rice field in Bengkulu city and some were placed on the side of the road and then taken by the cleaners who use trucks.
