Background: The Covid-19 pandemic has emerged as a global health crisis, affecting various sectors including those serving in the Port Health Office (PHO), who are particularly vulnerable to the risks posed by the pandemic. Amidst this situation, 19 positive Covid-19 cases have been identified among the employees of KKP Class II Samarinda. The utilization of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) stands as a crucial preventive measure against the transmission of Covid-19, especially within the workforce. This research aims to elucidate the profile of determinants influencing the compliance in using PPE concerning Covid-19 among the personnel of the Port Health Office Class II Samarinda, in the year 2023.Method: This type of research was analytic observational with a cross-sectional design. The study sample amounted to 62 employees who were determined using the total sampling technique. Data collection methods through filling out questionnaire sheets. Data analysis using Chi-Square test, Fisher test and Gamma test.Research Results: The results showed that there were three variables associated with compliance with the use of Personal Protective Equipment in COVID-19 prevention. The three variables include level of education, length of work, and level of knowledge. Uncorrelated variables are age and sex. The research land is expected to establish policies in the form of reward and punishment related to efforts to increase compliance with the use of Personal Protective Equipment.Conclusions: There is a correlation between length of employment, level of education, and knowledge with compliance in using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Keywords: Compliance, Personal Protective Equipment, COVID-19

Background: Breast cancer is a frightening disease for women. The prevalence of breast cancer in Indonesia is 109 per 100,000 population. The most cancer in EastKalimantan in 2014 was breast cancer with 179 people and in 2015 it rose to 424 people, this case experienced an increase of 56.28%. Aims: The aim of the researchers was to implement breast self-examination health education counseling (BSE) with Android media on breast cancer prevention behavior in Balikpapan. Method: This research method is a quasi-experimental study with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The sample in this study was 2 groups of cadres totaling 50 people, each 25 people in the control group and 25 in the intervention group with ages 18-55 years. Results: The results of the study showed an increase in knowledge (good 48%, enough 40%, less 12%) and increased behavior about BSE (good 44%, enough 48%, less 8%), there was a difference in knowledge before and after being given BSE counseling using android media (p-value = 0.362). There are differences in behavior before and after being given the BSE counseling treatment using Android media (p-value = 0.607). Conclusion: Providing counseling using Android media provides better benefits.

Diare merupakan penyakit yang sangat berbahaya, terdapat 2,5 miliar kasus diare anak di usia sekolah dasar di seluruh dunia setiap tahun. Diare membunuh 2.195 anak setiap hari, menjadikannya pembunuh terbesar kedua. Diare masih menjadi penyumbang angka kematian di Indonesia. Menurut data dari Riset Kesehatan Dasar Nasional, 182.338 (6.2%) anak berusia 5–14 tahun di Indonesia mengalami diare. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh video animasi terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap dalam pencegahan diare pada siswa SDN 002 Sungai Pinang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimental. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan pre-eksperimental one group pretestposttest design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SDN 002 Sungai Pinang, yang berjumlah 489 siswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunkan teknik Proportional Stratified Random Sampling sampel berjumlah 80 orang. Hasil penelitian didapatkan peningkatan setelah di berikan intervensi pada pengetahuan (96,2%) dan sikap (95,0%). Hasil uji wilcoxon signed rank test untuk data pengetahuan adalah p=0.000 dan sikap p=0.000 yang artinya Terdapat pengaruh Media Video Animasi Terhadap Pengetahuan dan Sikap dalam Pencegahan Diare pada Siswa SDN 002 Sungai Pinang,Terdapat pengaruh Pendidikan Kesehatan Media Video Animasi Terhadap Pengetahuan dan Sikap dalam Pencegahan Diare pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar 002 Sungai Pinang, video animasi efektif untuk pendidikan kesehatan yang mempengaruhi pengetahuan dan sikap anak usia sekolah.

Female adolescents are at increased risk for anemia since their iron needs peak between the ages of 14 and 15. Youth iron deficiency can lead to serious health problems, including anemia. One student in a group of nine reported having a hemoglobin (Hb) level of 12, and the other four reported experiencing fatigue, weakness, difficulty focusing in class, and other symptoms of anemia. The purpose of this study is to learn how exposure to the media shown in Exploding Box affects young women's self-control and decision-making when consuming dietary supplements. Method: This study has a pre-experimental design with a single-group pre- and post-test. In this study, we used a completely random sample of participants. Students from grades 10, 12, and 15 at MTs Al- Muhajirin Loa Janan make up the study's sample population. Female students fill kuesioners, and male researchers use lembar observatories to compile the data. SPSS is used for both univariate and bivariate data analysis. Research shows that both before and after receiving the intervention, the media explosion box had a significant impact on knowledge (p0,000) and respondent accuracy (p0,003). What this means is that young women at MTs Al- Muhajirin Loa Janan are more knowledgeable about and more likely to follow guidelines for taking tablet supplements of blood. Conclusions Based on research and analysis, it can be concluded that the media's influence on young women's knowledge of and behavior surrounding tablet consumption of added blood sugar is real. The hope is that this media explosion box will serve as a resource for raising awareness and encouraging action among young women to prevent anemia.

Diare masih menjadi penyebab utama kematian anak, dengan 525.000 kasus per tahun dan di Indonesia mencapai 8% seluruh kelompok usia. Di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ar-Rahman Simpang Tiga, siswa menunjukkan pengetahuan dan sikap rendah terkait pencegahan diare, serta belum mendapatkan edukasi berbasis media flashcard. Media flashcard sebagai media pembelajaran aktif dan menyenangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas media flashcard dengan metode buzz group terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap siswa tentang pencegahan diare. Peneltian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental, One Group (Pre-test and Post-test Design). Sampel penelitian berjumlah 58 siswa kelas V dengan menggunakan teknik simple stratified sampling. Intervensi edukasi dilakukan selama 3 hari berdasarkan teori kurva lupa dan data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan skor rata-rata pengetahuan sebelum intervensi sebesar 67,16, meningkat menjadi 87,76 setelah intervensi. Sedangkan skor sikap sebelum intervensi sebesar 77,00, meningkat menjadi 86,02 setelah intervensi. Hasil uji Wilcoxon pada variabel pengetahuan dan sikap menunjukkan nilai ρ-value 0.000 < α 0,05, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Penggunaan media flashcard dengan metode buzz group terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap siswa tentang pencegahan diare di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ar-Rahman Simpang Tiga. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan referensi untuk pelaksanaan edukasi kesehatan di sekolah dengan metode pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menyenangkan sehingga mampu meningkatkan kesadaran hidup sehat pada anak.

Pemberian ASI Eksklusif di provinsi Kalimantan Timur pada saat ini target masih rendah sekitar 53,6%.Sementara menurut data WHO sampai tahun 2020 hanya sekitar 44% bayi di seluruh dunia yang berusia 0-6 bulan yang mendapatkan ASI Eksklusif. Berdasarkan data UNICEF 2021, cakupan ASI Eksklusif di Indonesia sekitar 50,7%. Data Kementerian Kesehatan RI 2021 angka nasional persentase bayi yang ASI Eksklusif sebanyak 56,9%. Hal ini disebabkan masih banyaknya ibu-ibu yang pengetahuannya kurang terhadap manfaat ASI Eksklusif sehingga perlunya pemberian informasi pendidikan Kesehatan tentang ASI eksklusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan melalui group WhatsApp terhadap pengetahuan dan motivasi ibu dalam memberikan ASI eksklusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Loa Janan Ulu tahun 2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan Pre Ekskperimen dengan rancangan One Group Pretest-Posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu yang memiliki bayi > 6 bulan usianya di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Loa Janan Ulu Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara berjumlah sebanyak 32 orang dari 48 orang dan menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat pengaruh sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan melalui Group WhatsApp. Terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dari 46,9% menjadi 71,9% dan motivasi dari 21,9% menjadi 59,4% hasil dari uji statistik Wilcoxon pada variabel pengetahuan p=0,000 dan motivasi p=0,005. Terdapat pengaruh Pendidikan Kesehatan melalui group WhatsApp terhadap pengetahuan dan motivasi ibu dalam memberikan ASI Eksklusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Loa Janan Ulu. Maka dari itu, Group WhatsApp terbukti efektif digunakan sebagai media Pendidikan Kesehatan.Diharapkan para ibu dapat selalu mengingat pentingnya memberikan ASI Eksklusif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Pendidikan Kesehatan melalui Group WhatsApp kepada ibu-ibu yang memiliki anak usia > 6 bulan sangat mendukung terhadap pengetahuan dan motivasi sehingga bermanfaat dalam penelitian ini.

Salah satu kebiasaan yang berkontribusi terhadap masalah kesehatan di seluruh dunia adalah merokok. Indonesia termasuk negara dengan tingkat perokok tertinggi di seluruh dunia. Setiap tahun, kebiasaan merokok di kalangan remaja menyebabkan kematian lebih dari 225.700 orang. Menyediakan platform permainan edukatif yang meningkatkan kesadaran dan sikap tentang risiko merokok adalah salah satu cara untuk mencegah kaum muda mencoba merokok. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah pendidikan kesehatan melalui media ular tangga berdampak pada sikap dan pemahaman siswa tentang risiko yang terkait dengan merokok di SMA Negeri 4 Samarinda. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain one-group pretest-posttest dan bersifat kuantitatif. Pendekatan proporsional random selection digunakan untuk memilih 79 siswa dari populasi, yang terdiri dari siswa kelas 11. Kuesioner digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data, dan analisis univariat dan bivariat digunakan. Menurut temuan analisis, mayoritas responden berusia 17 tahun. Hasil Identifikasi pengetahuan di peroleh jumlah responden dengan pengetahuan kategori cukup saat pretest terdapat 40 siswa (50,6%) dan pada posttest terdapat sebanyak 44 siswa (57,7%). Sedangkan responden dengan sikap baik pada pretest terdapat sebanyak 16 siswa (22.3%) dan pada saat posttest terdapat 34 siswa (43.0)%. “Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dengan nilai p sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05), pendidikan kesehatan melalui media ular tangga memberikan pengaruh terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap responden. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendidikan kesehatan di SMA Negeri 4 Samarinda yang menggunakan media ular tangga memberikan pengaruh terhadap sikap dan pemahaman siswa tentang risiko merokok.

Adolescent girls are susceptible to anaemia due to blood loss during menstruation. The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of health education regarding anaemia, utilising audiovisual media, on the knowledge and attitudes of adolescent girls in MTS. Sabilarrasyad Samarinda. This study employed a quantitative methodology utilising a pre-experimental design, specifically a one-group pre-test and post-test framework. The number of students with increased knowledge rose from 34 (66.7%) to 51 (100%). It is known that 49 out of 50 pupils (98%) with average knowledge demonstrated improvement. For the attitude category score, 45 pupils (88.2%) exhibited an average attitude. The Wilcoxon test reveals a P-Value of 0.000 for the knowledge variable and a P-Value of 0.000 for the attitude variable. The impact of health education regarding anaemia, utilising audiovisual means, on the knowledge and attitudes of adolescent girls.

In Indonesia, when it comes to female cancers, breast cancer is by far the most lethal. Treatment was delayed because of a lack of education about breast cancer and how to perform a breast self-examination (BSE) for early diagnosis. Real-world targets can learn from and mimic the behaviour displayed in examples through the demonstration technique. Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the impact of health training using demonstrative techniques and dummy media on female students' knowledge and ability to deal with BSE. Research Metodes: This investigation was quantitative in nature, and a one-group pretest-posttest design was adopted. There were potentially as many as 198 kids at SMA Negeri 3 Samarinda, hence a sample size of 66 was used. Simple random sampling was used. A knowledge and skills questionnaire with a value of 0.05 served as the instrument for this study. Results: A significant effect of health education on female students' knowledge and skills on BSE was found, as indicated by a wilcoxon test p value of 0.05. Conclusion: Health education on BSE delivered using the phantom media demonstration approach has an impact on elevating SMA Negeri 3 students' understanding of the topic. It is anticipated that it can serve as a source of inspiration and education for high school girls. Keywords: Demonstration, SADARI, Knowledge, Skills, Teenager.

Abstract Background: Maintaining personal cleanliness and health is something that people do on a regular basis to prevent reproductive diseases. According to a number of research, teens are less knowledgeable about personal hygiene. This study aims to assess the efficacy of a video-based education program on the knowledge and attitudes of female students at SMP Negeri 29 Samarinda on menstrual hygiene. Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the knowledge and attitudes of female students at SMP Negeri 29 Samarinda on the impact of health education on menstrual hygiene through video media. Research methods: This team's setup for pre and post-testing. A pair of measurements, taken before and after the intervention, make up this method. By comparing findings from before and after the intervention on the posttest, we can be sure that the results from the intervention are reliable. Results: When comparing students' understanding before and after the intervention, we find that 15 students (18.1%) have a very good grasp of the material. Not only that, but it is common knowledge that the vast majority of knowledgeable respondents have p-values of 0.000 (p 0.05). Analysis of student attitudes before and after the intervention revealed that zero students (0.0%) rated their experience as "very good" before the intervention, while as many as forty-two students (50.6%) rated their experience as "very good" afterward. Health education by video on knowledge is effective in improving menstrual hygiene with a p-value of 0.000 (p <0.05). Conclusion:, health education regarding menstrual hygiene through video media has an impact on students at SMP Negeri 29 Samarinda in terms of knowledge and attitudes. Adolescent female pupils are likely to benefit from this study's input and knowledge. Keywords: Information, Attitude, and Personal Hygiene.
