Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini, algoritma Random Forest dan XGBoost dibandingkan dalam klasifikasi penyakit paru-paru menggunakan data demografi pasien. Dataset yang digunakan terdiri dari 30.000 data pasien dengan 9 atribut dan 1 label yang diambil dari Kaggle. Tahapan penelitian termasuk pengumpulan data, Preprocessing, pembagian data, dan klasifikasi data menggunakan kedua algoritma. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa algoritma XGBoost memiliki akurasi 94% dan AUC 0.98, sedangkan algoritma Random Forest memiliki akurasi 91% dan AUC 0.97. Meskipun Random Forest lebih cepat dan lebih mudah diinterpretasikan, XGBoost bekerja lebih baik dengan data yang kompleks dengan hasil yang lebih konsisten. Melalui penggunaan teknik regularisasi dan penanganan outliers yang lebih baik, XGBoost juga dapat mengatasi masalah overfitting dengan lebih baik. Studi ini memberikan panduan untuk peneliti dan praktisi dalam memilih algoritma terbaik untuk tugas klasifikasi medis, terutama yang berkaitan dengan penyakit paru-paru.

Abstract

Padamu Jaya Bersama is a company engaged in the sale of oil palm fertilizer and currently relies on manual transaction recording. This approach leads to various challenges, such as the risk of data loss, delays in information access, and inefficiencies in business monitoring processes. This study aims to address these issues by designing a digital recording system based on a Progressive Web App (PWA) optimized through the Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach. The HCD method is applied through the stages of inspiration, ideation, implementation, and testing, involving business owners and employees as the primary users. The interface design is created using low-fidelity wireframes developed with the Balsamiq tool to illustrate the basic structure and navigation flow of the system. The application is developed using HTML, PHP, CSS, and JavaScript technologies, featuring key functions such as sales recording, stock management, and report generation. Testing results indicate that the designed system improves recording efficiency, accelerates access to sales data, and facilitates business monitoring for the owner. This study concludes that the HCD approach is effective in producing a system that meets user needs.

Abstract

This research aims to implement a data visualization information system forsmall and medium industries (IKM) using the dashboard method. The case study wascarried out at the Ogan Komering Ilir Regency Cooperative, SME and Industry Service,with the aim of assisting decision making in the small and medium industry sector.Thedashboard method is used to present small and medium industry data visually andinteractively, making it easier for users to understand the data and make the rightdecisions. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniquesthrough observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show thatthe application of a data visualization information system for small and medium industriesusing the dashboard method can help decision making at the Ogan Komering Ilir RegencyCooperatives, SMEs and Industry Department more quickly and accurately. Apart fromthat, this system can also provide more complete and integrated information, so that it can increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the performance of the Ogan Komering IlirRegency Cooperatives, SMEs and Industry Service.

Abstract

Chemistry learning at the high school level often presents unique challenges. The subject matter is inherently abstract and difficult to grasp, while limited teaching aids and minimal use of technology further contribute to low student motivation and achievement. Observations at SMA PGRI Kota Pagar Alam revealed that although 85% of students own smartphones, these devices have yet to be fully utilized to support learning.This study focuses on developing an interactive chemistry learning multimedia application using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which consists of six stages: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. The final product integrates animations, simulations, gamebased interactive quizzes, and audio narration into a cohesive learning experience.Expert validation from the fields of media, content, language, and design yielded an average score above 4.5—classified as highly feasible—with visual quality (4.70) and content relevance (4.65) standing out as key strengths. Testing with 30 eleventh-grade students showed a substantial improvement in understanding, with the average score increasing from 58.2 (pretest) to 82.4 (posttest), representing a 41.6% gain. Furthermore, 87% of students reported that the multimedia helped them better comprehend chemistry concepts, while 92% found the interface engaging and interactive.These findings affirm that combining visual, audio, and interactive elements can significantly enhance the effectiveness of chemistry learning. Looking ahead, this multimedia application holds strong potential for broader implementation, including personalized learning content and the incorporation of game elements to create a more immersive experience. With adequate teacher training and proper device availability, this innovation could serve as a sustainable solution to address the challenges of chemistry education in schools.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology offers significant opportunities for micro-enterprises, including flower board rental services in Pekanbaru, which largely rely on conventional ordering methods. This study aims to design and evaluate a prototype Android-based flower board rental application at Pekanbaru.Florist to improve service efficiency and user accessibility. The research employed observation, interviews, and literature studies to identify user needs, followed by system design using React Native and Firebase, and usability evaluation through the System Usability Scale (SUS) involving 30 respondents. The results indicated an average SUS score of 76, categorized as “Good” (grade B), suggesting that the application is user-friendly and well accepted. The prototype effectively addresses major issues such as limited product availability information, slow communication, and ordering errors. In conclusion, the developed application has the potential to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen the competitiveness of local florist businesses. Further development is recommended, particularly by adding interactive features such as live chat and improving the user interface design to optimize user experience

Abstract

This study presents a comparative evaluation of Ridge Regression, Support Vector Regression (SVR, RBF), and ExtraTrees Regressor against a lag-1 (persistence) baseline for short-term load forecasting (STLF) of IoT smart-home energy consumption at an hourly resolution. The research is motivated by the need for accurate forecasts to enable operational efficiency, peak shaving, and residential demand response. The workflow emphasizes reproducibility: hourly resampling, short-gap imputation, minimalist feature engineering (calendar and lag features), and a time-based split of 70%/15%/15% (train/validation/test). Models are compared using MAE, RMSE, and R², prioritizing RMSE due to its sensitivity to spikes. Results show that on validation ExtraTrees performs best (RMSE 1.012, R² 0.854) and surpasses the lag-1 baseline (RMSE 1.507, R² 0.677). However, on the test set the lag-1 baseline is most accurate (RMSE 1.457, R² 0.808, MAE 0.900), while ExtraTrees is the closest yet does not surpass it (RMSE 1.482, R² 0.802, MAE 1.119). SVR and Ridge degrade markedly on test (RMSE > 2.0; R² < 0.65). These findings highlight the strength of persistence at a one-hour horizon and the need for seasonal/exogenous features and hyperparameter tuning to reduce large errors. Our practical contribution is a concise, Colab-based pipeline. Future work includes walk-forward validation, residual modeling over lag-1, adding daily/weekly lags and weather variables, and significance testing of error differences.

Abstract

PT Mustaka Multi Tehnik is a company engaged in several business units, including inthe field of producing mosque domes with several types of domes such as stainless steel,decorative colors, color panels and color enamel. PT Mustaka Multi Tehnik mosque domeproducts have been used by tens of thousands of mosques and prayer rooms spread throughoutIndonesia. Marketing PT Mustaka Multi Tehnik has not been able to see the distribution ofpartners in the form of a digital visualization map. Therefore, it is necessary to have a system thatrecords data in the form of a digital visualization map to display the potential of partners tofacilitate marketing. The geographic information system is built by the Waterfall model SystemDevelopment Life Cycle (SDLC) development method. Unified Modelling Language (UML) asa tool for documenting and specifying the system. Expected outputs are implemented from theLaravel framework and Google Maps APIs to translate latitude and longitude data into objects.After the system is successfully built, the next stage is to carry out functional testing of the blackbox method. With this web-based geographic information system, recording partner data andpotential partner data can already be done digitally. The system successfully runs functionally forusers because of the black box method testing, the test also avoids bugs and errors in the system

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has increased the demand for high-quality user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design in online services, including the Riau University (UNRI) Digital Library, which has been available since 2016 as an academic resource platform. An evaluation using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) revealed weaknesses in attractiveness and novelty, which reduced user satisfaction. This study aims to redesign the UI/UX of the UNRI Digital Library mobile application by applying the auto layout feature in Figma with the Five Planes framework (strategy, scope, structure, skeleton, surface). The research employed a mixed approach, including literature study, interviews with the library administrator, and UEQ surveys distributed to 100 active students as primary users. The redesigned prototype was evaluated with UEQ, and the results indicated improvement across all dimensions, particularly in attractiveness and novelty, which previously scored negative. The integration of auto layout enhanced design efficiency and consistency. The findings demonstrate that applying the Five Planes method supported by responsive design features can produce a more modern, intuitive, and engaging interface. This study provides practical implications for the development of digital library systems and theoretical contributions to mobile-based UI/UX design research.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has encouraged digital transformation across various sectors, including the beauty service industry. Lirace Studio, a provider of eyelash extension services, still faces challenges in managing reservations, which are currently handled manually through instant messaging. This approach often leads to recording errors, overlapping schedules, and limited payment methods. This study aims to design and develop a web-based e-booking system to improve service efficiency at Lirace Studio. The research method applied is Rapid Application Development (RAD), consisting of requirement planning, prototype design, system construction, and cutover (implementation and testing). The system was developed using the Laravel framework with a MySQL database and a responsive user interface. Testing was carried out using Black Box Testing to evaluate system functionality and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to assess user acceptance levels. The results show that all core features, such as registration, login, service booking, rescheduling, online payment, and admin data management, functioned as expected. UAT involving 15 respondents indicated an average acceptance rate of 88.87%, which categorizes the system as highly feasible.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has driven digital transformation across various sectors, including the beauty service industry such as Makeup Artist (MUA). Asri Wedding MUA still relies on manual booking through social media, which often leads to issues such as scheduling errors, delayed confirmations, and lack of transparent information for customers. This study aims to design and develop a web-based e-booking application to improve the efficiency of the service booking process at Asri Wedding MUA. The research method applied is Rapid Application Development (RAD), which consists of requirement planning, design workshop, implementation, and testing. Data collection was conducted through direct observation and structured interviews with the business owner. The application was developed using the Laravel 10 framework and MySQL database, and implemented under a client-server web-based architecture.  The implementation results show that the application provides several main features, including user registration and login, service booking, real-time schedule management, proof of payment upload, and an admin dashboard for transaction validation and data management. The Black Box testing results confirm that all core features functioned correctly according to the test scenarios, with valid outcomes in user registration, authentication, booking, payment confirmation, and transaction history. In conclusion, the developed e-booking application successfully digitalizes the manual booking process of Asri Wedding MUA. It enhances operational efficiency and service professionalism while also providing a theoretical implication for the application of RAD in developing web-based information systems for MSMEs. Future work may include integrating automated payment gateways, instant messaging-based reminders, and a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) module to further improve service quality and customer loyalty.
