Abstract

Abstract Tujuan - Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi evolusi teknologi navigasi udara dari navigasi konvensional hingga sistem satelit dan implikasinya terhadap keselamatan penerbangan. Desain/metodologi/pendekatan - Pendekatan tinjauan literatur digunakan untuk menganalisis perkembangan teknologi navigasi udara, dengan fokus pada transisi dari metode konvensional ke sistem berbasis satelit. Sumber-sumber utama termasuk makalah akademik, laporan pemerintah, dan publikasi industri. Temuan - Evolusi teknologi navigasi udara telah secara signifikan meningkatkan efisiensi dan keselamatan perjalanan udara. Sistem navigasi satelit, seperti Sistem Posisi Global (GPS), memberikan informasi posisi yang akurat, memungkinkan navigasi dan perencanaan rute yang lebih tepat untuk pesawat di seluruh dunia. Keterbatasan/implikasi penelitian - Meskipun navigasi satelit menawarkan banyak manfaat, tantangan seperti gangguan sinyal dan keterbatasan akurasi dalam kondisi tertentu harus diatasi untuk memastikan keandalan sistem ini/Integrasi teknologi navigasi canggih meningkatkan keselamatan penerbangan dengan memberikan informasi posisi yang akurat secara real-time kepada pilot, sehingga mengurangi risiko kesalahan navigasi dan kecelakaan. Keaslian/nilai - Studi ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman tentang bagaimana kemajuan teknologi telah mengubah navigasi udara dan menekankan pentingnya mengatasi tantangan untuk memaksimalkan manfaat keselamatan sistem satelit. Kata kunci: Teknologi navigasi udara; Sistem navigasi satelit; Keselamatan penerbangan. (5 kata) Abstract: Purpose – This study aims to explore the evolution of air navigation technology from conventional navigation to satellite systems and its implications for aviation safety. Design/methodology/approach – A literature review approach is employed to analyze the development of air navigation technology, focusing on the transition from conventional methods to satellite-based systems. Key sources include academic papers, government reports, and industry publications. Findings – The evolution of air navigation technology has significantly improved the efficiency and safety of air travel. Satellite navigation systems, such as the Global Positioning System (GPS), provide accurate positioning information, enabling more precise navigation and route planning for aircraft worldwide. Research limitations/implications – While satellite navigation offers numerous benefits, challenges such as signal interference and accuracy limitations in certain conditions must be addressed to ensure the reliability of these systems/ The integration of advanced navigation technologies enhances aviation safety by providing pilots with real-time, accurate positioning information, thereby reducing the risk of navigation errors and accidents. Originality/value – This study contributes to the understanding of how technological advancements have transformed air navigation and emphasizes the importance of addressing challenges to maximize the safety benefits of satellite systems. Abstract

Automatic Message Switching Center (AMSC) is an equipment that can receive, process and send aviation news according to the general format used for aeronautical purposes. AMSC is a tool for distributing computerized news as regulated in ICAO Annex 10 Volume II for the AFTN (Aeronautical Fixed Telecommunication Network) network. AFTN is the network used by AMSC for flight data communications between one airport and another. Flight data communication is very important because it is useful for sending flight schedules, weather news, NOTAMs, or other news related to flights. Perum LPPNPI Denpasar Branch uses AMSC brand ELSA AROMES – 1003Qi which has 64 channels. AMSC uses a Dual System to avoid down conditions in the system. Messages entering the AMSC will be corrected by the Supervision module, apart from that, this unit can send or receive news from/to the system. This unit is connected via a LAN network to the AMSC system MPU and via RS-232 serial to the signal selector. Abstract

ABSTRACT: Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast (ADS-B) is a surveillance technology using position information from satellites that is broadcast (broadcast) continuously. One of the problems in the development of surveillance technology is how to detect or monitor aircraft with cheap equipment technology, where it is known that surveillance equipment at Indonesian airports tends to be expensive, even the equipment modules for each surveillance tool are sold specifically according to each brand and type. surveillance equipment. The problem also faced at Indonesian airports is the limited surveillance equipment available at each airport, especially ADS-B equipment, where on average branch and unit airports in Indonesia do not yet have ADS-B equipment. Therefore, the author made an analysis, especially of the power received by an ADS-B receiver device that uses RTL-SDR RTL2832U to process signals emitted by aircraft transponders to obtain information in the form of ICAO aircraft address, aircraft callsign, altitude and speed so that it can help users to observe a target or aircraft. Abstract

Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug merupakan sebuah sekolah kedinasan di lingkungan Kementerian Perhubungan yang mewadahi para taruna/i nya dalam bidang transportasi udara serta memiliki peran penting dalam menciptakan sumber daya manusia penerbangan yang unggul dan bertaraf nasional maupun internasional. Salah satu kegiatan pendidikan yang harus dicapai dalam menjadi taruna/i Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug adalah On The Job Training atau biasa disebut dengan OJT. Dalam pelaksanaan On The Job Training mencakup Communication, Navigation, Surveillance, and Data Processing yang merupakan komponen penting dalam lalu lintas penerbangan. Dalam komunikasi penerbangan salah satu alat yang digunakan yaitu VHF A/G. Very High Frequency (VHF) adalah perangkat komunikasi radio yang berfungsi sebagai transceiver yang bekerja pada frekuensi antara 30 MHz - 300 MHz. Radio VHF A/G bersifat Line of Sight artinya komunikasi yang terjadi secara langsung tanpa adanya penghalang dan memiliki jarak pancaran yang rendah dikarenakan pengaruh bumi, sehingga sinyal dari pengirim dapat langsung mengarah dan diterima oleh penerima. Abstract

On The Job Training adalah suatu kegiatan yang harus diikuti dan dilaksanakan oleh para Taruna Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug sebagai sarana untuk memantapkan hasil belajar dalam pendidikan dan pelatihan yang telah dijalani selama melaksanakan pendidikan di kampus Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug baik secara teori maupun praktik. Sehingga memberikan kesempatan untuk mengetahui, memahami, mendalami dan mengaplikasikan sejauh mana kemampuan hasil belajar tersebut dalam situasi dan kondisi kerja sesungguhnya, sehingga dapat menghasilkan teknisi yang ahli dalam bidangnya khususnya bagi para Taruna Teknik Telekomunikasi dan Navigasi Udara sesuai dengan yang diharapkan, terampil dan profesional di bidangnya. Seiring dengan pertumbuhan teknologi yang sangat pesat, dunia penerbangan terus berkembang dalam bidang pelayanannya. Guna mendukung pelayanan yang baik dalam bidang penerbangan, diperlukan peralatan yang baik. Ada berbagai Fasilitas Penerbangan Surveillance/ Pengamatan, salah satu peralatan yang ada pada fasilitas Surveillance adalah Radar MSSR (Monopulse Secondary Surveillance Radar) yang berfungsi untuk mendeteksi keberadaan pesawat yang ada di sekitarnya dengan cara mengirimkan pulsa interogasi kepada transponder yang ada di pesawat, kemudian transponder yang ada di pesawat mengirimkan pulsa reply kembali kepada radar. Setelah pulsa diterima oleh radar, kemudian radar menerima informasi dari pesawat berupa jarak, azimuth, kecepatan, ketinggian dan identitas pesawat. Radar sendiri mempunyai mesin/antenna machine yang berguna untuk menggerakkan antena radar, antenna machine pada radar MSSR sendiri terletak dibawah antena, terdiri dari beberapa modul yaitu Gearbox, Motor, Rotary joint, Flexibel coupling, Pinion, Freewheel clutch. Abstract

Transmitter adalah alat yang memiliki fungsi untuk megubah sinyal informasi dari suatu sumber menjadi bentuk yang dapat dikirimkan melewati media transmisi. Pada paper ini akan dibahas mengenai permasalahan yang terjadi pada peralatan komunikasi penerbangan radio Transmitter VHF 125.1 (APP WEST) Merk Park Air T6T di Bandara Juanda, Surabaya. Dari permasalahan ini, dilakukan analisa untuk mencari sumber kerusakan, dan didapatkan bahwa Modul Regulator bermasalah, yang mengakibatkan rusaknya seluruh komponen lainnya, yang mengakibatkan regulator tidak mengeluarkan output yang seharusnya dibutuhkan oleh rangkaian lainnya. Setelah bagian modul tersebut diganti, radio VHF sudah kembali beroperasi normal. Kata Kunci: Komunikasi, Penerbangan,Radio,Regulator

Abstract

On the Job Training (OJT) activities are the application of knowledge that has been given by lecturers at the Indonesian Aviation Polytechnic Curug. Data communication control device or telex in a computer-based news distribution system that works in a store and forward manner, it called Automatic Message Switching Center (AMSC). News that comes into AMSC is stored and then distributed to the intended address. This system based of civil aviation regulation that used for air traffic safety so that flights are carried out regularly, efficiently and economically. In addition, the AFTN network also functions to exchange news from or between BMKG offices (Meteorology and Geophysics Agency), Notice To Airman (NOTAM), within certain boundaries between airline company offices as well as sending flight data, weather news and other related to the world of aviation. This practice has done of the writer for 5 months at PERUM LPPNPI AIRNAV PALEMBANG. As a result, using Automatic Message Switching Center (AMSC) as a tool for collecting flight information and Aeoronotical Fixed Network (AFTN) which processes all flight data. AFTN is a network system at AMSC that is used for flight data communication between one airport and another by using the address of each airport, both in Indonesia and in other countries in the world.

Abstract

On the Job Traning is a self-development activity carried out by the Indonesian Aviation Polytechnic Curug to develop the skills and understanding of cadets with what has been learned during their education at the Indonesian Aviation Polytechnic Curug campus.OJT is a means to apply the theories and practices that have been learned at the PPI Curug campus which are useful for adding insight, knowledge, experience, and real pictures as technicians who work in teams so that problems are repaired and equipmentworks as its function.the implementation of OJT is carried out by cadets in accordance with their respective fields to produce technicians who are experts, especially in their fields such as aviation telecommunications. One of the aviation telecommunication tools is the Voice Control Communication System which functions to coordinate the entire communication network used by ATC by switching radio voice channels and telephone voices automatically based on radio frequency addresses or telephone numbers displayed on the touch screen panel that is interconnected via VoIP making it easier for ATC to communicate both radio and telephone to ATC, technician, as well as to the pilot.

Abstract

Radar altimeter adalah perangkat di pesawat yang digunakan untuk mengukur ketinggian atau jarak vertikal dari fuselage ke permukaan bumi atau permukaan air laut. Secara khusus, frekuensi yang digunakan oleh radar altimeter di pesawat terletak pada rentang 4.2 hingga 4.4 GHz. Antena sendiri memiliki pengertian elemen komunikasi yang dapat mengubah besaran listrik dari saluran transmisi menjadi suatu gelombang elektromagnetik. Guna memaksimalkan kinerja radar altimeter, dibutuhkan antena yang mampu menghasilkan pola radiasi unidirectional dengan gain yang tinggi serta bandwidth yang lebar. Antena mikrostrip banyak digunakan dikarenakan memiliki massa yang ringan, proses fabrikasi relatif sederhana menggunakan teknik pencetakan dan pembuatan PCB dengan biaya yang lebih murah, namun antena mikrostrip juga memiliki beberapa kekurangan bandwidth yang kecil dan gain yang rendah sehingga diperlukan beberapa teknik untuk mengatasi hal tersebut. Artikel ini mereview faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi Desain Antena Mikrostrip untuk Radar Altimeter dalam Ilmu Teknik Penerbangan, yaitu Bentuk Patch, Bahan substrat dan Teknik Pembentukan Antena, suatu studi literatur akuntansi perpajakan. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini guna membangun hipotesis pengaruh antar variabel untuk digunakan pada riset selanjutnya. Hasil artikel literature review ini adalah: 1) Bentuk Patch berpengaruh terhadap Desain Antena Mikrostrip untuk Radar Altimeter dalam Ilmu Teknik Penerbangan; 2) Bahan Substrat berpengaruh terhadap Desain Antena Mikrostrip untuk Radar Altimeter dalam Ilmu Teknik Penerbangan; dan 3) Teknik Pembentukan Antena berpengaruh terhadap Desain Antena Mikrostrip untuk Radar Altimeter dalam Ilmu Teknik Penerbangan.
