Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the potential for cultural tourism in the North Minahasa district. The research method is quantitative, with scoring. The findings show that the historical value of the Waruga tomb and the legendary story of Kolam Tumatenden are categorized as attractive for cultural tourism. The meaning of Waruga is the origin, family lineage, and ancestral struggle. The story of the Tumantenden Pond contains values that we can learn from each of these stories.

Abstract

Tourism activities require adequate facilities, infrastructure, and accommodation. This study aims to identify aspects of the facilities, infrastructure, and accessibility of Paal Beach and Pelican Beach tourism objects. The research method uses a quantitative, empirical approach. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires, documentation, and literature studies. Data analysis with scoring analysis The results of the research show that the condition of facilities and accessibility is quite adequate. Meanwhile, the condition of the infrastructure for Paal Beach and Pelican Beach attractions is in a low category.

Abstract

Mangrove ecosystems, apart from functioning ecologically, also have economic and social value. The problem is that mangrove ecosystems are threatened by careless ecosystem management. The research objectives were (1) to analyze the plants, their utilization, and the processing of mangrove plants for the life of the surrounding community. The results showed that the types of Rhizophora apiculata, Avicennia marina, Nypa, Sonneratia caseolaris, and Acanthus ilicifolius grew in the Paluh Gum area. Mangrove plants are used and processed by the community into various snacks and crafts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Bali Process cooperation forum to address human trafficking and smuggling issues in Indonesia in 2016–2018. The research method used is qualitative. The neoliberal approach is assisted by the multi-track concept used to analyze cooperative relations among member countries of the Bali Process. The results of the study explain that the Bali process is quite effective in assisting the handling of people smuggling cases in Indonesia through information exchange and policy dialogue, as well as increasing regional awareness and cooperation. increasing capacity building for law enforcers in member countries so that they can make a real contribution to the prevention and control of transnational crime, namely human smuggling, and trafficking.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the socio-economic influences on the income of gold miners in Ratatotok Satu Village, Ratatotok District, Southeast Minahasa Regency. Research variables of land, costs, technology, labor, and skills. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method. The results of a study, most of the mining land belongs to other people. With their capital, miners finance their operations in small groups at each mining point or tunnel. Miners have been proficient at mining for less than ten years. Most of the miners are elderly.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to obtain land ownership rights and how to protect the law on land certificates for holders of land rights. The method used in this research is the type of normative research or better known as library research by examining existing library materials according to the problem and the sources of data obtained for this research through primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. The results of the research and discussion conducted indicate that in obtaining ownership rights to land, you must first register the land at the land office. Government Regulations Number 10 of 1961 and Number 24 of 1997 have provided legal protection for land certificates for holders of land ownership rights who have registered their land.
