Abstract

Course scheduling is one of the most common problems in education. The number of rooms, the number of teachers, the number of subjects that must be taught, and the teaching hours of teachers who teach not only one school so that a method is needed so that there is no block with other schedules. In designing a course schedule with a limited number of teachers and there are teachers who cannot teach on certain days will be a complicated problem to be solved manually. adaptive which is commonly used to solve a value search in an optimization problem. Adaptive is commonly used to solve a value search in an optimization problem. i.e. the progression of generations in a natural population slowly follows the principle of natural selection or "he who is strong, survives". By emulating this theory, it can be used to find solutions to real-world problems. By applying the course schedule design time and teachers can choose the time to teach according to their time choice so that the course schedule design can be completed faster than the course schedule design. Can be completed faster than the manual schedule design.

Abstract

In the digital age, technology plays an important role in educational institutions such as Battuta University, helping in streamlining administrative processes and data management. The current reliance on Microsoft Excel for document management at the university proved to be inefficient, leading to issues such as misplaced documents, tracking difficulties, and difficulties in archivist management. To address these challenges, the development of a web-based document management system using the Codeigniter Framework is proposed. By utilizing this system, users can easily access and manage documents from various devices. So that the implementation of such a system is expected to improve the process of handling, tracking, and archiving documents, thus benefiting the university, especially in the field of correspondence.

Abstract

This research enhances data security for geolocation information derived from IP addresses using RSA encryption. In today’s digital era, protecting sensitive data is crucial, as personal information is often transferred and stored electronically. Encryption is a key security method that transforms readable data (plaintext) into unreadable code (ciphertext) without the correct decryption key, thereby safeguarding it from unauthorized access. The RSA algorithm, specifically with a 2048-bit key length, has proven effective in securing geolocation data against brute-force attacks, ensuring that only authorized users with the correct decryption key can access the information. This study confirms that RSA encryption allows encrypted geolocation data to be stored safely in databases, maintaining data confidentiality and integrity. Ultimately, this research contributes to the understanding of RSA cryptography's application in data encryption for IP-based location data, offering a reliable method to prevent data manipulation and unauthorized access.

Abstract

Dimsum Homemade's marketing strategy in the culinary field is one of them by increasing innovation in dimsum variants. However, some Homemade Dimsum business actors have shortcomings in understanding the purchasing patterns of dimsum products because there are too many variants of dimsum today. Dimsum Homemade business actors should know the most popular dimsum variants. This relates to the availability of which dim sum stock is the most so as not to experience large losses. So in this case technology is needed related to the dimsum variant purchase pattern algorithm so that sales data accumulates properly and it is easy to find out which dimsum variants are in great demand. One of the solutions needed is to apply the Association Rule Mining method using the a priori algorithm calculation. Application of Association Rule Mining (association rules), which is a data mining technique to find association rules for a combination of items. Based on the description of the problem above, the purpose and objectives of this study are to apply the Association Rule Mining method using the apriori algorithm to make it easier to analyze which dim sum variants have a high level of sales together. Thus the results obtained can be used to help make decisions in increasing accurate stock inventory and better product promotion. Association rules with apriori algorithm calculations can result in Homdemade dimsum purchase patterns, namely there are several association rule patterns that have a fairly high support and confidence value. For example, it is stated that the “Shrimp” dimsum menu has a tendency to buy the “Chicken” dimsum menu and vice versa. Then the “Chicken” dimsum menu becomes a menu associated with other dimsum menus, although the support and confidence values vary.

Abstract

The admission of new students at the Faculty of Technology, Universitas Battuta faces challenges in placing students in study programs that align with their potential, interests, and talents. The placement process, often conducted manually, can result in mismatches between students and their chosen programs, negatively impacting academic performance and student satisfaction. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) using the SAW method. The research findings indicate that this DSS is effective in determining study programs by considering three normalized criteria. The system successfully provides accurate recommendations for new students, thereby reducing subjectivity and enhancing the accuracy of student placement.

Abstract

Everything in this world is bound to change, including technological advancements. Technology will never stop developing. The exchange of data and information is now very fast, even in less than a second. At Battuta University, in processing employee salaries, they still use manual calculations and use the Ms. Excel application. This can cause errors in calculating employee salaries and the process of printing pay slips and employee payroll reports that take a long time. In solving this problem, the author designs a website-based employee payroll application. In designing the application, the author uses a system development methodology, namely the waterfall and qualitative methods, with the application program language made in PHP and MySQL database. The results of this design produce a computerized application program which will be used to process web-based employee salaries at Battuta University and it is hoped that the university will find it easier to input data, compile payroll reports faster and more efficiently.

Abstract

The role of alumni data in supporting institutional development and fostering stronger connections between alumni and their alma mater is significant. Battuta University currently lacks an efficient system for collecting and managing alumni data, which has led to a gap in communication and potential missed opportunities for collaboration. This study aims to design a web-based information system tailored for the systematic collection, management, and utilization of alumni data. Using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, this research outlines each stage of system development, from requirements analysis to deployment. The proposed system features a user-friendly interface, secure data storage, and versatile data retrieval options, allowing administrators to update, manage, and access information effectively. The implementation of this system is expected to facilitate a more structured approach to alumni engagement, enhance communication between the university and its graduates, and support data-driven decision-making processes. This web-based solution is projected to improve the efficiency and reliability of alumni data management, contributing to the university’s strategic goals.

Abstract

The rapid growth of information and communication technology in Indonesia has heightened the need for fast, reliable data access, especially for organizations managing large, distributed workforces. This study proposes an Android-based attendance application using Location-Based Service (LBS) to address the limitations of the current web-based HR system at PT Infomedia Solusi Humanika (ISH), a Human Capital Services provider under the Telkom Group. ISH oversees over 28,000 employees across 420 cities, yet the existing system struggles to support attendance tracking for employees at client offices, affecting records such as leave, performance, and payroll. To solve this, an Android application utilizing the Haversine Formula for accurate location mapping within a 100-meter radius allows employees to log attendance remotely. Developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, the app enables employees to handle attendance, leave requests, and overtime tracking directly through their mobile device, removing the need to access a browser. This solution enhances usability, increases HR efficiency, and ensures accurate performance records, supporting ISH's reputation as a modern HR management provider.
