Abstract

The teaching campus is one of the Merdeka Learning Kampus Merdeka programs, often referred to as MBKM. The teaching campus was formed when Indonesia was hit by COVID-19, which had an impact on the education sector and resulted in the education system being laid off so that many students did not focus on their studies, which resulted in a lack of understanding of literacy and numeracy. Thus, the teaching campus has a very important goal, namely the development of learning models, and also fosters creativity and innovation in learning so as to increase the understanding of literacy and numeracy. School. The school's target for this teaching campus program is Junior High School 4 Sibolga. This study aims to determine how to implement it and its impact on target schools in the areas of understanding literacy, numeracy, technology adaptation, and the school administration department. The research technique used was descriptive-qualitative, collecting data through interviews, observation, or documentation. The results showed that the teaching campus program had a practical impact on increasing student literacy and was quite effective in increasing student numeracy at Junior High School 4 Sibolga.

Abstract

The Teaching Campus is a program initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture as one of the flagship programs of the Independent Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program. The Teaching Campus is a program that provides opportunities for students to study outside of lectures. (Sarma Panggabean, 2022) One of the main objectives of the Teaching Campus is to provide opportunities for students to participate in efforts to improve literacy skills in Indonesia. Open to students from all over Indonesia, and the Teaching Campus offers students to go directly to underdeveloped schools from across the archipelago. The Teaching Campus Program Batch 5 is part of the Merdeka Learning Campus program, which involves students from various campuses and majors to participate in the teaching and learning process at school. It provides opportunities for students to learn and develop themselves with activities outside of lectures. (Fatonah et al. al., 2021) The Teaching Campus program lasts approximately four months, from February 20 to June 12, 2023. The implementation of the Teaching Campus program focuses on literacy, numeracy, technology adaptation, and assisting school administration. Students assist students, especially grade 5 of Mursyidah Surabaya Private Elementary School, with 250 students. The purpose of Teaching Campus 5 is that apart from helping the school, it also helps students to continue to hone their potential, skills and develop themselves through activity opportunities outside of lectures.

Abstract

English speaking ability of seventh-grade students of Bina Mulya junior high school Bandar Lampung from year to year is still low. Based on the observations obtained data, the average value of students’ English learning outcomes is still relatively low. In teaching and learning activities, there is often a lack of student interest and motivation in learning, and this can be caused by inadequate learning facilities that cause boredom for students to learn. This is where the teacher is required to be able to train himself to be skillful in developing his teaching system and be accustomed to providing positive reinforcement and response because the ability of students’ absorption is different. After using the image media, students are more active. These student activities cause student learning outcomes to increase in each cycle. The increasing average value of student learning outcomes in learning activities can show this. So it is concluded that using image media in learning English can increase the average student learning outcomes, especially speaking skills and procedures. Also, the management of image media in learning is very influential on the activity and motivation and the value of student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Hydroxyapatite (HA), a vital component for tissue and porous applications, holds promise in bone regeneration. Derived from calcium carbonate (CaCO3), it's essential for biocompatibility in human bone replacement. This study aims to harness Lampung Province's limestone as a raw material for HA synthesis, simulating human bone properties. Ball milling (2, 3, and 4 hours at 300 rpm) and sintering (600 °C, 800 °C, and 1000 °C for 2, 3, and 4 hours) were varied, with analyses encompassing FTIR, XRD, SEM-EDX, and Vickers hardness. Mountain branch limestone, comprising 97.43% CaCO3, serves as a suitable bone substitute. FTIR spectra of calcined lime powder exhibit PO43-peaks at 1025.45 cm1, Ca-O vibrations at 1413.59 cm1, and OH groups at 3030.33 cm1, mimicking commercial HA. XRD patterns closely resemble the commercial product, with a peak at 2 32.26°. SEM-EDX analysis at 1000 °C for 4 hours reveals a uniform microstructure. Among milling processes, 2-hour milling at 300 rpm exhibits the highest calcium and phosphate levels in EDX results. Vibration testing indicates peak hardness at 1000 °C and 4 hours of processing.

Abstract

There are many mathematics learning strategies used by educators to achieve more optimal results. The PAILKEM learning strategy is one of the learning strategies that makes it possible to achieve learning objectives. The purpose of this study is to improve comprehension results. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a significant influence of the PAILKEM learning strategy (Active, Innovative, Environmental, Creative, effective, and Interesting Learning) on understanding vector material. This research method uses an experimental method using a True Experimental Design. Data analysis was performed using the t-test. The results of the study, after testing the hypothesis using the t-test with a significant level of 0.05 and previously carrying out the normality test and homogeneity test, obtained tcount > ttable, namely tCount = 7.636> ttable = 1.6689, so that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. The conclusion in this study is that there is an influence of the PAILKEM learning strategy (Active, Innovative, Environmental, Creative, effective, and Interesting Learning) on the understanding of vector material.

Abstract

The presence and role of human resource management and lecturers are crucial factors in determining the efficiency and achievement of a college. In order to fulfill their professional responsibilities effectively and efficiently, lecturers must possess a range of essential attributes, including aptitude, motivation, self-regulation, dedication, adherence to workplace norms, and positive morale. The establishment of HR management schools highlights the recognition of the significant role human resources instructors play in influencing the reputation of graduates and the overall standard of higher education. This perspective is substantiated by the observation that faculty members wield significant authority within the academic realm, surpassing that of their counterparts in affiliated educational establishments. The relationship between training objectives and incentives is inherently interconnected. They mutually assist one another. The objective and rewards of training can be categorized into goals and benefits that satisfy both internal and external demands. The objective and advantages of training aimed at addressing internal demands encompass the alignment of training initiatives with the particular interests of human resources. The primary objective of training is to meet the needs of the external community, thereby contributing to the progress and growth of the institution. This has several advantages for the institution. The primary objective of lecturer development is to enhance knowledge, abilities, and attitudes pertaining to jobs or responsibilities within an organization, with the aim of attaining educational objectives and enhancing the overall quality of education.
