Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the relations between: 1) achievement motivation with teachers performance, 2) work discipline with teachers performance also 3) achievement motivation and work discipline with teachers performance simultaneously with teachers performance on public elementary schools in South Kotabumi district on Lampung Utara regency. The kind of this research is quantitative by using method of ex post facto. The samples use Slovin formula as much 105 from 143 teachers who teach on public elementary schools in South Kotabumi district on North Lampung regency. 1) there is positive and significant relation between achievement motivation with teachers performance. 2) there is positive and significant relation between work discipline with teachers performance. 3) there is positive and significant relation between achievement motivation and work discipline with teachers performance.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis hubungan antara: 1) motivasi berprestasi dengan kinerja guru, 2) disiplin kerja dengan kinerja guru juga 3) motivasi berprestasi dan disiplin kerja dengan kinerja guru secara simultan dengan kinerja guru pada sekolah dasar negeri di Selatan kabupaten Kotabumi di kabupaten Lampung Utara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode ex post facto. Sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin sebanyak 105 dari 143 guru yang mengajar di sekolah dasar negeri di Kabupaten Kotabumi Selatan Kabupaten Lampung Utara. 1) Ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara motivasi berprestasi dengan kinerja guru. 2) Ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara disiplin kerja dengan kinerja guru. 3) Ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara motivasi berprestasi dan disiplin kerja dengan kinerja guru.Kata kunci: motivasi berprestasi, disiplin kerja dan prestasi kerja guru

Abstract

Jurnalistik merupakan bagian dari dunia pendidikan yang tidak asing lagi. Di organisasi pendidikan, guru telah berkecimpung dalam dunia tulis menulis melalui pembuatan karya ilmiah maupun esai. Dengan mengikuti workshop jurnalistik akan memudahkan guru di dalam mengenal dunia jurnalistik dalam tingkat yang lebih maju. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah: Pertama, memberikan pelatihan jurnalistik bagi guru-guru SD, SMP, SMA dan SMK Muhammadiyah se-Pringsewu Lampung; Kedua, memotivasi peserta untuk memanfatkan teknologi dengan menjunjung tinggi keluhuran nilai- nilai jurnalistik; Ketiga, Membangun kesadaran peserta tentang hukum UU ITE (Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik) di Indonesia; Keempat, saling bertukar pengalaman antar peserta workshop. Pelatihan ini dirasa penting karena kita menghadapi disrupsi teknologi di semua lini termasuk dunia pendidikan sehingga perlu literasi digital. Pelatihan-pelatihan khususnya bagi para guru perlu diprioritaskan karena indeks literasi digital kita masih tertinggal. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan teori dan praktik yang mencakup ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi, pemecahan masalah, praktek dan pendampingan langsung kepada para guru saat melakukan praktek menulis berita, opini, dan feature. Hasil yang dicapai dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah: Materi pelatihan sangat relevan dengan kebutuhan khalayak sasaran dan dapat diterima, serta dapat dirasakan manfaatnya. Berdasarkan evaluasi kegiatan diperoleh masukan agar kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat seperti ini dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan dengan mengangkat tema lain yang relevan dengan kebutuhan khalayak dan sesuai pula dengan keahlian para guru khususnya di lingkungan Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi Sistem Informasi Kinerja Guru (SIKAGUR) yang mengintegrasikan aplikasi e-Presensi berbasis mobile dan e-Laporan Kinerja berbasis web guna meningkatkan akuntabilitas kinerja guru di Kabupaten Pringsewu. Permasalahan utama dalam sistem manual saat ini mencakup rekapitulasi presensi yang tidak efisien, potensi manipulasi data kehadiran, serta kurangnya bukti valid dalam laporan kinerja harian guru. Untuk mengatasi kelemahan tersebut, penelitian ini menerapkan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, pengujian internal, uji coba lapangan, revisi, dan diseminasi. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 279 guru (252 guru SD dan 27 guru SMP) yang dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling, mempertimbangkan keterwakilan jenjang pendidikan dan kesiapan teknologinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SIKAGUR berhasil dikembangkan dan diuji dengan black-box testing menggunakan teknik boundary value analysis, di mana sistem login e-Presensi dan e-Laporan Kinerja mencapai tingkat keberhasilan 100%. Uji efektivitas menunjukkan bahwa e-Presensi memiliki efektivitas 92,746%, sedangkan e-Laporan Kinerja 93,541%, keduanya dalam kategori Sangat Tinggi. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa digitalisasi sistem kepegawaian mampu meningkatkan transparansi, efisiensi, dan akurasi penilaian kinerja guru. Implementasi SIKAGUR direkomendasikan untuk diperluas ke jenjang PAUD dan Pendidikan Kesetaraan, serta didukung oleh regulasi yang memperkuat kebijakan transformasi digital dalam administrasi pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Scout extracurricular activities and the character values contained in Scout extracurricular activities at SMAN 1 Talang Padang. This study intends to find an overview of management strategies especially in scout extracurricular activities. This type of research is descriptive qualitative in examining field phenomena that occur. This research was conducted on principals, vice principals for curriculum, scout coaches, and student activities both in the field and indoors. Data collection is carried out by means of interviews, observation, and documentation.  The results are the application of good management to extracurricular scouts to shape the character is carried out in 4 stages, namely: planning the learning environment, organizing the learning environment, directing the management, and controlling the management of the learning environment. The planning stage includes the recruitment of scout coaches by the principal, time management, financial management, preparation of work programs, and preparation of materials. Organizing is done by giving responsibility to the homeroom teacher to direct students to participate in extracurricular scouts, and giving responsibility to the scout coach. The implementation of activities is carried out once a week. Briefings are made by the principal to the scout leader so that the activity can run well. Controlling is a supervision carried out to find out whether scout activities are running well or not

Abstract

English speaking ability of seventh-grade students of Bina Mulya junior high school Bandar Lampung from year to year is still low. Based on the observations obtained data, the average value of students’ English learning outcomes is still relatively low. In teaching and learning activities, there is often a lack of student interest and motivation in learning, and this can be caused by inadequate learning facilities that cause boredom for students to learn. This is where the teacher is required to be able to train himself to be skillful in developing his teaching system and be accustomed to providing positive reinforcement and response because the ability of students’ absorption is different. After using the image media, students are more active. These student activities cause student learning outcomes to increase in each cycle. The increasing average value of student learning outcomes in learning activities can show this. So it is concluded that using image media in learning English can increase the average student learning outcomes, especially speaking skills and procedures. Also, the management of image media in learning is very influential on the activity and motivation and the value of student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Effective leadership at the rectoral level plays a strategic role in shaping lecturer performance and institutional effectiveness in higher education. This study explores how rectoral leadership practices influence lecturer performance within a university context, drawing on perspectives of transformational, bureaucratic, and value-based leadership. Employing a qualitative case study design within an interpretivist paradigm, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis involving university leaders, academic staff, and institutional records. Thematic analysis was applied to identify patterns of leadership practices related to motivation, performance management, and institutional support. The findings indicate that rectoral leadership contributes to lecturer performance primarily through structured coordination mechanisms, value-driven motivational communication, and the delegation of performance-related programs across institutional units. Leadership practices emphasize alignment with core academic responsibilities, including teaching, research, community service, and the integration of institutional values. Although leadership implementation is largely hierarchical, it is perceived positively due to its clarity of vision, moral legitimacy, and consistency with organizational culture. The study contributes to higher education leadership literature by providing empirical insights into how rectoral leadership functions as a multidimensional process that combines strategic direction, bureaucratic coordination, and value-based engagement to support lecturer performance. However, the findings are limited by their single-case design and context specificity. Future research is recommended to adopt comparative or multi-site approaches and to incorporate mediating factors such as organizational culture, job satisfaction, and academic motivation to further explain leadership–performance dynamics in higher education.
