Abstract

The role of the family is very important in carrying out family health duties for family members who carry out hypertension self-management. Apart from the family, the role of health workers is to carry out strategies for pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment. The Health Promotion model is a non-pharmacological strategy that must be implemented by health workers. This research is to determine the relationship between family health tasks and self-management of hypertensive clients at the Silo 1 Health Center, Jember Regency. This research design uses a correlational cross sectional approach, the population is 454 hypertensive clients, the size used is 213 hypertensive clients, the sampling technique uses simple random sampling, data analysis uses the Spearman Rank test. Tested using the family health task questionnaire and HSMBQ. Based on the research results, most of the family health tasks were in the quite good category, numbering 159 people (74.7%) while hypertensive clients who had quite good self-management were 172 respondents (80%). Analysis of the relationship between family health tasks and self-management resulted in a p value = 0.012 with r = 0.172 so that H0 was rejected, which means there is a significant relationship between family health tasks and self-management of hypertensive clients. The results of this study can be a basis for health workers, especially those who focus on hypertension health problems, to make efforts to improve health promotion.

Abstract

An emergency is a clinical situation that requires immediate medical intervention to save lives and prevent disability. There are many complaints filed by families of patients who feel they do not get service even though they come early, this is due to several factors including internal factors and external factors. The length of service in the emergency room causes the patient's family to be anxious because they do not immediately get treatment. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the nurse's response time and the anxiety level of the family of patients in the yellow triage category in the emergency room of Balung Regional Hospital. This research design is a correlation with a crosssectional approach. The population of this study was 701 respondents with a sample of 70 respondents. The sampling technique used was non probability sampling with purposive sampling approach. The instruments in this study were questionnaires and observation sheets. The results of the Spearman's Rho statistical test with α = 0.05 obtained p value = 0.001 and r = 0.401 which means that response time has a moderate relationship with the patient's family anxiety level. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between response time and the anxiety level of the family of patients in the yellow triage category at the Emergency Room of Balung Regional Hospital.

Abstract

Drug management is a managerial principle of hospitals, especially in terms of drug management in hospitals which aims to prevent stock out and stagnant stock. If this happens, it will result in inefficiency and become medically and economically bad. Because the quality of good drug services will improve the overall quality of hospital services. The design of this study is a literature review. The search for the articles discussed in this study uses several databases, including Google Scholar and ScienceDirect, with a time span of 2014 to 2024. The keywords used to search for the article are drug management, hospital, drug management. The type of article used is a research article. The collected articles are then re-selected using inclusion criteria, namely: 1) the purpose of the article is to analyze drug management in hospitals, 2) it is a cross-sectional research, and the exclusion criteria, namely 1) it is not a full-text article, 2) the article does not use Indonesian or English. The importance of drug management in pharmaceutical installations in achieving optimal health services in hospitals, so the drug management process needs to be supervised to find out the weaknesses and advantages in its operational implementation.

Abstract

One of the most important roles of nurses is as a provider of nursing care that focuses on the patient's healing process and fulfilling health needs holistically. To determine the relationship between the role of nurses as caregivers and the level of patient satisfaction in the inpatient room at Baladhika Husada Hospital, Jember. Quantitative descriptive research design with cross-sectional method. The population in this study were inpatients at Baladhika Husada Hospital Jember during September – November 2023 with a population of 327 patients. The sample used in this study was 85 inpatients. The sampling technique uses Quota Sampling. The results of research on the level of patient satisfaction showed that 91.8% were very satisfied, 3.5% satisfied, 4.7% dissatisfied.  The results of research using the Spearman Rho Rank test (α = 0.05) show that there is a significant relationship between the role of nurses as caregivers and the level of patient satisfaction. The conclusion of this research is that there is a significant relationship between the role of nurses as caregivers and the level of patient satisfaction.

Abstract

One effort to improve the quality of health services is by improving the quality of medical record services, including completeness and accuracy in providing information for health service needs. The completeness of filling out the outpatient medical assessment form at Tongas Regional Hospital, Probolinggo, still contains incomplete medical record forms, which affects patient information and routine reports made by medical records officers. The aim of this research is to identify the percentage of completeness of outpatient medical assessments at Tongas Probolinggo Regional Hospital. This type of research uses quantitative methods based on a descriptive approach, data collection techniques use random sampling techniques, this technique is used to take samples randomly and come from members of the population and data was collected using observation and literature review techniques using the Slovin formula with the results of 92 medical record forms. The results of the completeness of filling out outpatient medical assessments at Tongas Probolinggo Regional Hospital from 92 medical records taken in January 2024 showed a percentage of completeness of 95% and incompleteness of 5%.
