Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of using the daily undulating periodization (dup) model on increasing muscle endurance. The results showed that using the Daily Undulating Periodization (DUP) model can significantly improve muscular endurance compared to the linear or traditional periodization model. The method used in this research is one group pre test - post test design. The participants in this study were 15 undergraduate students of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. The research was conducted for 8 weeks and treatment was carried out 3 times a week in 24 sessions, which were held at the FPOK Fitness Laboratory. The data were then analyzed using normality and homogeneity tests and paired sample t-test. From the results of the data processing above, it shows that the normality test results for the Upperbody pre test (0.326) > 0.05 and for the Upperbody post test (0.377) > 0.05, for the Lowerbody pretest (0.357) > 0.05 and for the Lowerbody post test (0.696) > 0.05, it can be concluded that the data obtained is normally distributed. Based on the data above, the results of the homogeneity of Push Up p = 0.935 and the Wall Sit variable = 0.652, which means that the data is homogeneous. Based on the table above, the Push Up and Wall Sit experimental groups that have received treatment have a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, so H0 is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of using the daily undulating periodization (DUP) model on increasing muscle endurance.

Abstract

Football is a sport that requires mastery of fundamental techniques, including accurate shooting, to score goals and win matches. Observations at SSB Tesa FC Kutaraja revealed that many players struggle with shooting techniques, highlighting the need for an effective training method to address this issue. This study emphasizes the importance of improving shooting quality among SSB Tesa FC Kutaraja players, given that shooting is a critical skill in football for scoring goals and securing victories. The findings indicate that plyometric training significantly enhances players' shooting accuracy. The Wilcoxon test carried out produced a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000, which indicated a significant increase in shooting accuracy after plyometric training. This approach has significantly improved shooting skills, making it a valuable addition to football training programs. The contribution of this research lies in reinforcing the theoretical foundation on the effectiveness of plyometric training in skill development and providing coaches with guidance for designing more effective training programs. Future research is encouraged to explore the combined effects of plyometric training with other methods to further enhance football skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve volleyball players' ability in lower passing by using exercises for defense and receiving and serving. It was determined from field analysis data that the players were unable to receive serves and attacks from their opponents. This study used an experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test using quantitative methodology. The study population consisted of female volleyball extracurricular participants of SMK Negeri 2 Kuningan. Purposive sampling was the technique used for the sample. To measure the lower passing ability, the Brady volleyball test was used. Data was examined using Paired Samples T-Test, Normality Test, and Homogeneity Test. After practicing the receive serve drill and the defense technique drill, the findings showed considerable improvement in the lower passing ability. The data was homogeneous and regularly distributed, and the t-test produced a significant result of 0.000 < 0.05. In conclusion, practicing these techniques can improve your ability to pass the ball lower during volleyball matches. A more in-depth understanding of the long-term effectiveness of this method can be obtained through its application in continuous practice.

Abstract

Physical activity is very important for human health in carrying out daily activities. Sedentary activities caused by playing online or offline games too often, internet, watching television too much will result in the risk of obesity. Overweight is considered a risk factor for various diseases, such as diabetes, heart disease, hypertension and many others. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence and how much information technology users on students' physical activity at SMA Negeri 3 Slawi. This research uses a quantitative approach through correlation techniques and correlation methods. The subjects in this study were class X students of SMA Negeri 3 Slawi using cluster random sampling consisting of 27 classes with a total population of 558 students categorized as 257 male students and 278 female students. And from the results of cluster random sampling obtained 5 classes with a total sample of 150 students. The data analyzed in this study were Descriptive analysis and Inferential analysis. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between the use of technology (X) and physical activity (Y). This can be proven by the correlation coefficient value (Ry1) = 0.133 with the regression equation y ̂ = 6.123 + 0.007 X. The coefficient of determination shows that r2 = (0.113)2 = 0.176, meaning 17.6%. Physical activity is influenced by the use of technology, so this study concludes that there is a relationship between the use of technology and physical activity.

Abstract

This research uses quantitative research methods with a pre-experimental research design which goes through two stages, namely the pre-test and post-test stages. Which aims to measure static balance and dynamic balance abilities in children aged 4-5 years through structured games activities in 30 children. The results of this study show that the balance ability of children aged 4-5 years increased after treatment. Playing structured games has an influence on children's balance abilities at RA Darussalam Purwodeso. The pre-test showed that the child's balance ability had not developed optimally. Then treatment was carried out through playing structured games for 2 days, followed by a post-test. The post-test results show that the child's balance ability improved after being given treatment, this can be seen from the increase in the scores obtained.
