Abstract

In the 90s, traditional games such as gobak gobrak sodor, engklek, jump rope, panggal (spinning wheel), egrang and patok lele turned into the main games played by children after school or during school holidays. However, due to the development of the times, the influence of the development of technology and social media has changed the games of today's children from group and active to individual and passive. Traditional games that are full of culture, national values, and even elements that are useful for child development are being neglected. Abstract

Physical activity is very important for human health in carrying out daily activities. Sedentary activities caused by playing online or offline games too often, internet, watching television too much will result in the risk of obesity. Overweight is considered a risk factor for various diseases, such as diabetes, heart disease, hypertension and many others. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence and how much information technology users on students' physical activity at SMA Negeri 3 Slawi. This research uses a quantitative approach through correlation techniques and correlation methods. The subjects in this study were class X students of SMA Negeri 3 Slawi using cluster random sampling consisting of 27 classes with a total population of 558 students categorized as 257 male students and 278 female students. And from the results of cluster random sampling obtained 5 classes with a total sample of 150 students. The data analyzed in this study were Descriptive analysis and Inferential analysis. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between the use of technology (X) and physical activity (Y). This can be proven by the correlation coefficient value (Ry1) = 0.133 with the regression equation y ̂ = 6.123 + 0.007 X. The coefficient of determination shows that r2 = (0.113)2 = 0.176, meaning 17.6%. Physical activity is influenced by the use of technology, so this study concludes that there is a relationship between the use of technology and physical activity.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the patterns, types, and nature of injuries experienced by teenage Pencak Silat athletes in the competitive category from the Special Sports Class in Central Java Province. The method applied in this research is quantitative descriptive with a survey technique using questionnaires and interviews. The subjects of this research are 30 teenage Pencak Silat athletes from the Special Sports Class in Central Java Province who meet the criteria of having trained in Pencak Silat for a minimum of 5 years and having participated in Pencak Silat competitions at the district, provincial, and national levels. The data analysis technique used in this research is the qualitative frequency and percentage analysis conducted using Microsoft Excel software. The results show that all teenage Pencak Silat athletes in the competitive category from the Special Sports Class in Central Java Province have experienced injuries, with the details as follows: head injuries account for 9.26%, body injuries for 4.63%, hand injuries for 46.30%, and leg injuries for 39.81%. Based on this data, it is also evident that hand injuries are the most common among teenage Pencak Silat athletes in the competitive category from the Special Sports Class in Central Java Province, followed by leg injuries, head injuries, and the least common are body injuries

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of resistance band training on throw-in distance in terms of arm muscle strength in soccer players aged 11-15 years. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study using a quasi-experimental method with a two group pretest-posttest design, where one control group and one treatment group. The research subjects were 24 people. The sample was selected through purposive sampling. The test instrument to measure throwing distance is a meter and arm muscle strength using the push-up test. This study uses descriptive tests to describe the minimum, maximum, and average values, homogeneity tests using Kolmogorov-Smirnov, influence tests using One-Sample T-Test and correlation tests using Pearson. The results showed that (1) there was an effect of giving resistance band training on arm muscle strength with a sig value. 0.00. (2) there is an effect of resistance band training on throw-in distance (p=0.00); (3) there is a relationship between arm muscle strength and throw-in distance which can be seen from the sig value of 0.383 than r table. The conclusion obtained in this study is that arm muscle strength affects the throwing distance of SSB GAMA FC studentsAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan resistance band terhadap jarak throw in di tinjau dari kekuatan otot lengan pada pemain sepak bola usia 11-15 tahun. Abstract

This research aims to develop physical activities based on racket striking that are suitable for early childhood education children in Yogyakarta City. The research method employed is a simplified version of the Research & Development (R&D) model, which condenses the original ten stages into four main phases: Information Gathering, Development of Preliminary Product Form and Validation, Operational Field Testing, and Final Product Revision. The research subjects consisted of 64 ECE students from four schools in Yogyakarta City, selected using a proportional total sampling technique. The data analysis methods used were the Aiken V test and Dependent t-test. The research findings indicate that physical activities based on racket striking have an Aiken V value of 0.83, which signifies high validity. In the Operational Field Testing, it was found that the effectiveness of physical activities based on racket striking had a dependent t-test significance value of 0.00; thus it can be concluded that the physical activities based on racket striking can be used as a practical learning material to support the motor development of young children while considering safety aspects and its alignment with the developmental stages of children
