Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to describe the importance for teachers of studying thesociology of education. This is because in the educational socialization processthere can be obstacles due to difficulties in communication and the existence ofdifferent or conflicting behavior patterns between teachers and students. Thisresearch uses descriptive qualitative methods and obtains data through literaturestudy. The results of this research are that each individual must try to harmonizeenvironmental needs and conditions as closely as possible, including at school. Therefore, it is very important for teachers to study, master and understand educational sociology because it is a science that studies the process of socialinteraction and a person's socio-cultural conditions. . Humans are socialcreatures, and everyone certainly needs other people's roles in their lives. Theserelationships and bonds are established through social interaction. In education,social interaction is studied in a science called educational sociology.

Abstract

Education is important for people's lives. Because with education a person is able to actualize himself. Education provides progress in human thinking, so that their standard of living increases. In its development over time, education has transformed into a system.. In other words, education is a process of developing abilities to influence students to be able to adapt as best as possible to their environment. Educational institutions (schools) are often considered to be one of the most conservative and static social institutions in society. Schools as formal educational institutions are less able to follow and respond to the rapid changes occurring in society. In order for educational activities to be able to equip students to face life challenges in the future, it is necessary to anticipate what life challenges will be in the future. Rapid changes in people's social life often give rise to phenomena in society and are related to the world of education. Because of this, there are those who accuse the world of education of failing to develop the morals of its students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of zakat from swiftlet farming and its impact on the welfare of the community in Pancawarna Village, Pedamaran Timur Subdistrict, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants included swiftlet farmers, village officials, and zakat recipients. The results indicate that most swiftlet farmers have not fully understood their obligation to pay zakat from their business, and there is no official village-level zakat management institution. Some commun ity members distribute their income in the form of donations, such as money or basic necessities, but this has not yet complied with Islamic law. The low implementation of zakat is influenced by limited religious knowledge, economic instability due to fluctuations in swiftlet nest prices, and insufficient outreach from the government and zakat institu tions. The study concludes that while the potential of swiftlet business zakat is significant, it has not yet substantially improved community welfare. Therefore, guidance, education, and more effective zakat management are necessary to maximize its role as an economic instrument for social welfare.

Abstract

This research adopts a quantitative approach with a correlational research method. The purpose of this study is to examine Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM), consumer purchase decisions of Nyambel Rampai Geh, and the relationship between the two through Instagram among Generation Z. Data collection methods included distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who are active followers of the Instagram account @sambelrampai_official, documentation to obtain secondary data, and conducting a literature review. Data analysis was conducted using Pearson’s correlation coefficient test with inferential statistics to measure the relationship between variables. The research results show a relationship between e-WOM and purchase decisions, but the relationship is relatively weak. Based on Pearson’s correlation coefficient test, a coefficient value of –0.195 was obtained with a significance level of 0.194. These findings indicate that the existing e-WOM content has not been effective in improving purchase decisions for Nyambel Rampai Geh among Generation Z on Instagram.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of innovation strategies and product quality improvement on customer satisfaction in processed wood products and their derivatives in East Kalimantan. The research employed a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 278 respondents selected from a population of 1,616 consumers using simple random sampling based on the Slovin formula. The collected data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the WarpPLS software. The results indicate that innovation strategies and product quality have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. This finding suggests that companies capable of implementing continuous innovation and maintaining high product quality are better able to meet customer needs and expectations. Therefore, improving product quality and innovation is essential in enhancing customer satisfaction and strengthening the competitiveness of processed wood products in the market.

Abstract

This study examines the cost performance of the Integrated Laboratory Building construction project by comparing the 2023 and 2025 Cost Budget Plans (Rencana Anggaran Biaya/RAB). The objective is to identify cost variances in each major work category and evaluate the efficiency of budget utilization. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed using official RAB documents from both periods as the primary data source. Variance analysis was conducted by calculating absolute and percentage differences between the estimated and contract values. The results indicate that the total budget in 2025 decreased by IDR 1.35 billion (2.91%) compared with the 2023 estimate. Significant cost increases occurred in electrical panel works (430.3%) and plumbing systems (152.7%), while the greatest efficiencies were achieved in façade works (13.6%) and air-conditioning systems (13.8%). Overall, the 2025 contract value achieved an efficiency level of 97.09% relative to the estimated budget, indicating good and efficient cost performance in project implementation.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of TPAS Puuwatu in implementing circular economy in the waste management system and its contribution to improving the economy of scavengers. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out interactively through data reduction and data presentation. The informants consist of fifteen people, including formal informants and key informants. The results of the study show that TPAS Puuwatu has transformed into a community-based circular ecosystem through the controlled landfill method. The application of the 3R principle is primarily driven by the role of the scavenger as a "natural filter" that strengthens the initial sorting. However, the implementation of the recovery principle was weakened due to damage to methane gas infrastructure, while redesign and remanufacture were constrained by limited technology and human resources. The economic contribution is seen through an increase in the income of scavengers, with the level of difference influenced by gender.

Abstract

Loneliness is a subjective experience arising from a discrepancy between desired and actual social relationships. This article aims to examine loneliness as a risk factor for psychopathology and its implications for clinical psychology practice. The study employed a narrative literature review method by analyzing literature from Google Scholar, PubMed, and Garuda using keywords related to loneliness, psychopathology, and mental health published between 2016–2026. The findings indicate that loneliness is associated with various mental disorders, including depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and suicidal ideation. Loneliness contributes to psychopathology through cognitive, biological, and interpersonal mechanisms, such as social hypervigilance, negative cognitive distortions, and dysregulation of biological stress systems. Furthermore, loneliness and psychopathology demonstrate a reciprocal relationship that may worsen individuals’ psychological conditions. These findings highlight the importance of assessing and addressing loneliness in mental health services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze waste management strategies for coastal environmental conservation and identify the factors influencing community waste disposal behavior in Boneatiro Village, Kapontori District, Buton Regency. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method with an ecological approach. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman data analysis model. The findings reveal that waste management strategies include the implementation of the 3R principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), community clean-up activities, public awareness programs, and collaboration between the village government and the local community. SWOT analysis indicates that the implementation has not yet been optimal due to limited public knowledge, the habit of disposing of waste into the sea, and inadequate waste management facilities. Educational level, age, income, and the availability of facilities influence community behavior in waste management. Strengthening environmental education, improving waste management infrastructure, and enhancing community participation are key strategies for achieving sustainable coastal waste management and supporting coastal environmental conservation.
