Abstract

Indonesian society has a very high dependence on rice. The consumption level of rice reaches 139 kg/capita per year, this figure is higher than other countries such as Japan which has a consumption rate of 45 kg, Malaysia 80 kg, and Thailand 90 kg per year. This study aims to determine the level of Fe metal in rice using atomic absorption spectrophotometer instrument. The Fe content of the rice sample which was done in duplo was obtained at 12.84 mg/kg. This research uses an Inductive Approach where this research often begins with data collection without an initial hypothesis, and theories or generalizations arise from the analysis of the data obtained. The results of the levels of Fe metal in rice use a calibration curve which states the relationship between the levels of working solutions including blanks with a proportional response. Heavy metal Fe in rice tested in duplicates is not suitable for consumption because it exceeds the threshold allowed by the Decree of the Indonesian Minister of Health No. 492 of 2010. According to the regulation, Fe metal that does not exceed the threshold is 0.3 mg/kg.

Abstract

Food is food or drink that must be guaranteed food safety for human consumption. One aspect of food safety that needs to be considered is the use of Food Additives (FA). Food additives are materials added to food to influence the nature or shape of the food, an example is dye. Some enterpreneurs use dyes to give food colors that are more striking, such as using dyes in candy. However, the dyes used by entrepreneurs are synthetic dyes not for food, such as auramine and methanyl yellow. The use of auramine and methanyl yellow dyes in candy can be identified using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) through chromatogram results. The research results obtained were that x candy did not contain auramine and methanyl yellow dyes. In the results of the chromatogram research, the 1st repeat and 2nd repeat candy samples did not have an area at the retention time of the auramine and methanyl yellow standard solution.

Abstract

The background of this research is to understand the strategy of managing a library that has dual functions, namely as a place of education and recreation, in the context of STIHPADA Library. The research method is descriptive qualitative method, the main method is interview with qualitative approach, documentation method to support data collection. The documentation includes taking photos, videos, audio recordings, and literature review which includes references from relevant journals. The use of various data sources is expected to provide more detailed and comprehensive information related to the research topic. The data collected is then explained narratively, using words to convey the meaning and interpretation of the findings. With this approach, it is hoped that this article will be able to provide an in-depth and accurate understanding of the subject under study, as well as present useful information for the development of literature and research in related fields. The results showed that Innovation in Services where the application of modern technology in the library, for example the use of digital systems for borrowing books, e-book access, or application-based services that facilitate visitors.

Abstract

This research discusses the challenges and strategies of library information literacy in the digital era, focusing on the development of electronic collection publishing in Indonesia. In the digital era, access to information has undergone significant changes with the emergence of electronic collections such as e-books, electronic journals, and multimedia. However, there are challenges that need to be overcome, such as limited access, cybercrime actions, copyright issues, and budgetary constraints. By adapting to technological developments and fostering collaboration between institutions, digital libraries have the potential to expand access to library collections and strengthen literacy culture in society. The research method used is qualitative with a literature review, with analysis using open coding techniques. The main themes identified include reading interest trends and literacy culture, publishing transformation in the digital era, and analysis of literacy culture in electronic collection publishing. By understanding the challenges and implementing appropriate strategies, it is expected that library information literacy will increase in supporting the development of electronic collection publishing in Indonesia.

Abstract

Each type of soil has different properties and characteristics, it is important to test the pH and moisture content of the soil to ensure optimal soil quality, soil productivity value and determine appropriate treatment steps. For testing soil moisture content, the gravimetric method is used which refers to work instruction document number 15.4/IK/soil/2020. The research method was potentiometric. The pH value indicates the concentration of H+ ions in the soil solution expressed as -log [H+]. An increase in H+ concentration increases the potential of the solution which is measured by the device and converted to the pH scale. The potential arising is measured based on the potential of the comparison electrode (calomel or AgCl). Usually one electrode is used which already consists of a comparison electrode and a glass electrode (combination electrode). The concentration of H+ extracted with water states the active (actual) acidity while 1 M KCl states the reserve (potential) acidity. Active acidity is caused by H+ ions in the soil solution, while potential acidity is caused by H+ and Al3+ ions found on the soil surface.

Abstract

Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is one of the biggest contributors to the greenhouse effect. One way to reduce carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is to convert carbon dioxide and use it in chemicals, for example by hydrogenating CO2 into methane. The aim of this research is to produce methane gas from carbon dioxide using Ni/ Al2O3 and Zn catalysts with temperature variations and to determine the effect of variations in the addition of Zn and temperature on CO2 methanation. The method used is in situ. In this research, CO2 is used as a raw material with a Ni/Al2O3 catalyst of 8 grams and Zn will be adjusted to variations of 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5 and 5.5. To analyze the Methane (CH4) gas produced, it will be analyzed using a Multi Gas Detector Analyzer. The research results show that the highest value of methane gas produced in situ was obtained in sample 15 with a temperature variation of 60 0C and a Zn catalyst mass of 5.5 grams, namely 13.56%.

This paper intent to Know Influnce Likuiditas and Solvabilitas  to Rentabilitas to PT. Samudera Lautan Utama, Data collecting is done by use of interview and documentation. Analysis is data utilizes Analysis descriptive kualitatif.  The Result of this research that corporate Liquidity up to two the last year points out to mark sense ascensions Cash Ratio  as big as 16.32 %. that ascension because marks sense cash current asset affix and bank in year 2012, meanwhile Current Ratio  and Quick Ratio company experiences decrease each of 12.72 % for Current Ratio  and 8.89 % for Quick Ratio . Ratio is firm Solvency for year 2015 and 2014 still rank solvabel, still point out good situation for firm, but then argus-eyed regular and needs to mark sense corporate capital affix to increase more finance performance lovely at proximately. On year 2015 Ratio's Margin gross  experiencing ascension as big as 4.57 % it points out to mark sense cost-saving those aresued to get production result can be reached. Meanwhile for Operating is Ratio's Margin  experiencing decrease as big as 0,98 %.

Abstract

The role of thermal efficiency of the calciner is very important because it describes the performance of the calciner,  whether or not the performance of the calciner can be seen from the efficiency of the thermal calciner. The thermal efficiency of  the calciner obtained  based on the calculation of the Mass Balance and Heat Balance ranges from 75,59%-79,74% with an average  actual thermal efficiency of 77,26% while for the average heat loss of 22,74%. The results of efficiency calculations show that the performance  of the calciner tool in terms of thermal efficiency of the calciner unit  is quite efficient and still good for use, because it is characterized by the efficiency of the thermal calciner unit is still included in the range of  thermal calciner efficiency by design. From the average amount of CO2 produced from calcination of 100.033,7376 kg/hour and fuel combustion of 43.201,24151 kg/hour, will have an adverse impact on the quality of the surrounding air. So it must be minimized in the use of coal and maximize efficiency in the kiln system.

Abstract

Grate cooler adalah alat pendingin yang letaknya setelah rotary kiln.Udara pendingin cooler didapatkan dari hembusan dari 13 unit fan. Udara ini akanmendinginkan klinker yang keluar dari kiln dengan metode pendinginan secara cepat atau disebut juga metode quenching. Grate cooler merupakan pendingin yang paling modern. Pada awal perkembangan pemakaian grate cooler dimaksudkan untuk mendapatkan laju pendinginan yang cepat dengan tujuan mengurangi pengaruh kristal periclase, sehingga diperoleh kualitas klinker yang baik, perpindahan panas yang baik sangat mempengharui cooler jenis ini agar dapat menerima klinker dengan temperatur ± 1400 – 1200 ?. Perpindahan yang terjadi di alat ini adalalah pada kondisi cross current dan counter current. Peralatan grate cooler tidak bisa dipisahkan letaknya dari kiln karena terpasang langsung menyambung pada outlet kiln.

Abstract

The occurrence of various dynamics in the international world, such as global issues, requires students to increase their knowledge related to various issues and problems currently happening in the international world. Global issues is to participate in the Model United Nations organization Apart from helping to increase knowledge about global issues, this simulation of UN conference sessions can also hone and improve various other skills such as research, speaking, negotiating, and diplomacy skills. This article uses a qualitative research method that will explain the research results descriptively, following the empirical reality of the phenomenon. Data collection techniques in this study used literature study, which made books, reputable journals, websites, and other scientific articles as reading material and theoretical analysis. The results obtained from this article are that the Model UN organization can train students' diplomacy skills through a UN session conference that students attend. The students will act as delegates who will represent a country and are required to cooperate with other delegates in providing solutions to resolve these global issues.
