Abstract

The optimal utilization of fishery resources represents a strategic opportunity to improve the economic well-being of coastal communities. Bandar Negeri Village, located in Labuhan Maringgai District, East Lampung Regency, holds significant potential in milkfish processing. However, its use has so far been limited to fresh or minimally processed products. This community service activity aims to enhance local residents' skills in processing milkfish into value-added products, namely tofu meatball topping (TOBATO) and fish floss, to increase product value and create new business opportunities. The method used is the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which focuses on strengthening community capacity through hands-on training and continuous mentoring. The results of the activity show improved participants' skills in milkfish processing, which led to increased product sales value and household income. In the long term, this program is expected to strengthen the village's economic independence and promote the sustainable use of fishery resources.

Abstract

The importance of instilling anti-corruption principles early on, especially in secondary schools, underlies this community service activity. Corruption is a serious problem that affects the nation's social, economic and moral order. Therefore, anti-corruption education must be provided to the younger generation as a preventive effort in building a moral character. The purpose of this activity is to improve students' understanding of the concept of corruption, the negative impacts it causes, the different types and forms of punishment, and the factors that cause corruption to emerge in Indonesia. The activity was conducted at TMI Roudlatul Qur'an High School in Metro City, Lampung, especially in class XI.1, with classical learning method. As teaching materials, the Materials were delivered through PowerPoint presentations on the blackboard and explained interactively by the service team in class. This community service activity has achieved its main objective, which is to increase students' understanding and awareness of anti-corruption concepts, impacts, and values, which can be achieved through the educational-participatory approach used. This is demonstrated by the improvement in students' understanding of the definition of corruption, types of corruption, and its negative impacts on social and national life, as seen from students' responses during discussion sessions, Q&A, and educational games. Although students were initially passive at the beginning of the activity, their involvement increased with the use of interactive methods relevant to the characteristics of secondary school students

Abstract

Purpose: The Greenhouse Revitalization activity at MTsN 1 Kota Palangka Raya aims to address the declining function of the school greenhouse as a learning facility and to reduce the accumulation of plastic bottle waste within the school environment. This program is also intended to integrate ethnopedagogical values and enhance students’ ecological awareness in realizing an environmentally conscious school. Methodology: The activity was implemented using a participatory project-based approach involving teachers, students, and the Magang Mengabdi team. The stages included coordination and preparation, material processing, and assembling and installing greenhouse walls made from used plastic bottles. This collaborative approach encouraged active participation from all school members throughout the implementation process. Findings: The results indicate that the program successfully revitalized the greenhouse’s function as a contextual learning medium while fostering students’ environmental awareness through the application of the 3R principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). The use of plastic bottles provided functional, aesthetic, and educational value and became a simple innovation model that can be replicated in other schools. The activity also highlighted the essential role of school leadership and collaboration among the school community in supporting SDGs 4, 12, and 13, namely quality education, responsible consumption and production, and climate action.
