Abstract

This study is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to map the dynamics, challenges, and impacts of innovation, especially driven by digitalization in the contemporary enterprise and entrepreneurial ecosystem. This SLR is important because the existing literature is still fragmented and has not yet presented an integrated synthesis in the midst of a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous) business environment. Using the PRISMA methodology, 15 key articles for the 2020-2025 period were analyzed in depth. The main results show that digital innovation and entrepreneurial competence are the main determinants of MSME performance and competitiveness. There is a strong positive relationship between innovation and business performance. Interestingly, the findings indicate that individual entrepreneurial competencies often have a more direct and significant impact on performance than the results of product innovation itself. Although digitalization provides opportunities for market expansion and efficiency, MSMEs still face serious challenges in the form of digital literacy limitations and financial constraints. Educational institutions are emphasized to have a vital role in building sustainable entrepreneurial and ethical attitudes. The theoretical implication is the need for more sophisticated models to differentiate innovation impact pathways. Meanwhile, its managerial implications encourage business actors to focus on process innovation and improve adaptive competencies in order to survive global uncertainty.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically review performance measuring factors in MSMEs in the digital era in Indonesia. The research method uses Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the design of the PRISMA framework. The data sources used were obtained from various databases of quality scientific publications including emerald, taylor and francis, springerlink, and sciencedirect, with a time span from January 2020 to June 2025. A total of 24 international scientific articles published in the period were analyzed for further identification on the main trends, main topics, and research directions. The results of the study show that the role of digital transformation has become an important factor in shaping the performance of MSMEs in the modern era. The factors that measure the performance of MSMEs are related to entrepreneurial competence, adaptation to technology, innovation ability, and government support. Some of these supporting factors also support resilience and sustainability for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). However, the success of work achievements for business actors cannot be separated from adequate organizational readiness and resources, as well as good governance. This study contributes academically in the form of a conceptual framework for performance improvement measures for MSMEs, as well as providing recommendations as strategies for micro, small, and medium business actors to increase productivity so that businesses can grow and be sustainable in the digital era.

The research method uses Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the design of the PRISMA framework. The data sources used were obtained from various databases of quality scientific publications including emerald, taylor and francis, springerlink, and sciencedirect, with a time range from 2020 to 2025. A total of 15 international scientific articles published in the period were analyzed for further identification of the main trends, main topics, and research directions. The results of the study show that the results of the study show that three main components consist of Innovative Work Behavior Determinants (PKI) in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the modern era: Organizational/Interpersonal Factors, Leadership Factors, and Individual Factors. This Systematic Review serves as a comprehensive summary of evidence that collectively corroborates individual findings, increases confidence in applicable practices, and directs MSME strategies to ensure survival and competitive advantage amid the challenges of the digital age.

Abstract

Job satisfaction is the positive or negative feeling employees have toward their work, which arises from evaluating various aspects of the job. This study aims to analyze and explain the role of organizational climate in mediating the effect of transformational leadership on the job satisfaction of Taman Prakerti Bhuana employees through an associative quantitative approach using saturated sampling (census) on 86 employees and Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis. The results indicate that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and organizational climate, while organizational climate has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction and negatively mediates the relationship between transformational leadership and job satisfaction. These findings have theoretical implications for Herzberg’s Two-Factor Theory, in which transformational leadership serves as a motivator factor that can increase job satisfaction, while negative perceptions of organizational climate reflect weaknesses in hygiene factors such as policies, communication, and working conditions, thereby potentially reducing satisfaction even when motivators are fulfilled. The practical implication for the management of Taman Prakerti Bhuana is the need for a comprehensive evaluation of internal policies, communication systems, and work environments to strengthen hygiene factors so that transformational leadership, which is already running effectively, can be supported by a more conducive organizational climate and sustainably enhance job satisfaction.
