Abstract

Now adays, the world is still struggling in dealing with Covid-19 and all the effects it causes. This condition has many impacts, including on the socio-economic sector and can be overcome by increasing zakat income. Given the extremely dangerous nature of the transmission of the corona virus, WHO recommends the use of digital money. This also applies to the payment of zakat through e-zakat (online payment of zakat). This study aims to determine the factors that influence Muzakki's decision to pay zakat online. This study uses a younger generation as a sample because of its role as the largest internet users who are able to easily learn the latest technology. This research contributes to providing new insights regarding the factors that influence consumers in using e-zakat. This research has implications for amil zakat institutions to innovate through e-zakat services and improve their services so that more consumers can serve so that the number of users will increase. Research instrument used to obtain data was a likert scale questionnaire. The research model used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) and analyzed using PLS to test the measurement model and the structural model simultaneously. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, e-wom and religiosity have a positive effect on the decision to pay zakat. Meanwhile, the intention variable proved insignificant in moderating the relationship between e-wom and religiosity towards the decision to pay zakat online. Keywords: e-wom, religiosity, intention, decision

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of financial inclusion variables on third-party funds (DPK) in Islamic banking. The variables analyzed include both financial inclusion and non-financial inclusion factors. Financial inclusion variables are represented by office networks, ATM networks, and the number of savings customers. Meanwhile, non-financial inclusion variables include DPK, interest rates, profitability, yield equivalent, and the size of Islamic banking institutions. This research uses a quantitative approach with the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) and Eviews as the analysis tool. The findings reveal that the financial inclusion variables significantly influencing Islamic banking deposits are the office network (KTR), ATM network (ATM), and the index of the number of DPK accounts per 1000 adult population (IRDPK). These results indicate that expanding banking infrastructure and increasing access to financial services play a critical role in boosting Islamic banking deposits. This study contributes to understanding how financial inclusion factors interact with other banking variables to shape the performance of Islamic banks in Indonesia, providing insights for policymakers and financial institutions in enhancing financial accessibility and deposit mobilization.

Abstract

The increase in non-performing financing ratios occurred in several countries, such as Indonesia, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates from 2015 to 2019. The aim of this study is to determine the most influencing factors that caused NPF. Hence, the growth of NPF can be controlled once the most influencing factors of NPF are determined. The method used in this research is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis to examine the influence of Sale and Purchase contracts, Profit-Sharing Contracts, Financing to Deposit Ratio, and Financing Allowances on non-performing financing. This study was taken in Islamic Banks in Indonesia, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates. The results of this study indicated that Sale and Purchase Contracts, Profit-Sharing Contracts, and Financing Allowances have a significant effect on the NPF Ratio, while FDR did not affect NPF. Through this research, it is hoped that it can contribute to regulators implementing obligations that can control the rate of NPF.

Abstract

This research aimed to see how sharia stocks, Sukuk, sharia mutual funds, and inflation affected economic development. This is a quantitative analysis based on secondary data from 2012 to 2019. Multiple linear regression equations, t-test, F test, and coefficient of determination are examples of data analysis methods (R2). According to the multiple linear regression equation test findings, sharia stocks, Sukuk, and sharia mutual funds have a favorable impact on Indonesian economic development, but inflation has a negative effect. The findings of the t-test show that sharia stocks and inflation have a considerable impact on Indonesian economic development, but Sukuk and sharia mutual funds have no such impact. The F test findings reveal that sharia equities, Sukuk, sharia mutual funds, and inflation have a major impact on Indonesian economic development. The coefficient of determination (R2) test findings show that sharia equities, Sukuk, sharia mutual funds, and inflation may all be used to explain economic development..

Abstract

Digitalization has penetrated the world of Islamic banking for a long time, including in the form of Self Service Technology, including mobile banking. The purpose of this study was to see whether the dimensions of the quality of mobile banking affect customer satisfaction. The author conducted a survey using a questionnaire distributed to the millennial generation in the city of Medan. The collected data was then analyzed using SPSS 25 using the multiple linear regression analysis methods. The results of data analysis show that simultaneously, the quality of SST has an effect on customer satisfaction. The dimensions of security/privacy in mobile banking partially affect the satisfaction of millennial Islamic banking customers. While other dimensions, namely enjoyment, design/aesthetics, sociality, and practicality, partially have no effect. The results of this study indicate that customer satisfaction can be explained by all variables in the study of 69.8%. Based on these results, Islamic banking needs to improve the performance of mobile banking. Banking digitalization must pay attention to the quality dimension, not just converting banking services into digital form.

Abstract

Financial technology is a form of adaptation to technological disruptions. The adoption of fintech in ZIS payments (zakat, infaq, shadaqah) is necessary if the zakat institution wants to increase fundraising from the community. This study investigates the impact of digitizing payments on interest in paying ZIS. This study uses quantitative analysis with a combined approach of the TAM and TPB. A quantitative sample was obtained from 250 respondents with 174 valid and representative questionnaires. The research areas were Yogyakarta and Surakarta. The results show that digitization of ZIS payments increases a ZIS's intention to pay. All TAM constructs, namely perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, affect attitudes and intentions to pay ZIS. The TPB constructs namely attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control affect the intention to pay a ZIS.
