Abstract

The Hidayatullah Foundation is an Al-Qur'an-based school that has a tahfidz Al-Qur'an program that is taught every day to students. By holding the Tahfidz competition, it is hoped that it can provide motivation to students to increase their enthusiasm for memorizing the Al-Qur'an. However, so far the selection system that has been carried out by the school still uses manual methods by estimating students who are deemed capable without thorough calculations being carried out. So the selection of students is felt to be unfair and there is no opportunity for other students to take part in the competition. The application of the decision support system uses the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method with the results of the grades and ranking of the best students in the Tahfidz program which is carried out through a system calculation process with the first rank with alternative A10 getting a result of 0.996342132 named Alicia from class 3. The test results using the confusion matrix show the value accuracy of 96.9% which indicates a high level of accuracy. It was concluded that the SAW method could be used to select students to take part in competitions.

Abstract

PT Taruna Kusuma Purinusa is a company that focuses on the beauty cotton industry with the Selection Cotton brand label. Their product sales are spread in various cities including Malang City. This study aims to determine fluctuations and predict the amount of sales of cotton PT Taruna Kusuma Purinusa Malang and simultaneously compare the two methods of Decomposition, namely Multiplicative Decomposition and Additive Decomposition. The data is secondary on cotton sales from January 2019 to May 2023. The research procedure begins by analyzing the components of the decomposition, namely the trend (𝑇), seasonal (𝑆), cyclical (𝐶) and random (𝐼) components, then multiplying the value of these components. The prediction results show that cotton sales from June to December 2023 are as follows: 1,759,864 in June, 1,691,855 in July, 1,744,614 in August, 1,720,060 in September, 1,746,516 in October, 1,850,913 in November, and 1,893,669 in December. In addition, the proper forecasting method used in the Cotton Sales data at PT Taruna Kusuma Purnisua Malang is the additive decomposition method.

Abstract

One of the main problems leading to low yields and possible crop failure in maize, a crop of great importance to human civilization, is that plant diseases are discovered and treated too late, leading to more severe diseases and even crop failure. Using photos taken from the Kaggle platform and some field shots, this research seeks to develop a classification system that can identify different types of diseases present on maize leaves. The disease types identified include Common Rust, Gray Leaf Spot, and Bacterial Leaf Blight. MobileNetV2 uses a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) design to handle resource-intensive processes. To produce a lightweight model, this CNN uses separate corner shifts. The dataset for this study was taken from field shooting and the Kaggle platform. The study found that the MobileNetV2 model clarified objects very well with 93.01% accuracy. This discovery will help farmers find diseases on corn leaves (Zea Mays L.).

Abstract

Sales information systems are a crucial component for companies, including Toko BIFFA Wallpaper, which requires increased efficiency in product sales. The current manual system causes various problems such as manual recording of transactions, income, and expenses, as well as ineffective archiving and management of daily and monthly financial reports. This research aims to build and implement a web-based sales information system to facilitate cashiers and owners of Toko BIFFA Wallpaper Kepanjen in managing, storing, and searching transaction data and reports. The method used is the prototype method, which includes needs analysis, rapid design, prototype construction, initial user evaluation, prototype improvement, and system development. The system is developed using PHP programming language and MySQL database, with testing conducted using the blackbox technique. The test results show that the system's appearance and features function well and meet user needs. This research concludes that the developed web-based sales information system significantly aids and facilitates cashiers and owners of Toko BIFFA Wallpaper Kepanjen in sales management, increasing efficiency and reducing manual errors.

Abstract

FTI Fest is a music concert event organized by one of the faculties at Merdeka University Malang. In its management, the FTI Fest event still uses various manual methods and tends to be less effective in carrying out transaction processes, especially in terms of ticket sales. Therefore, a management information system is needed that is tailored to your needs to make ticket ordering easier. This research aims to design and develop an event ticketing management information system using the waterfall method. The research stages were carried out starting from system requirements analysis, system design, implementation, system testing, to maintenance. The results of functionality testing show that the system functions well and is suitable for use. The information system developed in this research can make it easier for admins or event managers to manage events and tickets and simplify the process of recording transactions. Apart from that, with a payment gateway, buyers can make event ticket purchase transactions anywhere and anytime.

Abstract

The rapid development of digitalization has a significant impact on data and information protection. One approach to protecting data and information is through the use of cryptography. The research aims to combine the use of Vigenere and Hill Cipher algorithms in modeling to maintain the security and confidentiality of digital messages. The focus of this research is on the process of encrypting digital text messages. The layered security in this study takes advantage of the advantages of each algorithm. The combination of the two is designed to increase the complexity of encryption and reduce vulnerability to cryptanalytic attacks. The encryption process starts with using Vigenere Cipher for initial message encrypting, then the results are re-encrypted using Hill Cipher. Research shows that this layered security model can improve data security and make it more difficult for uninterested parties to decipher it. The combination of Vigenere's and Hill Cipher's algorithms could be one of the layered security alternatives to digital message encryption in an effort to protect information and data from security threats in the digital age.

Abstract

Affandi Museum, located on the banks of the Gajah Wong River at Jalan Laksda Adisucipto No. 167, Yogyakarta, occupies a strategic location that is easily accessible to both domestic and international tourists. However, the museum currently lacks a virtual version for remote visits. To remain relevant and accessible to the digital generation, this research aims to transform Affandi Museum into a 3D Virtual Tour and develop its interactivity using the prototype method. This approach allows for rapid and iterative development, focusing on interactive elements such as navigation, pop-up information, and audio guides, using the Unity platform. Usability testing involves various users to ensure an intuitive interface and optimal experience, resulting in highly valued aspects such as ease of navigation, visual quality, and interactively presented information, with an average rating of 4.7/5. This digital transformation enables Affandi Museum to reach a wider audience and strengthen its position as a center of cultural and art education.
